These were Aditya’s stats when he reached beginner 5th-order. But in the two and a half months’ time, his stats have also changed, especially after he reached mid-5th-order now.

”Not bad!”

”All of my stats have broken past 1,000+.” Aditya closed his fists and felt that he could kill a Beginner 5th-order with a single punch at his full power.

”There is no use in keeping 800 stats points.”

”System, allocate enough stats points to raise my agility to 2,000.” Aditya felt this was necessary since at this moment, agility was his biggest weapon.

『Ding! 447 free stats have been allocated to Agility.』

『Ding! Your current agility has reached 2,000.』

Aditya closed his eyes as he felt a warm sensation spreading all over his body.

”I would love to put my remaining stats into strength, but I can’t forget about my stamina.” With all boosts, his stats would further rise. This also means the gap between agility and stamina would significantly widen.

Stamina was necessary because, moving at such a high speed, his stamina would burn at a rapid pace. To make sure that he didn’t exhaust himself in mid-battle, Aditya decided to allocate his remaining points into stamina.

”System, allocate 300 free stats points into Stamina and put the rest into strength.”

『Ding! 300 free stats points have been added to Stamina.』

『Ding! Your current stamina has reached [1609+]』

『Ding! 53 free stats points have been added to Strength.』

『Ding! Your current Strength has reached [1,712]』

『_Level: - 601 → 1000 [Mid 5th-order]

_Free stats: - 800→ 0』

”Perfect!!” Aditya was very happy with the improvement in his stats.

Aditya was still not sure if he stood a real chance against Victor. If he had to estimate it honestly, his chances of winning were less than twenty per cent. It was not fear that made him think like this, but a clear understanding of the gap between them. He knew exactly where he stood and what he was up against.

When facing someone from a higher Order, the most important factor was always the difference in stats. Skills, techniques, and experience all mattered, but if the gap in raw stats was too large, then none of those things would be enough. Even if the opponent had weaker skills, they could still overpower someone with lower stats through pure strength, speed, and durability.

Aditya himself had done the same countless times. When fighting against lower-order cultivators, he did not even bother relying on his skills most of the time. His overwhelming stats alone were enough to end the fight almost instantly. In many cases, it would only take a few microseconds for the battle to be decided. That was the harsh reality of power differences, and now, for once, he was the one on the weaker side of that gap.

Scene Change_____

”How was life within the six continents?” Previously, the Goddess of War Fraya did not meet any of the girls in the spiritual world. She only met Aditya and his parents.

Their meeting lasted barely 20 minutes, in which they discussed important things such as the organisation and the upcoming civil war. This was mainly because Aditya was short on time, and he needed to meet a few other Dukes who they were sure would immediately join their side after a single meeting.

The Dukes that they met in the spiritual world also had to be trustworthy so that no word about their meeting would leak out until the time was right.

She only briefly met Rin, who introduced herself as the Goddess of Music and having the ability to pull people into the spiritual world.

After that, she took her leave as she was busy cultivating.

The same could be set for Athena and Laura. Both girls were also cultivating while staying at the dwarf tribe’s place.

Now the four girls finally had a moment alone to sit down and have a good chat.

”It’s actually really nice.” Rin thought she had lost her entire family before being captured. She had even given up hope of living her life, but not only did Aditya rescue her and save her life, but he also gave her a new family.

A family that managed to fulfil the void in her heart. A family that managed to fulfil that longing, a deep desire to feel that warmth.

”Everyone back home is really nice. Everyone is really kind. There isn’t a single day that is boring.” Thinking about everyone, Rin could not help but smile. She was already missing everyone. If she could, she would love to bring everyone to the spiritual world so that every night the whole family could meet.

”Most importantly, I was able to find my peace there.” Freya could tell from her expression that the Goddess of Music genuinely meant her words.

”That’s really nice to hear. Peace is a very important thing.” Freya hasn’t been able to find that peace for a long time now. Now she had everything that she fought to have.

She was the empress of a powerful empire. She fought battles to her heart’s content.

But one thing that she never had was peace.

A part of the goddess of war felt slightly envious of Rin.

Her life was just as hard as hers, if not harder, but she was able to find something that she was content with.

She didn’t need to say it; Freya could just see it on her face.

”What about you two?” Freya looked at Athena.

The last time the three of them had met, they were only six or seven years old. Back then, everything was simple. They spent their time like normal children, without thinking about what the future would bring.

At that time, they could easily be called childhood friends.

But years had passed since then. Without realising it, they had all changed. Their personalities had grown in different directions, shaped by their own experiences and responsibilities. Because of that, an invisible barrier had formed between them. It was not something anyone created on purpose, but it was there, making things feel a little awkward despite the memories they once shared.

”After my family’s death, Laura and I got separated because of an ambush by the organisation.”

”I managed to send Laura to the Six Continents, but I was very injured, and my cultivation was also damaged. So I decided to enter seclusion for over two decades.” Athena’s cultivation had fallen to Beginner 5th-order. Things were so bad that even her fallen cultivation felt shaky like a foundation that had become so weak that the entire building could collapse at any given moment.

Her cultivation foundation had become unstable or unbalanced. At that moment, she had two choices. Either let that collapse and restart cultivating from the start, or fix the foundation and then slowly cultivate to recover her strength. Both paths were going to take decades.

It’s just that cultivating from the beginning was going to take way more time.

With her knowledge, it wasn’t hard to fix her foundation and recover her strength. Someone in her place might have preferred to lose their whole cultivation because fixing the foundation was such a tricky and messy process.

”You must have gone through a lot.” As her friend, failing to be by her side when she needed her the most left her feeling guilty. But everything happened so quickly that no one had time to come to their aid.

The entire Empire’s teleportation arrays were sealed. Within a single night, an entire Empire was wiped out. To this day, no one knows who was responsible for this or who did this until Freya learned about the organisation.
