Daddy Always Gets Jealous

The boy in the white shirt next to the little girl looked toward the little guy’s direction.

The little guy stood there with a face full of arrogance.

The little girl smiled at the little guy, then turned to the boy next to her, ”Big brother, shall we go check it out?”

Huo Jinnan glanced over, thinking it was the little girl who liked the little guy, and looked at Che Huan. The two walked aside to sign up, leaving the little guy standing there alone.

The little guy stood there, watching the little girl and the boy in the white shirt walk over, sized them up a few times, and pursed his lips without making a sound.

Once the little girl reached the little guy’s side, ”You’re Huo Minhan, aren’t you?”

The little guy stood there, his face taut as he asked, ”Who are you?”

The tall boy in the white shirt stayed silent, while the little girl chirped happily, ”My name is Yuanyuan, and he is Tuantuan.”

The little guy ”oh”ed, nodding his head, ”So together you’re Tuantuan Yuanyuan?”

The little girl nodded her head, ”My great-grandma says that’s how it is, saying Tuantuan Yuanyuan sounds festive.”

The little guy pursed his lips, looked at the silly little girl, and then glanced at the cold and aloof tall boy, ”So what?”

The little girl remembered her main task and looked at the boy beside her, ”Grandma asked me and big brother to look after you. If anyone bullies you, come and find me in the third grade class, my name is Qin Ruosu, okay?”

”...”

The little guy glared at the little girl with a sullen face. He was supposed to find her if he got bullied?

Was that not a joke?

He remembered when he first started kindergarten, a little girl who looked just like that had spoken to him for a bit and gave him a piece of chocolate, which a few chubby boys saw. When the teacher wasn’t around, they cornered him at the classroom wall.

Hmm, having frequently heard Huo Jinnan talk on the phone with his friends about how to hit someone first hit the face, and to catch the ringleader first, he didn’t hesitate and punched the boy standing in front right in the nose, making it bleed.

After wiping his hands, he took out a US dollar from his wallet, tossed it onto the chubby kid’s face, ”Here’s your medical fee; keep the change.”

Then he cast a few glances at the stationary chubbies, went back to his place, and lay down to sleep.

After that, nobody ever bullied him again!

The little girl widened her eyes at the little guy, ”Why aren’t you talking? Is it because I’m too pretty and cute?”

”...”

”But great-grandma said, you can’t marry close relatives, because their kids come out dumb and can’t do anything. So you better not like me.”

”...”

The little guy couldn’t help but roll his eyes, utterly confused— who liked her anyway.

He silently walked away, glanced in Huo Jinnan’s direction, and took small steps over there.

The little girl called out from behind, ”In the future, when you see me, call me cousin, okay?”

”...”

The little guy pursed his lips; even upon seeing her, he’d pretend not to notice—who cared about calling her cousin.

The little girl looked in the direction of the little guy, saw him walking over to Che Huan, and tugged at the boy’s hand, ”Is that the Aunt Huanhuan that great-grandma talked about?”

”Mhm.”

”Is that my uncle there?”

”Yes!”

”Big brother, although auntie is quite pretty, I still like uncle more, Oppa!”

Qin Ruochen glanced in Huo Jinnan’s direction, feeling that he seemed to like auntie more. Alas, Yuanyuan was always like this, helpless at the sight of an uncle with long legs, ”Let’s go.”
