Cursed Immortality

Chapter 898: King Alchemist Workshop!

At this moment, Jacob stood in front of a wall in the underground section of the Myriad Galaxy Palace, and his eyes of Judge were flickering as he could see through behind the wall.

’After days of scouring, this is it!’ Jacob thought before directly punching the wall, and at the moment of impact, countless symbols appeared, forming a runic wall.

But Jacob didn’t flatter and increased the force behind his punch while adding more soul force, and the symbols started to dim down, and the wall finally caved in.

However, when he destroyed the formation, the wall transformed into a metal door, which was now bent. Jacob easily pulled it out, revealing a stairway corridor going further down.

Jacob continued forward before reaching the pathway’s end, which led to another giant door. Just like the door at the entrance, he destroyed it. Although the protective formations and materials were of Legendary King State rank, they were still just at the basic rank, which couldn’t hold Jacob at bay.

The moment Jacob pulled this door apart, a spacious chamber was revealed, and inside was a futuristic lab filled with all kinds of alchemy materials, shelves, experiment subjects, and even some ongoing and unfinished experiments.

This was the alchemy workshop of the Myriad Galaxy King that Jacob wanted other than his wealth and knowledge. After all, Myriad Galaxy King was a king alchemist, which aligned with Jacob’s purpose and needs.

The equipment here was tough to get in the legendary plains, and probably the Alchemy Guild was the only place with them. To get them, one needed an identity like a King Alchemist.

Although Jacob was confident that he could develop his own tools and equipment, he knew it would take him a long time, so the easiest way was to raid an alchemy guild base.

Jacob’s purpose was simple: he wanted the alchemy guild’s technology after he got the Infinite Space. Now that he had a place of his own and didn’t need to worry about abandoning it, he wanted to develop his own workshop, and what could be a better start than Alchemy Guild’s technology?

Furthermore, with the third phase heavily focused on alchemy, Jacob needed all the advantages he could get, and having the alchemy guild’s technology was just the start since there were Vitality Architects in the requirements even though he didn’t know existed before.

Lastly, this workshop was only a part of his plan because the Myriad Galaxy King’s expertise was Rune Crafting, and his workshop was mainly filled with equipment and research on Rune Crafting.

This means, he only got his hands of Rune Artificer knowledge and tools up to Basic Legendary King Rank, he still required Magic Smith and that mysterious profession Vitality Architect.

Nonetheless, Jacob knew it was a good start, and this entire city was an alchemist city in a sense, so Jacob could take his time to get his hands on every alchemy-related knowledge and tool he needed. After all, his Infinite Space was massive, and it happened to be rather empty.

Jacob didn’t waste any time and focused his mind on the workshop in front of him as his soul force started to spread in space, which was 10,000 meters in diameter, and there were even some hidden compartments that didn’t escape his detection.

Once Jacob’s soul force covered the entire workshop, he tried to pull it all into the infinity pendant’s infinite space, and just like what happened with the Death Law Essence Pool, the entire workshop became empty the next moment, squeaky clean without any traces of the lab before. Jacob smiled faintly in satisfaction since things were going smoothly, and now he could get busy with his Rune Crafting and absorb the wisdom tomes in his possession, especially the one he got from the Cursed Necromancer King.

After all, he was still a relatively new Legendary King, and there were some things he wasn’t sure about, such as soul force; he wanted to see if he was missing something and then reinforce his own power further.

The Myriad Galaxy City has become his base of operation, and he had no intention of leaving until he was done. Elia and Autarch also needed a place to finish their breakthrough and evolution.

’Now that I’ve taken care of the professional requirements to some extent, I need to search for those requirement materials as well. Besides those obvious mythical rank ones, I should be looking for Ambrosia of Life Tree, Law Essences, and Godly Faith Nectar.

’I do know the Law Essences exist in the legendary plains, and I’ve already gotten Death Law Essence, which has left me with eleven other Law Essences. But from what I’ve found in the virtual star world’s information trading center, there is no clue about law essences or these other two.

’The Ambrosia of Life Tree should be something related to a rare natural treasure like the Earth Tree of Vitality, while the Godly Faith Nectar should have something to do with God and Faith, so I might find some clues in the Cardinal Spirit Temple.

’Or, I can use wish to learn about them and even locations. But since these things were extremely important to me and related to Immortika, they’ll cost me a huge amount of lifespan. So, I shouldn’t take this route before exhausting my other options.’

Jacob’s eyes flickered with a hint of dilemma, ’This made me think about Nyx’s proposal again. If she can infect others with her abilities through the Virtual Star World, like in the Dark Battle Arena, I can gather her lifespan without risk. But I still have a bad feeling about letting her loose in the Virtual Star World.

’My enemies are no longer just mortals but literal Gods, and their means are profound…’

Jacob shook his head before putting the matter back in his head and looked at the empty workshop, ’Well, this place will do…’

The next moment, Jacob used his soul force to dig out a massive pit in the floor, which was actually made with legendary lord rank metal, and after carving another section out in the pit, he waved his sleeve, and Myriad Galaxy King’s body appeared in that section. There was a tiny vial below him but hidden.

Anyhow, Jacob then sealed the pit with the section he dug out, and now Autarch was buried, but he wasn’t too concerned since he knew Autarch wouldn’t die because of suffocation.

Once Autarch completed its evolution, Jacob could summon Autarch, and the Myriad Galaxy King wouldn’t serve any purpose.

However, Jacob didn’t stop just after he left the underground workshop; he used his power to collapse the entire underground workshop and bury it, including the pathway.

Now, even if something discovered this place, they would have to dig through all those metals, and he then used his soul to force to seal the door in the wall. It was very easy with his current control, and he used an array to make it look like the other walls.

It took him over two days to find this place with the help of his Eyes of Judge; the others won’t be able to discover it unless they know what they are looking for.

Then Jacob returned to check on Elia when Nyx’s excited voice sounded, ”It’s done! I got the Nightmare Sepsis Fruit! Come in realm quickly!”
