Cultivating Disciples to Breakthrough

Mui and her antics aside, Xuan Hao focused his attention back on absorbing the earthly treasures from the ascension realm tower after making sure that the heavenly river above was indeed stable and wouldn’t end up crashing down from above the second he turned his attention away from it, a very real worry considering just how much damage it would end up causing if such a large quantity of spiritual water ended up falling down from up high towards the disciples abodes. If he or Feng Chen weren’t around to handle the situation immediately, it wouldn’t be odd for a few disciples to die in that kind of situation.

Luckily, the heavenly river itself wasn’t just kept in the air by the formation that encased it, but also from the fact that it had been anchored in the void itself. Making it even more stable up in the air than the ground beneath his feet. The only one with the ability to even shake the heavenly river within the Star Shattering Sect was none other than him, as it required someone to directly use the Dao of Space to tear apart the spatial anchors keeping the heavenly river in place, spatial anchor that would only grow more solid and stronger with time as the heavenly river grew in strength.

In other words, there was nothing for him to worry about and he could single mindedly place all of his attention on breaking through to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm while leaving Lu Dongli and Li Chi on their own for a bit, something that was also good for the two of them as his training through his incarnation since his true self had entered the ascension realm tower wasn’t exactly relaxed and had left the two of them exhausted whenever they dragged their exhausted bodies off to sleep.

Of course, the most exciting thing for the two of them being that they were given the opportunity to spend their time alongside other similarly young disciples admiring the heavenly river that had taken shape above the Seventh Star Peak, some of the more talented among these disciples even grasping their own rudimentary water techniques through this observation of the river above.

After all, while grasping the Dao of water was still something far away from these younger disciples, grasping a few simple water-based techniques was still doable.

Not just these younger disciples, but several of the sect’s elders who had come to admire the heavenly river, some even returning from the sect’s border regions where they had been busy fighting with demonic cultivators, also found themselves comprehending brand-new water-based techniques while others also found themselves breaking through bottlenecks of already learnt water-based techniques.

The benefits brought by the heavenly river to those leaning towards the Dao of Water were so immense that it even began to make the Star Shattering Sect trend towards becoming a sect focused on the Dao of Water.

This was of course something understandable, as the heavenly river could be considered the best available dao ground within the sect that was easily accessible by every member of the sect. Making elders like Elder Song realize that it would be best if more similar unique locations like the heavenly river emerged within the Shattered Star Peaks in the future.

This was of course something understandable, as the heavenly river could be considered the best available dao ground within the sect that was easily accessible by every member of the sect. Making elders like Elder Song realize that it would be best if more similar unique locations like the heavenly river emerged within the Shattered Star Peaks in the future.

Problem with this being that unique locations for comprehending the Dao was by no means easy to find and even if found, they were close to impossible to move and was one of the main reason why a major power like the Blue Sea Empire found itself governing such a vast area in the past before its fall.

The size of such a powerful major power not only has to do with it being larger and having more subjects under its control, but also controlling the countless spirit stone mines, spiritual herb fields and more importantly Dao Grounds, unique locations like the heavenly river that made comprehending certain Daos easier. One such Valley of Illusory Beast Xuan Hao had once found himself inside of in the past where comprehension of the Dao of Illusion was far easier.

Left with this kind of problem that simply couldn’t be solved within a short period of time and the only real being within the sect capable of producing something as unique as a Dao Ground being Mui, Elder Song and other elders who wanted more things similar to the heavenly river within the Shattered Star Peaks could ultimately only give up on this notion for now and silently pray that Mui would choose to create another heavenly river in the future aligned with the Dao that they themselves were focused on comprehending. Knowing that such a thing happening would allow their future cultivation progress to experience a massive leap forward far beyond their current comprehension and cultivation speed.

Maybe because of this, though Mui found herself being scolded by Elder Song alongside Song Jia for the trouble and chaos the two of them had once again caused, it didn’t take long before different elders began seeking the two of them out looking to see if they were interested in creating another heavenly river in the future aligned with a different Dao.

Of course, though Mui wasn’t interested in what these elders wanted, she was more than happy to accept the countless resources given by these eager elders who wanted her to create another Dao Ground in the future. Happily using these new resources to get started on her next project without more than a few days of rest, a project that just so happened to be connected to the heavenly river now floating around above the sect. Not that anyone else, other the Song Jia, knew anything about this.

…

Following the disturbance caused by Mui settling down with everyone in the sect taking the chance to return to the sect to check out the new heavenly river that had emerged within the Shattered Star Peaks hovering silently in the air above the Seventh Star Peak, still in the process of slowly carving out new channels that would reach the other Star Peaks of the Shattered Star Peaks in the future and maybe even go beyond the Shattered Star Peaks in the far off future, the sect returned to its previous calm state as time continued to flow onwards without any pause.

”Haha! Finally broke through!” And within his cultivation chambers, Xuan Hao happily exclaimed to no one in specific as he felt the last bit of power from the final earthly treasure fully merged with his internal world. Directly elevating his cultivation from the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm, the second his internal world reached a certain size.

Different from others who might struggle at the final step where one needed to form the internal world within the dantian centered on the landmass where the dao lotus containing the soul was located, he had already completed this difficult step ahead of time and successfully formed his internal world. Meaning the only thing needed for him to go from the Middel Stage of the Land Creation Realm to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm was to increase the size of the landmass and spiritual sea within his internal world to a certain extent before his cultivation naturally elevated from the Middle Stage of the Land Creation Realm to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm.

The only real thing he needed to accomplish this being time or to speed up things, heavenly and earthly treasures that would be able to increase the size of both the spiritual sea and landmass within his dantian. Completing a process that under normal circumstances would have taken tens of thousands of years if not hundreds of thousands of years of arduous cultivation without the assistance of heavenly or earthly treasures.

And that is without mentioning that most wouldn’t even be able to break through to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm in their lives without the assistance of these heavenly and earthly treasures that would be needed in case one broke through to the Land Creation Realm without reaching the Late or Peak Stage of the Sea Formation Realm.

One such example being the old ancestor of the Wei Empire, who had learnt from him how to break through to the Late Stage of the Land Creation Realm but would ultimately never be able to break through in his lifetime without the assistance of heavenly or earthly treasures to repair the fundamental damage his foundation had suffered from breaking through to the Land Creation Realm without a sufficient large spiritual sea and relying on a certain kind of treasure to forcibly stabilize his internal situation and stop his dantian from collapsing in on itself.

Just thinking about it made Xuan Hao realize just how important heavenly and earthly treasures were going to be for the sect in the future when Land Creation Realm cultivators outside of himself began emerging.
