Counterfeit Hero

Chapter 44: After modification: Chapter 4 Who else dares to come?

Milan, upon hearing this, felt both angry and amused, and pinched Fatty.

Mills said coldly, ”Gave you face but you don’t want it? Listen up, walk out on your own, or crawl out if you don’t. Believe it or not?”

If it were before, Fatty, who had never fought before, might have endured it. Now, even though Fatty feared death, he wasn’t afraid of trouble at all. After experiencing the bloody battles on the battlefield, this guy in front of him posed no threat. It felt good bullying the weak but avoiding the strong. Besides, even a clay figurine has some anger. He shook his head foolishly and said, ”I don’t believe it!”

The commotion had already alerted the hotel manager. Seeing the young master of the establishment arguing with someone, he couldn’t help but secretly curse. The guests invited today were very important, but the young master had a stubborn mule-like temper. To settle this quickly without disturbing the guests inside, he reckoned he had to focus on that Lieutenant.

By this time, without needing Mills to express it, the manager stepped forward voluntarily. Sternly, he said to Tian Xingjian, ”I am the manager of the hotel. Sir, please leave immediately!”

Seeing this manager indiscriminately driving him away, Fatty’s anger grew even stronger. He stood up and shouted, ”Bullshit! I’m staying here today!”

In a fit of impulsive anger, Fatty felt his body trembling from the adrenaline rush. It was a physiological issue he’d had since childhood; he couldn’t distinguish if he was scared or excited.

Mills, seeing Lieutenant Fatty trembling all over, thought he was scared and laughed heartily, mocking, ”If you’ve got a tough mouth, don’t be afraid. Why do you look like you’ve been struck by lightning?” He then turned to the manager and said, ”Get some people to throw these two pieces of trash out!”

Hearing Tian Xingjian’s raised voice, the manager started to sweat profusely. Though the glass wall in the middle was soundproof, if things got out of hand, it wouldn’t be concealable. Knowing that arguments were pointless, he quickly signaled the security guards who had been lurking on the side to step forward and drive them away.

Tian Xingjian suppressed his anger, stood in front of Milan protectively, and sneered, ”I advise you not to do anything foolish. If you really piss me off, don’t blame me for going berserk!” This guy had been continually humiliated, and he was already a bit mentally unhinged.

The security guards paid no heed to his threats. Ten burly men swarmed forward, with two leading them approaching Tian Xingjian from both sides, intending to grab him and carry him out. They were skilled at this, used to swiftly resolving issues to avoid disturbing the guests inside.

But how could they deal with a Special Soldier burning with rage? Fatty swung his hand back and slapped the first approaching security guard hard across the face. The guard fell to the ground with a thud, spitting out blood.

Then, with a spinning roundhouse kick, the second security guard who had rushed forward was kicked hard in the chest, flying backward and knocking over several tables before stopping. He lay on the ground curled up, unable to even groan.

Two actions in a second, as quick as lightning. Everyone was stunned. The security guards rushing from behind were terrified, stopping in their tracks and piling up together in a mess. The two in front were the best among them, the head and vice-captain. If this Lieutenant dealt with them in a second, what would happen to everyone else?

One unlucky fellow was pushed from behind, lost his footing, and rushed forward only to have Tian Xingjian punch him in the nose. Blood flowed profusely, and his mind was in chaos, holding his face and crying.

Fatty growled viciously, ”Who the hell dares come next?”

Such arrogance and intimidation! For a long time, no one dared to respond.

The young people and the manager were shocked and scared, silent as cicadas in winter. Mills’ girlfriend hid behind the trembling Mills, her face pale with terror. They finally realized they had provoked a monster they shouldn’t have.

Everyone in the small hall was focused on Fatty. Watching his actions, they could only think of one word: shocking! This Army Captain, when angry, was like a raging tyrannosaurus! His moves were filled with killing intent, and the two most skilled security guards were defeated in an instant.

That slap and kick were terrifyingly powerful. The sounds of the blows on the two security guards made people’s hearts race. That horrifying speed and strength were utterly unstoppable. Just imagining being hit even once by that made everyone feel a chill down their spines.

It was Milan’s first time seeing Fatty this angry. She never knew that this seemingly gentle and harmless guy had such terrifying power. The face that usually seemed easy to bully was now frighteningly fierce. Was this Fatty really the same one she could push around all the time? Thinking of the slaps Tian Xingjian gave her, Milan’s face reddened, her ears burning.

With her hand touching her hot face, Milan, trying to cool down, shrank behind Tian Xingjian, feeling satisfied. That broad back was like a thick city wall, making her feel so secure, so safe.

Just then, a man in his fifties hurriedly squeezed through the crowd, angrily asking, ”Who is causing trouble?” Seeing the manager, he grabbed his collar and shouted, ”What are you doing? Don’t you know we have guests today?”

Before finishing his words, he spotted Mills standing aside. Without waiting for the manager’s response, he slapped Mills’ face and yelled, ”You idiot! I told you to stay home, and you come here to cause trouble!”

Undoubtedly, this man was the owner of Simai Hotel, Mills’ father.

Though Mills got slapped, he felt like he’d found a savior, and he recounted the events with exaggerations, making Tian Xingjian and Milan seem like scornful villains, while he appeared as a justice-seeking young man.

Knowing well what kind of person his son was, Mills’ father was fully aware of his tricks. He glared and shouted, ”I’ll deal with you at home later!” Turning to the manager, he asked, ”Is Mills telling the truth?”

The manager dared not say otherwise. After all, it did appear that way on the surface. Nodding vigorously, he replied, ”Yes, Mr. Joseph.”

Joseph turned and coldly said to Tian Xingjian, ”Will you leave on your own, or should I have someone throw you out?”

Screw you, acting just like your useless son! Tian Xingjian laughed angrily, shrugged, and said, ”I don’t really feel like walking, so why don’t you have someone throw me out.”

Joseph had never seen such an arrogant Army Captain before. Usually, he dealt with Generals, and even they never dared to be this disrespectful.

Joseph signaled to his two bodyguards, deciding to teach this annoying Lieutenant a lesson. His bodyguards were veteran Special Forces soldiers, far superior to the security guards.

This obnoxious Fatty must pay for his arrogance.
