Celestial Beast Taming

Chapter 211: Chapter 138: Elemental Activation Potion

”A Guardian Beast with a score of sixty can reach around eighty after drinking five Potions.”

”A Guardian Beast with a score in the eighties can get infinitely close to a perfect score of one hundred by continuously using five Potions within a year.”

”Furthermore, this Potion’s effect on activating a Guardian Beast’s Elemental Ability won’t diminish over time.”

Hearing this, Zhong Yi’s eyes narrowed subconsciously.

He immediately realized the immense value and market potential of the Elemental Activation Potion Wu Qing had developed.

Many Guardian Beast Masters, after raising their Lifebound Guardian Beast to the Fantasy Tier, would choose to Contract new Guardian Beasts.

Guardian Beast Masters generally start raising the Guardian Beasts they Contract from the Mortal Beast Tier.

In the process of raising these Mortal Beast Tier Guardian Beasts, all sorts of problems tend to arise.

It’s like raising a child—you can’t guarantee they’ll be smart.

Basically, for every ten Magical Guardian Beasts that rely on Elements for combat, at least half will have an affinity for their Elemental Abilities that is inferior to that of a Lifebound Guardian Beast.

There are indeed some Treasures of Heaven and Earth that can help Guardian Beasts improve their use of Elements.

However, such materials are too rare and extremely expensive.

Guardian Beast Masters not from major factions simply can’t afford to use them.

No wonder the Baisheng Commerce Association still tried to forcibly seize the Potion formula from Wu Qing, even knowing he had successfully been promoted to a Four-finger Creator.

Once this Potion hits the market, each bottle could easily sell for one to one point two million Federation Coins.

Even if its price reaches the peak for a Third Level Potion, making it even more expensive than some low-priced Fourth Level Potions, once it’s released, countless Guardian Beast Masters would be scrambling to buy it.

For a Guardian Beast Master whose power has reached the Fantasy Tier, earning several million Alliance Coins is not a difficult task.

For Magical Guardian Beasts that rely on Elements for combat, enhancing their ability to use Elements is a direct boost to their combat power.

The cost of materials for this Potion is nearly six hundred thousand. After factoring in labor costs and material losses due to mistakes, every bottle successfully concocted could still yield a net profit of nearly four hundred thousand Alliance Coins.

A Three-finger Creator can skillfully concoct Third Level Potions.

Based on the output of a single Three-finger Creator, each one could contribute over twenty million Federation Coins in net profit value per month.

That kind of output is basically on par with a Four-finger Creator.

’Zhao Kai really brought me an amazing talent!’

Wu Qing had already handed the handwritten secret formula to Zhong Yi.

After placing the secret formula in Zhong Yi’s hands, Wu Qing spoke with a sincere tone.

”My lord, before I came, Brother Zhao already explained how I should serve under you.”

”Please bestow the Insect Eggs upon me!”

”Once I truly become one of your people, I will also go to the Craftsmen Union in Starlight City to get recertified.”

”Then, just like Brother Zhao, I will recruit twenty apprentices.”

Before he arrived, Wu Qing had felt somewhat conflicted.

Wu Qing and Zhao Kai were the same type of person.

After his conflict with the Baisheng Commerce Association, Wu Qing was even more reluctant to live under someone else’s roof and be controlled.

If Wu Qing had been willing to be controlled, he could have handed over the secret formula for the Elemental Activation Potion to the Baisheng Commerce Association and been well provided for.

He’d heard from Zhao Kai that Zhong Yi had just moved, yet his house contained twelve Mythical Tier Gem Golden Turtles, each with four kinds of iridescence on its body.

The enclosures covering the Gem Golden Turtles were even polished from Water Cloud White Crystal.

The Baisheng Commerce Association could not even begin to compare to such extravagance.

The Baisheng Commerce Association was an old-guard faction that had been developing for decades and had little room for further progress.

Zhong Yi and Shen Xuan had only just spread their wings, not yet even taking flight, but they were already at such a height.

This made Wu Qing, who now recognized this fact, think about what would happen if Zhong Yi were to turn him away.

He would probably be more anxious than when he was in Zhuxue City, on the verge of being secretly harmed by the Baisheng Commerce Association.

At Wu Qing’s words, Zhong Yi smiled and glanced at the formula he offered, then placed the Insect Eggs of the Soul Contracting Gu Mother into Wu Qing’s hand.

”From now on, the Craftsman Apprentices under Brother Zhao will be primarily responsible for the upkeep within the mansion and completing the Guardian Beast cultivation tasks I assign.”

”The Craftsman Apprentices you recruit will mainly be for concocting the Elemental Activation Potion.”

”When you go to the Craftsmen’s Guild to recruit apprentices, you can talk about the effects of the Elemental Activation Potion. Treat it as an advertisement.”

”Try your best to recruit Three-finger Creators who are capable of concocting the Elemental Activation Potion to be your apprentices.”

”Every Three-finger Creator who successfully concocts an Elemental Activation Potion can receive twenty percent of the net profit.”

”Even if it’s hard to recruit apprentices at first, I believe there will be Three-finger Creators who are willing.”

”As the contributor of the Potion formula, you will receive ten percent of the total revenue from all future sales of the Elemental Activation Potion, regardless of who concocts it.”

”If you concoct it yourself, then just like the other Craftsman Apprentices, you can receive a cut of twenty-five percent of the net profit.”

Zhong Yi knew very well that whether it was Wu Qing or the Craftsman Apprentices who joined him, they were all hoping to gain benefits.

’If you want the horse to run, you have to let it eat grass!’

Zhong Yi couldn’t just use his future as a Healing-type Celestial Destiny Seeker to write bounced checks.

That was why Zhong Yi was willing to share the profits with Wu Qing and the Three-finger Creators who were willing to become his apprentices.

Zhong Yi couldn’t possibly let the Creators who were willing to join him work for free and grow poorer and poorer.

After Wu Qing absorbed the Soul Contracting Gu Mother’s Insect Eggs into his Soul Base and was brought completely under its control, Zhong Yi had Zhong Chenghuai prepare the room next to Zhao Kai’s for Wu Qing.

From now on, Wu Qing would also be one of Zhong Yi’s subordinates, living in this mansion.

After breakfast, Wu Qing dragged Zhao Kai straight to the Craftsmen’s Guild to recruit apprentices.

Zhong Yi gave the Wind Flash Butterfly, which he had obtained from the Senhe Commerce Association’s Exotic Beast Garden, to Zhong Ling.

Zhong Ling had already established one-way control over the Wind Flash Butterfly using her Soul Vein Mother Butterfly.

Zhong Yi asked Zhao Kai to go to the Craftsmen’s Guild to help Zhong Ling find several special materials for raising the Wind Flash Butterfly.

After having breakfast at Zhong Yi’s mansion, Zheng Yufeng prepared to leave.

Zhong Yi now had a Mythical Tier Bizarre by his side.

Zheng Yufeng no longer needed to stay by Zhong Yi’s side as his guard.

As he was taking his leave from Zhong Yi, he heard Zhong Yi say,

”Uncle Feng, when are you going to bring those two Deceit Beast Masters you mentioned, the ones whose Deceit Beasts can link with each other, for me to see?”

”I have now Contracted the Moon Eyes Bellflower, so I can Contract newly born Bizarre.”

Zheng Yufeng looked surprised to hear this, not expecting Zhong Yi to have Contracted the Moon Eyes Bellflower so quickly.

And the Moon Eyes Bellflower had even produced two Moon Eyes Flowers!

”Lord Su Sheng, I’ll bring that pair of little lasses over to you tonight.”

”Those two little girls are both Ghost Spirits. If they knew they could come to you, they’d be overjoyed.”

Geniuses with high aptitude, whether they are Guardian Beast Masters or Bizarre, can all receive excellent treatment.

Within the Hidden Moon Division, those Bizarre-in-reserve with extremely high aptitude have many options.

They can independently choose which Deceit Holder they want to follow.

Zheng Yufeng wasn’t exaggerating. For a Bizarre, being able to follow a Celestial Destiny Seeker and be personally commanded by them is far more glorious than following a Deceit Holder who merely possesses a Deceitful Moon Badge.

In the world of Guardian Beast Masters, there is no one who wouldn’t want to be associated with a Celestial Destiny Seeker.

”Uncle Feng, bring them over tonight. If I decide to Contract them using the Moon Eyes Bellflower, they can live here with me from now on. They won’t need to return to the Deceitful Moon Tower.”

Zhong Yi’s appointment with Xu Anjun was at nine in the morning.

Zhong Yi was going with Xu Anjun to the Zhenchong Commerce Association to visit Fu Hongning.

Just like yesterday, Xu Anjun arrived early in her Guardian Beast Vehicle and waited at the entrance of Zhongyi Mansion.

In Xu Anjun’s Guardian Beast Vehicle sat two ordinary-looking, middle-aged men who didn’t seem to have much presence.

These two were Mythical Tier Peak experts whom Wen Tao had personally selected from the Starlight Army.

From now on, they would follow Zhong Yi and Shen Xuan within Starlight City, acting as their guards.
