Beneath the Red Dragon

Chapter 857: Chapter 148: An Immortal Legacy Through Earnest Laughter (Part 6)

“Obilash, do not heed the deception of those Giant Dragons, do not easily incite a war of blood,” the Adult Silver Dragon roared loudly at the back of its child.

“The crown glimmers, the white bones are laid. The dead have no right to clamor,” Obilash’s voice echoed from afar, “They wish to define the Giant Dragon, but unfortunately, they will have no further chance to speak!”

The Mature Golden Dragon and the Adult Silver Dragon exchanged glances, the Adult Silver Dragon asked, “It seems Obilash doesn’t appear to have a twisted soul?”

The Mature Golden Dragon snorted out thick smoke, saying word by word, “His tone at the end was already enough to prove his identity, revolting!”

Ancestral Golden Dragon Oblash staggered out of the underground prison’s gate, pausing slightly at the gate, hesitated for a moment, but still turned his head to gaze at the chief officer of the prison, he said, “Don’t let them suffer too much!”

The chief officer of the prison was momentarily stunned, then realized, and said to this Golden Dragon, “Master Obilash, no matter how fallen the Giant Dragons may be, they are not to be humiliated by us, only Giant Dragons can deal with Giant Dragons.”

“However, if Supervisor Rosani comes, I will report your request to Master Rosani.”

Ancestral Golden Dragon Oblash felt a slight itch in his claws, pacing back and forth outside the gate, finally speaking, “Then, thank you.”

After saying this, Obilash strode out of the Judicial Court as if escaping.

When the Golden Dragon came out, the rain in the sky had already stopped; it was precisely a time of abundant sunshine, leisurely and lazy.

Golden Dragon Oblash spread his wings and flew to the top of the central tower of the city, overlooking the city before him.

He had seen this scenery many times, but each time it held a familiar freshness that he could never get enough of.

However, these two days in all the cities of the Golden Empire, there was a sense of busyness, due to the alliance and war deployments, legion warriors would always pass through the city, boarding iron trains at the edge of the city heading towards predetermined targets.

The cascading flags held unified emblems, yet each had different distinctions.

Just as the Golden Empire, after establishing a formal political system, had continuously explored and improved its military system.

Generally speaking, apart from the Golden Empire’s currently several special independent battle units, the formal numbering of other imperial legions basically follows the naming convention of army type-unit type-sequence, marked for affiliation and function, with relatively clear organizational purposes and sequence.

For example, the Golden Empire’s Winter Hideaway City Garrison First Regiment is the local regular establishment for border defense.

Or the Golem Legion, named for its fixed armored regiment sequence, for ease of differentiation and deployment.

Although the Golem Legion is called a legion, it often attacks together with the empire’s land troops, thus often called Armored Infantry Company.

With such military reforms, the organizational strength of the Golden Empire’s legions has been elevated.

Besides the flags of the various imperial legions, Obilash also noticed the flag of the Elf Kingdom of the Western Continent, marked with a Tree of Life, indicating that the king of the Elf Kingdom had also arrived in the empire.

Before Obilash could take a closer look, two Adult Giant Dragons of different scale colors flew up to the city’s tower.

They were the Adult Female Golden Dragon Naloya and the Adult Silver Dragon Flo.

The Female Golden Dragon Naloya was as before, but the Adult Silver Dragon Flo still bore scars on her silvery scales from the Dragon Fury event, evidently not having removed these marks with magic.

For a vain Giant Dragon, this was quite unsightly, but Obilash knew why this Adult Silver Dragon did such.

“Did you convince them?” the Female Golden Dragon Naloya clied to the Ancestral Golden Dragon.

“No, they are as stubborn as you were before,” Ancestral Golden Dragon Obilash shook his head and laughed, “Now I somewhat understand the mindset of those Giant Dragons in the Gogomola Dragon Group.”

“Some Giant Dragons are worth saving, some can be saved, but some can only be suppressed with absolute violence, the deep-rooted ideology sometimes cannot be changed, only by completely destroying those stubborn individuals physically and mentally can it be done.”

“To be honest, if they weren’t my parents, I’d really be unable to resist giving them all a good beating!”

The Adult Silver Dragon Flo flapped her silver wings, spreading them like a human spreads their arms, and laughed, “Now you know how good Gogomola’s temper is!”

“Alas, it’s a pity Karon Gogomola’s benevolence is already a lost treasure in this world!”

Ancestral Golden Dragon Oblash also spread his wings and laughed loudly, “Forget it, let’s go, the everlasting legacy of kings lies in their jovial discourse,”

“We should go and witness the moment when the civilization created by the Giant Dragons rises formally in Aikania.”

Whoosh, the fierce wind howled as several enormous Metal Dragons skimmed low over the sky, flying towards the distance.

In that distance, the sun hung like a fiercely burning candle flame, and these Metal Dragons in the light of the sun were like moths rushing toward the candle flame, unstoppable and valiant.
