Wrong Flirt, Right Trouble: His Uncle Pulls Me Close

”Let me introduce myself. My name is Silas Blackwood. You’ve heard of the Blackwood Family of Lustre, right? Caleb Blackwood is my father, and I’m the future heir.”

Silas Blackwood was confident that flashing this identity would make any woman look at him twice.

Ivy Sherwood, however, did not. She just felt disgusted.

”Might I have the chance to buy you a drink, miss?”

”Move!”

Silas Blackwood didn’t move. Instead, he flashed what he thought was a charming smile. ”I don’t suppose you’re free this weekend, miss? My family has a natural hot spring. How about we enjoy it together?”

”If I’m not mistaken, isn’t your date still over there?”

’Wasn’t Silas so into Anna Nash? Is he already ditching her now?’

Unexpectedly, hearing Ivy Sherwood’s words only made Silas Blackwood smile more gleefully. ”How did you know my date was over there? Have you been secretly watching me? And now you’re playing hard to get?”

In Silas Blackwood’s eyes, there was no woman he couldn’t have. The woman before him was no exception.

”You’re sick!” Ivy Sherwood didn’t want to waste another breath on him.

Ivy Sherwood tried to leave, but Silas Blackwood grabbed her.

Holding Ivy Sherwood’s wrist, Silas Blackwood’s mind began to race. ’Her skin is so delicate,’ he thought, ’as smooth and tender as jade.’

”Let go!” Ivy Sherwood tried to yank her arm away but couldn’t break free.

She had thought Silas Blackwood was just disgusting, but she never imagined he was this much of a pervert.

”So what if I don’t? Go on, scream. If you attract a crowd, they’ll just think you’re the one trying to seduce me.” Silas Blackwood was utterly shameless.

After all, in this world, it was always easier to blame the woman.

’So beautiful, and in such a short skirt—what is she doing if not trying to seduce someone?’

’She claims to have no ulterior motives? I don’t buy it. Why else would she have just happened to appear right in front of me?’

”I don’t have any other intentions. Actually, I’ve seen you before. You might not believe this, but I fell in love with you the first time I laid eyes on you.”

”If I recall correctly, doesn’t Young Master Blackwood have a fiancée in addition to a girlfriend?” Ivy Sherwood said coldly.

”Oh, you mean her? She’s a hideous hag. How could she possibly compare to you? I feel sick just looking at her. She’s ugly but dreams big, wanting to marry me without taking a good look at whether she’s even worthy.”

The mere mention of Ivy Sherwood irritated Silas Blackwood. He wished he could break off the engagement with that woman immediately and have nothing more to do with her.

Ivy Sherwood’s expression grew colder and colder. As Silas Blackwood was in the middle of his tirade, she lifted her leg and stomped on his foot.

She was wearing high heels with a particularly thin stiletto. When it landed on the top of his foot, the pain made Silas Blackwood almost jump into the air.

”You! Miss, you’ve really got some personality. What’s your name? Can I have the chance to take you to dinner?” Silas Blackwood shouted, chasing after her with a limp.

He was like a piece of sticky candy she just couldn’t shake off.

Ivy Sherwood was getting really annoyed when she suddenly spotted a man on the phone over there.

”Un... Quentin Blackwood!” Ivy Sherwood called out Quentin Blackwood’s name.

Quentin Blackwood looked up in her direction.

Ivy Sherwood quickly ran to hide behind Quentin Blackwood, then pointed at Silas Blackwood. ”That’s your nephew, isn’t it? He’s harassing me!”

’That despicable Silas Blackwood will finally get what’s coming to him.’

Silas Blackwood froze. He looked at the man before him in terror, then meekly called out, ”Little Uncle.”

”What’s going on?” the man asked, his voice icy.

”Little Uncle, it’s nothing. She’s just joking with me. Come here, stop bothering my Little Uncle!” Silas Blackwood frantically tried to signal her with his eyes.

’If I offend Little Uncle, he won’t spare this woman.’

’Besides, does she really think Little Uncle will help her? He isn’t the type to meddle in other people’s business.’

”I don’t know him at all! He was trying to get me to go to a hot spring with him, and he even said I dressed like this to seduce him. What a joke! Take a look at yourself. Do I have any reason to seduce you?”

Silas Blackwood: ”!!!”

’What’s that supposed to mean? What’s wrong with the way I look?’

’I might not be as handsome as Little Uncle, but I’m still dashing and debonair.’

Quentin Blackwood’s indifferent gaze fell on Silas Blackwood, who felt his heart tighten and the hairs on his arms stand on end.

”Little Uncle, it’s not like that! Don’t listen to her nonsense. She was the one trying to seduce me! I didn’t give her the chance, so she got angry and embarrassed!” Silas Blackwood glared at Ivy Sherwood behind him.

Quentin Blackwood simply parted his thin lips. ”Get lost.”

”Little Uncle, I...” Silas Blackwood wanted to say more, but Quentin Blackwood’s glare was simply too terrifying, so he had no choice but to leave.

’It’s fine. She’s here tonight, so I can definitely find out who she is.’

’When that time comes, even if she flees to the ends of the earth, I’ll find her!’

Silas Blackwood scurried away dejectedly. Ivy Sherwood finally smiled. ”Thanks, handsome!”

Quentin Blackwood, however, frowned slightly. That ”handsome” sounded so familiar.

He was suddenly reminded of his first encounter with Ivy Sherwood. After waking up, she had stuffed two bills into his hand and said, ”Nice service, handsome.”

”Mm,” Quentin Blackwood grunted, then turned and continued his phone call as he walked away.

On the other end of the line was Quentin Blackwood’s secretary, Zane Linton. Quentin had just been giving him some instructions.

Zane Linton knew Quentin Blackwood well. President Blackwood was definitely not one to meddle in others’ affairs. In the past, he would have just walked away. But just now, he’d actually gone and helped a girl.

’I have to say, since returning to Lustre, President Blackwood seems to have developed a human touch.’

Ivy Sherwood moved to a dimmer area where few people went. Her gaze fell on Quentin Blackwood, and she suddenly felt that he wasn’t the cold and heartless person the rumors made him out to be.

’On the contrary, Little Uncle is quite the chivalrous type. He’s a good person!’

Meanwhile, Silas Blackwood, who had been chased away by Quentin Blackwood, was feeling particularly indignant. His gaze turned vicious. He had already asked around, but no one knew the woman’s name. All they knew was that she seemed to be a friend of Nina Scott’s.

But he remembered, wasn’t Nina Scott’s best friend Ivy Sherwood?

How could such a beautiful woman be associated with Ivy Sherwood? She and that ugly woman, Ivy Sherwood, were worlds apart!

Just thinking about Ivy Sherwood’s face was enough to make him want to throw up last night’s dinner.

But this woman was different. Just looking at her made Silas Blackwood burn with desire. He wanted nothing more than to drag her into bed right now.

’Could it be like last time? Will I turn all of Lustre upside down and still not find her?’

He refused to believe it. There was no woman that he, Silas Blackwood, couldn’t have!

Besides, he noticed that the woman’s gaze was fixed on Quentin Blackwood. ’Don’t tell me the one she wants to seduce is my Little Uncle. She must be dreaming!’

”Silas, where did you just go?” Anna Nash asked, returning to Silas Blackwood’s side.

Anna Nash spoke for a while before realizing Silas Blackwood hadn’t heard a word.

Following his gaze, she saw that he was staring at some woman. Anna Nash’s heart instantly tightened. She had just heard that Silas Blackwood was asking about a certain woman’s whereabouts, and she absolutely would not allow anyone to steal him from her.
