Chapter 850: Chapter 313 Planning and Guidance (Two-in-One Chapter)_3

And Duke Delam has a special obsession with Elves. He once caught an Elven wife in Mingster by chance two years ago.

It was that excellent performance that allowed him to receive a generous reward, greatly improving his power, thus enabling him to leap from being the captain of the Slave Capturing Team to becoming the Duke’s spokesperson in several branches.

This time, such an opportunity arises again.

If he were to give it up, he would naturally feel unwilling, making it somewhat difficult for Sam to make a decision at that moment.

The few team members beside him could, of course, see their leader’s hesitation.

But there’s a saying, doesn’t risk come with opportunity?

What comes without risk?

High risk means high reward.

”Boss, I have a suggestion,” the bald man said.

”Oh? Tell me,” Sam, as the team leader, had a commendable quality in that he was willing to listen to reasonable suggestions from his subordinates.

”Actually, our target is that Elf girl, meaning, as long as we find an opportunity to directly kidnap her, wouldn’t that be enough? Why do we have to confront them head-on?”

The bald man might seem like a tough brute, but the suggestion he offered was somewhat nuanced.

”You mean...” Sam instantly understood his intention.

Distract them with a feint in one direction and, after securing the Elf girl, directly leave Mingster.

”Exactly! Boss, we can split into two groups: one to hold off the opponent, the other to directly kidnap the Elf girl. Then we immediately leave Mingster. What could they possibly do to us?” another team member supported as his eyes sparkled with excitement.

”This... isn’t impossible. But who would go to divert or hold off this Rein?” Sam looked around at his subordinates and asked.

At once, everyone present hesitated, exchanging glances with one another.

”Well... I’m willing, just afraid my strength might not suffice and disrupt the boss’s plans,” the bald man rubbed his head, chuckled awkwardly, and said.

”For diverting that Rein, Commander, we don’t necessarily have to act ourselves. I suggest inviting Hansal to draw Rein away,” Garcia thought for a bit and said.

”Earth Dragon Knight Hansal?” Sam raised an eyebrow, instantly recalling someone.

”Yes, Commander.”

”Earth Dragon Knight Hansal, with his Earth Dragon mount beneath him, is extremely fast. Having him distract Rein is undoubtedly feasible. By then, we can directly kidnap the Elf girl.”

The Earth Dragon is a type of sub-dragon beast with relatively thin giant dragon bloodline. Although its strength doesn’t stand out among Dragon Descendants, it is nonetheless a Dragon Descendant.

Whether in strength or speed, it surpasses other fierce species beasts significantly.

Without the Earth Dragon beneath him, Hansal would merely be a Peak Knight, but with it, he’s Quasi-Legendary.

And among the Quasi-Legendary, he’s a rather formidable figure.

”But Earth Dragon Knight Hansal’s hiring costs aren’t low,” the bald man interjected.

”The cost is indeed high, but it’s nothing more than a slightly higher price. If he can join us, our risk will greatly reduce.”

After contemplating for a while, Sam nodded, saying, ”Alright, let’s proceed as planned, let’s invite Earth Dragon Knight Hansal over.”

Spending a bit but greatly reducing the risk is feasible!

”Yes, the other party is currently in Sava Province. Contacting him and having him come over would take at least four days,” Garcia added.

”Alright, four days then. Tomorrow, according to plan, we’ll visit Nome Province, and when we’re back, the other party should arrive in Mingster,” Sam nodded and said.

When Viery returned to Rein’s new residence again.

Upon entering the Training Room, he was taken aback.

Because at the center of the venue, Angus held a shield, defending tightly without any leaks, yet their commander Rein wielded a riding spear, either thrusting or lifting, leaving Angus no room for a counterattack.

”Is it really a Knight’s Lance?” Viery murmured to himself.

”But just getting the hang of it and being able to push Angus to this extent? That’s too exaggerated!”

Since he met Rein, it was the first time he saw him use a Knight’s Lance.

Moreover, it was clear that there was still a slightly awkward touch when Rein wielded the Knight’s Lance, clearly showing it was recently acquired.

Yet despite this, he was still pushing Angus back steadily.

It made Viery somewhat puzzled.

In fact, it’s not just Neoro; Angus in the center of the venue didn’t understand either.

Clearly, Rein’s riding spear moves still had a touch of awkwardness. Whenever Angus saw a chance and tried to counterattack, Rein quickly adjusted his position, preventing him from reaching a suitable range for attacking with the Knight’s Longsword.

This unpredictable change in distance, between far and near, made Angus so frustrated that he almost wanted to spit blood.

”Stop! Commander, I need to rest, can’t go on,” Angus shouted.

”Alright, well done.”

”Commander, your control over the sense of distance was truly agonizing. Just when I was about to attack, I realized the distance was too far to reach, and hesitating lost me the counterattack opportunity.”

”This is actually a secret technique called ’Shadow Step’ that I grasped when practicing with the Dagger a few days ago.”

”Utilizing Original Force combined with leg power in a special footwork for twice quick movement forward and backward over short distances...” Rein shared with his team without holding back.
