Chapter 801: Chapter 301: Improvement and Direction (Two-in-One Chapter)_2

“Hey, these are puppet parts, such precise craftsmanship.” Dibbes’ eyes lit up as he gently stroked the inside of the metal prosthetic with his finger, observing its internal structure, and said.

“This level of craftsmanship should be made by a master in Puppetry Technique, but I’m not particularly knowledgeable about it.”

“Master, I just went to the library, and I noticed that our branch here seems to lack specific blueprints or books related to Puppetry Technique; most of the information is quite general.” Rein asked.

“Yes, that’s correct. From what I understand, detailed information in this area is likely only available in the Imperial City or the Construction School, where masters proficient in Puppetry Technique are usually found. Perhaps Lord Reine could inquire there.”

“Construction School?”

Rein immediately thought of the ‘Bixiu Gouzhuang School,’ which was noted as the supplier when he purchased the Metal Morphing Spell.

“Yes, the Construction School. The Construction School researches puppet constructs and other types of witchcraft constructs.” Dibbes nodded and said.

“What about this Crystal Stone?” Rein took out the slightly small white Crystal Stone from within the metal prosthetic and asked.

“Oh, this is a refined Energy Baryte. The naturally chaotic Crystal Stone is purified through a special purification Witch Array, turning it into attribute-less Crystal Stones, thus expanding their application range.”

“I see.” Rein nodded.

Since seeing ‘Iron Man’s’ metal prosthetic, Rein had some new thoughts regarding the Metal Morphing Spell and the Metal Series Wizards.

He really wanted to understand the knowledge related to Puppetry Technique, but under the current situation, it seemed he might only have the opportunity by joining the Bixiu Gouzhuang School or visiting the Imperial City.

He still had to think it through carefully….

Before leaving the exchange hall, Rein replenished some Hardened Fine Gold Ingots and Magic Silver Ingots and redeemed a set of Extraordinary Battle Technique ‘Shadow Spear Throwing Technique’ regarding the Throwing Spear.

Afterward, Rein walked towards his residence.

As for why he chose the Throwing Spear type Extraordinary Battle Technique?

This was mainly because during his encounter with the Magma Giant, a large creature with a body covered in scorching magma, he once again felt the deficiency in his long-range attack abilities.

It’s not that the bow is ineffective.

But the tiny arrows cause extremely limited damage to giant creatures weighing tens or even close to hundreds of tons and standing as tall as nine meters.

They’re really not much different from toothpicks.

But throwing spears are different!

A heavy long spear, if thrown at high speed, can cause considerable damage to giant creatures.

And don’t forget, Rein’s innate wizardry is ‘Metal Morphing Spell.’

This means he can adjust the weight and length of the spear in his hand anytime to enhance the power of the Throwing Spear.

There’s also another more important reason.

It’s the prerequisite for the Epic Level Profession ‘King of Thousand Blades’ — ‘Second, master nine different secret techniques.’

Rein has already achieved (5/9), just four more to go.

Upon switching to Warhammer Wizard, Rein acquired the ‘Soul-shattering Warhammer’ as a core skill with immense power.

As the Epic Level Profession King of Thousand Blades, once successfully switched, Rein believes his strength will see a significant leap.

Among the five prerequisite conditions, conditions one and four have already been met, and condition five — the requirement for attribute points — currently poses no problem.

It’s condition two ‘master nine different secret techniques’ and condition three ‘physical second-order limit break value 90% and above’, which still require considerable time and energy to accomplish.

Rein’s current physical second-order limit break value has reached 52%, and it won’t be long before he steps into the realm of Peak Knight.

The rapid progress is mainly due to two reasons: continuous attribute point allocation, with strength, agility, and physique reaching 46 points or more, and strength reaching 48 points.

Additionally, the improvement in the quality of his breathing technique.

Even under the subtle effects of these few days, Rein’s physical second-order limit break value has increased by nearly two percentage points.

Therefore, considering this, ‘King of Thousand Blades’ as an Epic Level Profession, the job switch difficulty is not particularly daunting, naturally making it Rein’s top choice.

As for witchcraft, after raising the defense-oriented ‘Metal Barrier’ to LV12, it can be set aside unless other witchcraft of significant compatibility is encountered.

Rein opened a pale yellow sheepskin scroll, which was “Shadow Spear Throwing Technique.”

After thoroughly browsing and studying the “Shadow Spear Throwing Technique” from beginning to end, Rein briefly closed his eyes contemplating earnestly.

With the foundation of five different categories of Extraordinary Battle Techniques, Rein didn’t find it especially difficult to comprehend Shadow Spear Throwing Technique.

After merely skimming through it a few times, system prompts appeared:

[You have studied the Shadow Spear Throwing Technique, and related understanding has increased!]

[You have comprehended a new skill — Shadow Spear Throwing Technique]

[Your skill Shadow Spear Throwing Technique has improved, Experience +1]

A new icon lit up among the dozen or so skill icons at the bottom of the Weapon Master (Legendary) profession panel.

Shadow Spear Throwing Technique LV1 (1/100).

The icon pattern is simple: a strong silhouette with legs widely apart, left arm extended slantingly upwards, right arm gripping a long spear, in a spinning throw motion.
