Chapter 192 – 144: An Unstoppable Force (Two-in-One Mega Chapter)_2

Mother Emma was taken aback, seemingly recalling the scene, and couldn’t help but nod.

“Rein, regarding this matter, your mother and I will follow your arrangements!” Father Old Rein finally managed to get these words out after listening for a long time, but that settled the matter.

“Brother, when are we moving?” Sister Bo He, who was standing nearby, curiously asked.

For a child, as long as the family is together, moving to a new home is actually a joyous occasion.

“I’ve already asked Matteo to look into it. If all goes well, we can move by the afternoon. Father, Mother, you should pack up in the morning, I need to go to the blacksmith’s shop for a while.”

“After I come back, we’ll move.” Rein said indulgently as he fondly patted his sister Bo He’s head.

“Mhm, then I’ll help Sister Anna pick the winter rape… It’s a pity, they haven’t grown up yet.” Bo He recalled the winter rape she and Anna had planted in the yard, obviously reluctant to leave them.

…

After discussing with his family, Rein then went upstairs and mentioned the moving plans to Anna and Lagaray, and both women readily agreed.

For Anna, being with Rein was naturally a good thing, and she had no reason to object.

And Lagaray… Find your next read on Novgo

She had no house in Flashgold Town, so naturally, she could only follow Rein or Anna.

After contacting regarding the moving plans, Rein called Lagaray to go to Boris’s blacksmith shop, carrying a large bag of metal fragments from the automatons originating from the Ironworks.

That was the rare material Lagaray had spoken of—Hardened Essence Gold.

However, just as they stepped outside, Lagaray suddenly stopped Rein, frowning and said, “Rein, I might have overlooked a problem, and it might not be easy to resolve.”

“This Hardened Essence Gold is hard to smelt, it requires a very high temperature, and if we use the same small town blacksmith shop as last time, I don’t think I can smelt it.”

“Hmm?” Rein frowned upon hearing this.

That was indeed a problem.

But the next second, an idea flashed through Rein’s mind.

“Maybe I have a solution.”

“I’ll try it in a while, and if that doesn’t work, there’s another place that has a high furnace, we can go there.” Rein said with a smile.

Lagaray looked at Rein and, rather than expressing doubt, she nodded trustingly.

It seemed that the words of a strong individual carried higher credibility.

Soon, they arrived at the blacksmith shop.

As soon as Rein entered the blacksmith shop, he noticed that several apprentices hadn’t been here for a while.

Seeing Rein enter, Boris showed a happy smile, but his expression changed when he saw Lagaray, and said:

“Rein, long time no see! You didn’t come today to use my shop again, did you?”

“Uncle Boris, you guessed right. Today we’re going to be a bother again.” Rein said with a smile.

Boris showed a wry smile, turned to his apprentices, and bellowed, “You rascals, you should thank Rein, you get another day off, scatter!”

After Boris chased the apprentices away, he walked up to Rein and whispered, “Rein, I’ve heard that a new deputy sheriff has arrived in town, and they say he looks a lot like you, have you heard about it?”

Upon hearing Boris’s words, Lagaray couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

“That… Uncle Boris, that’s actually me!” Rein said, slightly embarrassed.

“Huh? It’s you?” Boris looked Rein over suspiciously, patted his shoulder, and added:

“Don’t joke with your uncle, but it’s good that you have that ambition!”

Rein was taken aback and couldn’t help shaking his head in resignation.

Then, it seemed Boris thought of something, locked the blacksmith shop’s main door and hung up a ‘Closed’ sign.

Afterward, he came back and eagerly said to Rein, “So, what are we forging today? I can help.”

Having said that, he frequently glanced at Lagaray by Rein’s side.

“This… Uncle Boris, today’s forging probably can’t have spectators.” Rein glanced at Lagaray as he spoke.

“Huh? Oh… alright!” Boris, assuming it was Lagaray’s wish, said with slight regret.

However, when Rein handed Boris a small bag of gold coins, his face quickly lit up with a smile.

After Boris left, only Lagaray and Rein were left in the blacksmith shop.

“Rein, you just said you had a way to smelt this?” Lagaray pointed at the large bag of Hardened Essence Gold fragments, curiously asking.

Rein nodded.

“Yeah, you handle the smelting, and I’ll go make a clay mold for the two-handed warhammer.”

“Okay, I’ll give it a try.”

“Right, Rein, what style of warhammer do you want?” It seemed Lagaray remembered something, and she turned back and asked just as she was stepping away.

“What are the usual styles of hammers?”

Rein suddenly realized that he didn’t need to stick to the previous style of the Bronze Warhammer. His previous bronze warhammer had flat sides on the hammerhead, primarily relying on tremendous shock impact to damage the enemy.

“Generally speaking, knights use Morningstar Hammers or spiked warhammers more often.” Lagaray thought for a moment and said.

“Morningstar Hammer?” Rein couldn’t immediately recall this style of hammer.

However, he was familiar with the spiked warhammer; one side of the hammer was flat, and the other side had spikes, designed specifically for armor penetration.
