Warhammer Divine Throne

In the eyes of the peasants, the Druids of the Nature Church are enthusiasts of nature and trees. They often appear as veterinarians, showing positive involvement in helping farmers treat diseased oxen and other tasks. They warn villagers that there are fierce beasts and bandits in the forest, advising them not to enter or cut down the forest.

The villagers, believing wholeheartedly, often heed their words without realizing that these fierce beasts are raised by the Nature Church and that many bandits are also sponsored by them. The fundamental purpose of these people is to protect the forest.

By any means necessary.

One day, the truth will be revealed, and the Nature Church thus becomes an unwelcome presence to the Lord Nobility.

”The forest is crying, its body is decaying continuously, and the malicious Chaos Energy is corroding its heart. Only within the deepest part remains the purest small piece of forest. I need to find a way to take out its seed; as long as I get the seed, there will be hope for the future.” Elldrad used the Magic Staff to illuminate the interior of the forest. A gentle, emerald green light shot out from the tip of the staff, and wherever it shone, the black Chaos Energy could not hide. Whenever the emerald light dispelled a little Chaos Energy, the sickly growth of the trees receded, and new buds appeared on the tree branches.

”My Lord, save this corroded land. I am already powerless.” Elldrad sighed deeply. The northern Nord Kingdom is the land closest to the Chaos Wasteland and is the most severely eroded. The Nature Church has made considerable efforts for this.

”...who’s there?” The sound of branches swaying came from the distant forest. Elldrad instinctively turned around, only to find no trace of an enemy: ”Unwilling to come out, are you?”

Emerald energy gathered on the Druid’s body, then transferred to his Magic Staff: ”Then, I will make you have to come out!”

”Boom!” The wooden staff pressed down on the ground, and a green wave of energy surrounded the end of the Magic Staff. Ripples appeared on the dry ground, rapidly spreading towards the origin of the sound.

Fury of the Forest, Fourth Ring Divine Skill.

”Found you!” Elldrad shouted angrily: ”Citizens of the forest, fight!”

Thorns and branches rose from the ground, firmly binding the uninvited guest.

Its appearance emerged before Elldrad. The uninvited guest stood nearly four meters tall, with four giant horns standing high in the air, pieces of iron armor deeply embedded in its sturdy body, arms thicker than tree trunks wielding two War Axes, stained with blood and covered in many notches, the armor on its chest bristled with spikes, and its massive cow eyes filled with a blood-red hue.

Each of its breaths exhaled large clouds of white mist, causing the earth to tremble. Even though its body was wrapped in branches and thorns, only cruelty and bloodlust could be seen on it.

”The Eight Pillar Emblem of the Blood God?! You are?!” A deep chill spread through Elldrad, and looking at the beastman in front of him, he had already connected the dots.

”Is it... human? No... a bear? Neither.” The one who came faced the Druid, its scarlet eyes filled with fanaticism: ”Not the target... a sacrifice! Fight!”

With that, the muscles on the uninvited guest’s body suddenly swelled, and the branches and thorns binding it shattered together.

”Filth! Today I shall purify you in the name of my Lord Tal!”
