Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 241: The Continuation of the Plan

Sitting dejectedly in the living room, Liu Yiru pinched her arm. The pain brought her to a stark realization—a cruel reality—that what had just happened was not a dream.

Oh God, what just happened to me? Why did that damned coincidence occur? Liu Yiru held her head in her hands, feeling distressed. It wasnʼt that she disliked the sensation; in fact, it was the best experience of her life.

She had never felt so comfortable, and deep down, she craved it every day.

But why did it have to be him?

If it were any other man, she would have gladly accepted it. Yet, she could never fall for another man.

The only man who could make her heart race was someone she could never be with.

Although that coincidence had shattered her resolve, she had decided to bury it deep in her heart as a beautiful memory.

This dilemma seemed like a never-ending loop in Liu Yiruʼs mind, causing her immense pain.

Why was her life so bitter?

Was she doomed to a lifetime of loneliness? In the past, she wouldnʼt have felt lonely, surrounded by her five sensible children. But now, things were different.

She had truly fallen for him, and her body was completely infatuated. Yet, he was someone who could never give her happiness.

He belonged to Lin Ling and would eventually leave her.

Just thinking about it made Liu Yiruʼs heart ache.

She didnʼt want him to leave, even if it meant never experiencing that pleasure again.

She would be content just having him by her side, allowing her to take care of him every day.

But even this small wish seemed impossible to fulfill.

As Liu Yiru was lost in her torment, the door to Ye Feiʼs bedroom suddenly opened.

To her astonishment, Ye Fei walked out, yawning, and sat down beside her.

”Mom, why did I sleep for so long? And you didnʼt wake me up?”

Ye Feiʼs voice brought Liu Yiru back to reality.

She realized her son was truly awake.

”Ye Fei, youʼre awake?!” Liu Yiruʼs joy temporarily pushed aside her inner pain as she looked at her still groggy son.

”Yeah,” Ye Fei said, scratching his head.

”Why did I sleep until noon? And I still feel so tired.”

Liu Yiru realized that Ye Fei had no idea he had been unconscious for a long time.

He thought it was just the second day since he went to bed.

Not knowing whether his body had fully recovered, Liu Yiru decided not to reveal the truth yet.

Instead, she asked, ”Do you feel anything wrong with your body?”

”Wrong?” Ye Fei stretched his arms and clenched his fists, shaking his head. ”No, nothingʼs wrong. Itʼs just like before. But, Mom, you know what? I had a really strange dream while sleeping.”

”What... what kind of dream?” Liu Yiruʼs heart tightened.

Had he been conscious during that moment, and simply regarded it as a dream like she did?

”I dreamed that I became strong through a special device and that worthless cultivation method. I felt incredibly powerful,” Ye Fei said with a sheepish smile.

”Maybe I just wanted to become strong so badly that I had that dream.”

”Do you think everything you experienced was a dream?”

Although Ye Feiʼs dream wasnʼt the one Liu Yiru had in mind, it didnʼt bring her relief.

Instead, she felt even more anxious.

”Yeah, wasnʼt it a dream?” Ye Fei replied.

”But that dream felt so real. If I didnʼt wake up still feeling weak, I would have thought it was real.”

Liu Yiru felt a bitter pang in her heart.

Had the spiritual deviation not only caused her son to lose his powers but also affected his mind? Though she wanted to tell him that what happened wasnʼt a dream, she held back, suppressing her pain.

”You might be sick. Go back to your room and rest. Iʼll call Auntie Dongfang to check on you.”

”Okay,” Ye Fei nodded obediently and returned to his room. Liu Yiru quickly picked up the phone and called Dongfang Ruolan.

Within half an hour, Dongfang Ruolan rushed over, eager to ask as soon as she entered, ”Yiru, you mean Ye Fei is awake?”

”Yes,” Liu Yiru confirmed.

”Why? Shouldnʼt he have woken up so soon?”

”Not necessarily, but how many times did you ʼtreatʼ him every day?” Dongfang Ruolan questioned.

Liu Yiruʼs face turned slightly red. She felt embarrassed but knew it was important for Ye Feiʼs health, and she was talking to a close friend.

After hesitating for a moment, she said, ”Initially, it was once a day, but then I saw how intense his condition was, so I increased it to twice a day.”

”Twice?” Dongfang Ruolan frowned. ”Thatʼs impossible. His condition was severe. To wake up within ten days, he needed at least ten sessions a day.”

”Ten times?!” Liu Yiru was taken aback. ”Are you trying to kill him?”

Dongfang Ruolan smiled slightly.

”Of course not. His current condition is an excess of yang energy. Doing this wouldnʼt harm him; in fact, it would make him feel more comfortable. But how could he wake up with only two sessions a day? Itʼs strange.”

Liu Yiru was left speechless. She thought to herself that if she had known earlier, she could have helped him ten or twenty times a day, and he would have woken up much sooner, avoiding todayʼs mishap.

Then it hit her. Ye Feiʼs illness was due to an excess of yang energy, and when she climaxed earlier, he was still deeply inside her.

Could his waking up be because he was affected by her yin energy?

The more she thought about it, the more convinced she became.

However, she would never tell anyone about it. Instead, she said nervously, ”Who knows? Maybe his body adjusted itself. His cultivation method is quite extraordinary.”

”Oh, thatʼs possible,” Dongfang Ruolan nodded gently.

Seeing that Dongfang Ruolan believed her explanation, Liu Yiru breathed a sigh of relief.

But then she remembered how Ye Fei seemed to have lost his memory earlier and shared this with Dongfang Ruolan, asking, ”Is it possible that Ye Feiʼs brain was damaged?”

”Of course not,” Dongfang Ruolan smiled.

”He just slept for too long and canʼt distinguish between reality and dreams. If you tell him the truth, or let him recover for a couple of days, heʼll be fine.”

”Thatʼs a relief,” Liu Yiru said, but then Dongfang Ruolanʼs next words made her anxious again.

”But have you thought about this? Ye Fei has always wanted to become strong. If he finds out that he lost his strength after gaining it, can he handle the blow?”

”What should we do? Is there any way to restore his original strength?” Liu Yiru asked urgently.

”I did find a method yesterday,” Dongfang Ruolan said.

”Thereʼs a plant called Bingling Grass that can suppress this excessive yang energy. If we can find Bingling Grass and have Ye Fei take it, not only will he recover quickly, but his strength will also improve.”

”But where can we find this? Or does anyone have it? Iʼd pay any price! Iʼd even give him the entire Liu Group if it means he gets better!” In Liu Yiruʼs eyes, ten Liu Groups couldnʼt compare to Ye Feiʼs well-being.

Dongfang Ruolan smiled bitterly.

”If someone had it for sale, I would have told you yesterday. I only read about it in an ancient medical book. I donʼt even know if it exists, and even if it does, no one would risk collecting it.”

”Why not?” Liu Yiru was puzzled.

”It sounds like a valuable thing. Why wouldnʼt anyone collect it?”

”It is valuable, but only for Ye Fei. Others would probably avoid it,” Dongfang Ruolan explained. ”Think about it. Nowadays, men would love to have more yang energy. Who would willingly take something to reduce it?”

Liu Yiru fell silent, recalling Ye Feiʼs intense demands. Wasnʼt that the kind of constitution every man desired? If they had it, who would give it up?

But since this was about Ye Feiʼs future, Liu Yiru couldnʼt help but ask, ”Does the book mention where Bingling Grass grows?”

”It doesnʼt specify a location,” Dongfang Ruolan said.

”But it does mention that Bingling Grass is an extremely yin and cold plant, usually found on the shaded sides of mountains with abundant spiritual energy.”

”Changbai Mountain?” Liu Yiru immediately thought of a place.

Changbai Mountain, located in the northeastern part of Long Country, was known for its ginseng and was one of the coldest places in the country.
