Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 183 - Chapter183: A Fairyland on Earth (2)

Although the cave seemed small on the surface, Ye Fei realized after entering that this tiny cave was surprisingly large. Even when he walked upright, there was no inconvenience at all.

This strange situation made Ye Fei even more curious, so he simply walked further into the cave. When he had walked about fifty meters, the light shining in from the entrance had completely disappeared, and it was pitch black here.

Ye Fei had to take out the powerful flashlight he carried with him, clamped it with a branch, held it more than two meters away from himself, and then turned it on. The situation here was very strange, and he didnʼt dare to be careless at all.

By holding the flashlight far away from himself, if something attacked him by following the light, he could react as quickly as possible.

But what made Ye Fei strange was that he had walked in this cave for no less than two hours, but nothing had happened. And this cave seemed to have no end at all. Although his traveling speed was not very fast, if it was calculated by the straight-line distance, he might have already gone beyond this virgin forest.

Just when Ye Fei was about to run out of patience, this seemingly straight cave finally changed. It began to slope downward gradually.

After walking a bit further, the slope became steeper and almost vertical. Fortunately, it was Ye Fei. If it were someone else, they might have fallen by now.

Although Ye Fei could still walk with difficulty by using both his hands and feet at this time, it was still somewhat challenging.

However, this only further stimulated his competitive spirit, and he was determined to figure out this place. So he simply stopped controlling his body and let himself slide down the smooth cave wall, only occasionally using the protrusions to give himself a boost so that he wouldnʼt get hurt when he reached the bottom.

This sliding took another fifteen or sixteen minutes before Ye Fei saw a patch of light below. He couldnʼt help but be amazed. He must have gone dozens of miles underground by now. But how could there be light in such a deep place?

Finally, with all his doubts, Ye Fei landed and continued to walk towards the place where the light was shining. Soon he walked out of this strange cave.

After adjusting to the relatively dazzling light, Ye Fei looked around and his mouth opened wide.

”A fairyland on earth!”

Perhaps this was the only word in his mind to describe this place. It seemed like a small valley, with mountain walls that couldnʼt be seen to the top on all sides.

The valley was filled with a faint mist, and there was no sun in the sky above. He had no idea where the light came from.

Under the cover of that faint mist, the already unusually bright and colorful flowers and plants here looked even more dreamily beautiful, and the various small beasts running around everywhere in the valley that he had never seen before added some vitality to the place.

Could there be legendary cultivators in this world?

And was this the cave of a cultivator? With such doubts, Ye Fei wandered around the valley.

But soon he was disappointed because, like the center of the forest, there was no sign of human presence there.

And Ye Fei believed that even if there were cultivators, there couldnʼt be any trace of human activity at all.

It seemed that this place was formed naturally.

This discovery made Ye Fei a bit disappointed.

Although the spiritual energy of heaven and earth here was many times stronger than outside, and some spirit fruits only existed in legends in the valley, practicing internal energy here would be much better than outside.

But all of this was somewhat useless to him because even if the spiritual energy of heaven and earth here was thicker, it was not as fast as the improvement from dual cultivation, even with the effect of those spirit fruits.

After finding that this place was not of much use to him, Ye Fei also lost interest. He simply walked to the edge of the valley and wanted to climb up from there to see what this place was, because before coming here, he had studied the map of this area, but he had never heard of such a small valley.

Gathering his energy, Ye Fei jumped more than ten meters high and then used the mountain wall to give himself a boost and continued to jump upward.

But what horrified him was that after ascending dozens of meters like this, he felt his body becoming heavier. And the higher he went, the more severe this feeling became.

After struggling to reach a height of more than a hundred meters, he no longer had the strength to lift his body, which seemed to weigh several tons, any higher.

Under such circumstances, Ye Fei had no choice but to come back down.

But he was extremely astonished in his heart. He couldnʼt understand what was so strange about this place, and at the same time, he was secretly worried. If the way he came from was also like this, wouldnʼt he be trapped here for the rest of his life?

Thinking of this possibility, Ye Fei dared not delay. He hurriedly returned to the cave, walked to the place where he had landed, and leaped up.

To his relief, there was no such strangeness as in the valley. He used the cave wall for leverage again and again, and there was no obstacle even when he reached the sloping path.

With this guarantee, Ye Fei was not in such a hurry to leave. He jumped down again. No one had been here before except him.

Although the spiritual energy of heaven and earth here was somewhat useless for him, this scenery was unique in the world.

If he brought his relatives here to have fun when he had free time in the future, it would be a nice enjoyment.

So he decided to explore carefully to make sure there was no danger here at all.
