Urban Seduction: Housewives Club

Chapter 118: A Hint of Doubt

Unfortunately, the elegant atmosphere was shattered by a burst of noise. A group of young men were gathered around a table in the center of the hall, shouting loudly. It was hard to tell what they were up to. Ye Fei recognized almost all of them—they were the same people Ye Yu had introduced him to at the Qiu Feng Groupʼs cocktail party. Ye Fei didnʼt have a single good thing to say about them. They were not only up to no good but also had worse manners than street thugs, as evidenced by the way they turned such a nice place into a chaotic mess.

As soon as Ye Fei and Ye Yu entered, someone with sharp eyes spotted them and called out, ”Brother Yu, Ye Fei, youʼre finally here! The guys have been waiting for ages.”

”What are you guys playing?” Ye Yu asked with a smile, eyeing their antics. ”It looks like some sort of competition. I hope youʼre not gambling here. Thatʼs not allowed.”

”No, no, of course not,” Zhang Yu chimed in. He had met Ye Fei a few days earlier and felt more familiar with him than the others. He grabbed Ye Feiʼs arm and said, ”Come on, Ye Fei. We found something fun. Check out how Iʼm beating these guys.”

Ye Fei followed Zhang Yu to the table, where he saw more than a dozen transparent, narrow glass tubes. Inside each tube, a small black object was crawling forward at different speeds. ”What is this?” Ye Fei asked.

”Ants we caught outside,” Zhang Yu explained. ”Weʼre racing them to see which one reaches the end first. The fastest one wins, and the rest lose.”

Ye Fei was speechless. It seemed these rich kids were really bored—racing ants was their idea of fun.

Ye Yu, however, seemed used to it and asked, ”No prize for the winner?”

”Of course there is,” Zhang Yu replied. ”But itʼs small. The loser pays the winner ten thousand yuan each time. Just for entertainment.”

Ye Fei was taken aback. These guys really didnʼt treat money like money. In families like Ye Feiʼs and Ye Yuʼs, ten thousand yuan wasnʼt much, but most of these guys were sons of high-ranking officials. For them, ten thousand yuan was a lot. Many of them had no real income and were mostly idle, even a few were still college students. Yet they gambled like this without a second thought. Where did they get the money? That was anyoneʼs guess.

”Pitiful dads!” Ye Fei couldnʼt help but feel sorry for the fathers of these so-called ”rich second generations.” If someone caught wind of this, their dadsʼ positions would be in serious jeopardy.

But these spoiled rich kids, who had grown up in luxury, had no clue about that. One of them said, ”Brother Yu, Ye Fei, join us. Weʼve got plenty of ants. Pick one.”

”No, thanks. Iʼve got some things to arrange,” Ye Yu said with a smile. ”Ye Fei, stay here and have some fun. Iʼll go make those arrangements for you.”

”Sure, sure!” Ye Fei nodded excitedly, as if afraid that the beauty he was promised would slip away. He urged, ”Go ahead, Brother Yu.”

Seeing Ye Feiʼs eagerness, Ye Yu felt even more triumphant. He nodded and headed upstairs. After watching him go, Ye Fei turned back to the group and said, ”Hey, guys, can I join in?”

”Absolutely!” they all agreed eagerly. Someone grabbed a box from nearby and placed it in front of Ye Fei. ”Pick one, Ye Fei. By the way, whatʼs Brother Yu arranging for you?”

Ye Fei glanced at the box filled with dozens of ants, wrinkled his brow slightly, and randomly picked one, placing it into an empty glass tube. ”Nothing much. Maybe Brother Yu just wants to set up something special for me since itʼs my first time here,” he replied. Although he was playing the role of a spoiled rich kid, he didnʼt want to reveal what Ye Yu was really up to. After all, he was the legitimate heir of the Ye family, and the familyʼs reputation couldnʼt afford any more damage.

Fortunately, the others were just making small talk. For them, as long as they had food and fun every day, nothing else mattered. In other words, they were the real parasites of society.

Their game was simple: put the ants in the tubes and try to make them crawl forward. Whenever an ant tried to turn back, they would tap the tube with a small stick until the ant was scared into turning around.

After understanding the rules, Ye Fei played along, pretending to be really interested.

Meanwhile, Ye Yu went upstairs, looked around to make sure no one was around, and then entered a room. He had come up here to meet the beauty he had lured here through a mix of intimidation and deception. He had kept this plan extremely secret, even from his usual cronies, because his stepfather hated anything that involved lust getting in the way of business. He allowed Ye Yu to do almost anything else, but not this. So Ye Yu had to keep it quiet.

In the room at that moment, a woman in her early thirties was seated, her expression tinged with a hint of nervousness and fear, yet this did nothing to detract from her beauty. Her shoulder-length black hair was casually tied back, revealing an oval-shaped face, large almond-shaped eyes, and slightly upturned corners that added a touch of coquettish charm.

Combined with her high bridge nose, small mouth, and skin that looked as if it could be popped by a gentle touch, these features formed an almost perfect, delicate face. The only imperfection was that her lips were slightly fuller, which only enhanced her sensuality.

Such a beauty, coupled with her pitiable demeanor, would likely captivate any man who laid eyes on her. Contrasting with her vulnerable expression, however, was her extremely well-endowed figure.

She was dressed in rather loose, casual loungewear, but on her, the clothes seemed almost too tight. This was because her ample bosom created significant protrusions, stretching the fabric into two noticeable bulges. The slightly low neckline revealed a strikingly deep cleavage that could easily mesmerize anyone who looked.

Perhaps due to her diligent skincare regimen, despite her age, her waist hadnʼt thickened like that of many women; instead, it remained as slender as it was in her youth. Seated as she was, her already plump and generous posterior appeared even more rounded and substantial. Her legs, concealed by the loose pants, didnʼt reveal their contours, but one thing was certain—they were extremely long. Her delicate feet were also hidden inside a pair of casual cloth slippers, obscuring their true appearance.

Even so, her beauty was nothing short of exquisite. It was no wonder that Ye Yu had gone to such great lengths to possess her, only to end up inadvertently leaving her to Ye Fei.
