Three Towers Game

Thus, everyone unlocked new options.

This could be an even richer reward than a lifetime extension of +2 for everyone, it is a whole new chapter.

”What is a heart-searching reward?” Wen Xishu looked at the black Deceitful Head.

The black Deceitful Head replied with a smile:

”It removes traditional rewards such as resources, facilities, items, and factions. Instead, it’s a special reward unlocked through a series of questions and answers that only you know...”

”Everything is in the Q&A, you might end up with a sequence, or an item, or a super abundant resource? Or perhaps an extremely mystical facility.”

”However, most likely, you will only obtain one of these types of rewards.”

”But what is certain is that this one reward is more worthwhile than all previous multiple rewards combined.”

Wen Xishu thoroughly understood now.

Traditional rewards were anything and everything, levels, sequence slots, item slots, resources, facilities, skills, sequences...

It’s like you gain a certain number of points, but these points are averaged out or not very evenly spent on redeeming all rewards.

While heart-searching rewards, based on your Q&A performance, might use all your points to purchase an exaggeratedly point-consuming super reward.

”Many rare sequences can only be acquired through heart-searching.”

”The more problems you encounter, the more abundant the rewards. Generally speaking, only achieving Level 5 completion can initiate heart-searching.”

”But everyone will know when heart-searching is initiated, and that counts as a form of encouragement. Returning to the Bunker, surely your fame will grow.”

Wen Xishu pondered, it seems not many can initiate heart-searching...

In the Bunker, those who achieve Level 5 completion are few and far between.

But overall, it’s good.

The black Deceitful Head continued:

”And the higher the completion level, the more problems you encounter.”

”At Level 7 completion, there will be at least seven questions.”

The black Deceitful Head opened a door.

It was a door floating in the room, in the Land of Reception, where clocks and doors naturally existed.

Wen Xishu noticed for the first time...

Some doors were locked.

This door, opened, engraved with a whirlpool pattern, was locked before it was opened.

”Good luck, and I hope you can tell me what you ultimately obtained.”

The first person to seek their heart made Wen Xishu somewhat excited.

This mechanism, can it reveal some of the secrets of the Three Towers?

Wen Xishu eventually walked in, completely swallowed up...

The black Deceitful Head said:

”Honestly, I still prefer the old way, sob sob sob sob sob.”

”Always feel like the new mechanism snatched my rice bowl.”

...

...

In the chaotic black space, what Wen Xishu felt was surprisingly not cold.

It was a comfortable warmth.

But even before he had a chance to enjoy this comfort and warmth, he immediately saw a sharp question.

[Chen Ming’s death has caused Ghost City to lose its past protection, do you think this is a good thing?]

Wen Xishu thought for a moment and said:

”Things are never truly good, only relatively good.”

”Ghosts are just another type of monster, moreover, who has the right to judge others?”

[You bestowed freedom upon the flock, they are free from judgment, but how do you know the flock needs this freedom?]

”I don’t know, but one is chronic extinction, letting all goodness turn to evil, the other is experiencing pain, but possibly surviving in pain, I choose survival. Besides, everything now corresponds to the future.”

[Do you think the meaning of changing the future is more important than the present?]

”The situation in the future can reflect and tell us whether our current actions are right or not. Ghost City full of evil spirits, Aquarius controlling good and evil is the result in the future, this process may be like boiling a frog in warm water, but it is wrong.”

”I’m not sure I’m right, but ultimately I can’t let error perpetuate.”

[How do you view right and wrong?]

”It’s unclear, many times I hope to choose the more difficult path, the one that I can see benefits humanity and the world in the long run.”

[If there are other Chen Ming, Zhang Ming, Li Ming in the future, how would you hope to deal with them?]

”I hope I can confidently think through a perfect answer, have a greater margin for error.”

[What do you mean by margin for error?]

”Personal strength. I want to become stronger.”

Wen Xishu certainly remembered, the Q&A should not completely follow the other party’s questions.

One must proactively express one’s needs.

The next is the seventh question, possibly the last question.

[Strength consists of many components, when facing a powerful opponent, do you desire the arrival of allies, or do you hope for the opponent’s mistake?]

”Sorry, that’s too reliant on luck, of course, it’d be great if the opponent makes mistakes, but I won’t pin my hopes on that, as for allies...”

”If they’re weaker than me, or even just slightly stronger than me, I don’t consider they need to appear easily.”

[Do you enjoy solitude?]

”No, I like crowds, bustling. But for dangerous things, I prefer to handle them alone, unless my allies are much, much stronger than me. Otherwise, I don’t want others to interfere because... um, I’m done answering.”

Wen Xishu did not say why.

But the questions didn’t let him go.

[Because you think they are burdensome?]

Is this guided questioning that asks directly?

According to the guide’s statement, the more frequently questions appear, the better the rewards...

If one speaks halfway, deliberately prompting questions, would the rewards be better?

After thinking it through... Wen Xishu decided not to do so, occasional pause is acceptable, doing it deliberately is too opportunistic.
