Three Towers Game

Simulation, deduction.

As important figures in the Desire Tower died, Wen Xishu saw many familiar prompts.

Simultaneously, he also altered the structure of the Deceit Tower.

The ghost knocking on the door still existed, but had purely become the longing of the deceased Chen Ming.

No longer punishing the wicked, but through a series of choices, helping Chen Ming determine which ghost outside the door was his wife.

If the wrong choice was made, Chen Ming would suffer harm and torment, and his memory of his wife would become distorted.

This would lead to more errors in judgment by Chen Ming thereafter.

Ultimately, if Chen Ming could not find his wife, he would collapse into madness and cause harm to the players.

In the eyes of the uninformed, this was the breakdown of a deeply affectionate man.

This story must be a touching love story. But probably only Wen Xishu knew that in the original version, Chen Ming was not the redeemed but the evil mastermind behind the scenes.

Of course, Wen Xishu thought this change was quite good. Especially since he knew the full storyline.

The changes to the Desire Tower not only affected the Obsession World of the Deceit Tower but also altered the real world.

On the Three-Tower Battlefield, the source of Aquarius’s power of good and evil was reduced.

This caused a significant drop in Aquarius’s favorability.

Wen Xishu could be sure…

that his favorability with Aquarius couldn’t be repaired anymore.

He could vaguely feel that Aquarius seemed to intend to use evil to restrain evil, but the hostility towards the players also made it impossible for Wen Xishu to maintain a cooperative relationship with all the constellations.

Among these constellations, there were bound to be some that were hostile.

Wen Xishu didn’t care; he was very satisfied with the result this time.

It is worth mentioning that the Ghost City originally had a Destructive presence.

But Chen Ming’s presence caused the Destructive to be toyed with and lose their sanity due to the ghosts.

This was similar to the time when encountering Aquarius. Last time, Aquarius’s subordinate was the little girl who could turn people into toys.

She was an absolute evil girl. In front of her, the Destructive was like an obedient dog.

This time, Aquarius’s subordinate was Chen Ming. With Chen Ming present, the Destructive had no time to deal with people… too busy dealing with ghosts instead.

It seemed that in any domain related to Aquarius, the Destructive were in rather miserable situations.

The last prompt Wen Xishu saw seemed to indicate…

that the Destructive would regain control of the situation. This he found very interesting.

It’s unknown whether the difficulty will decrease or increase when future challengers of the Desire Tower enter the Ghost City.

...

...

A room full of doors and clocks appeared.

Wen Xishu heard crying.

”Wooooo…”

He quickly realized it wasn’t crying; it was a new version of a laugh emanating from the black Deceitful Head.

”Congratulations, you’ve cleared the fiftieth floor, equivalent in difficulty to the sixty-fourth floor… Moreover, whether it’s the Desire Tower or the Deceit Tower, they’re both so perfect,” the black Deceitful Head said.

”Oh, you’re so magnificent! Look at this lifelike Lion Heart Brand!” the red head of Slaughter said.

”You should come to the Desire Tower more often; your operation makes altering timelines more aesthetically pleasing,” the white head of Desire said.

The trio of black, white, and red heads seemed somewhat sycophantic.

Wen Xishu said:

”Alright, enough chatter; I’m in a hurry to get back to the market.”

”Tell me, what level of completion did I achieve this time? It can’t still be Level 6, right?”

The black Deceitful Head said:

”Of course—not. You have fully realized that the timing for using the invitation is either when faced with an unavoidable danger or when you have entirely comprehended the Obsession World.”

”Strictly speaking, the Desire Tower didn’t turn out as perfectly as imagined, but your approach this time definitely reached Level 7 completion. Maybe even high-Level 7 completion.”

”But this also means that your ’income’ this time is different from before.”

”In fact, we, too, do not know what your income will be this time.”

The guide shrugged, and the three heads shook simultaneously.

Wen Xishu frowned:

”What do you mean by not knowing?”

When Wen Xishu checked his panel, he surprisingly found the mirror’s attribute descriptions displaying as ”???.”

The black Deceitful Head continued to smile fawningly:

”Have you noticed… the Bunker is no longer lacking in resources.”

Wen Xishu nodded.

The red head of Slaughter said:

”When people are hungry and poor, they don’t have many spiritual pursuits, and choices are limited.”

This time, the white Desire Head also had a significant presence:

”And now, despite the fact that the lower levels still struggle to get enough to eat, which is because of poor management by you humans of the Bunker rather than a lack of material resources per se.”

Wen Xishu said:

”What exactly are you three trying to express?”

The black Deceitful Head cleared its throat:

”I mean, the Bunker has entered its second phase, thanks to your personal efforts and the shaping of faith, the number of Tower Climbers has reached a historical high.”

”Everyone has witnessed the miracles brought about by the mad climbing of towers, attracting countless imitators.”

”Even the Deceit Tower, which no one visited, where only criminals and terminal patients would tread, now sees many climbers.”

”The massive reduction in population due to huge consumption has been minimized.”

”And your Level 7 completion this time marks a milestone in elevating the Bunker to a high-resource stage. Simply put—from today on, after exploring the Three Towers and returning to the Land of Reception, various rewards have unlocked a new process.”

”You can choose the traditional rewards or the ’reward of conscience.’

Wen Xishu became interested, as if he understood.

This time, his efforts propelled the Bunker into a new phase. As long as the Bunker People dared to climb towers, this phase would eventually come, but it was advanced today because of the Level 7 completion.
