Three Towers Game

Wen Xishu was a bit surprised, how come it’s exactly the same as the stereotypical vampire literature works?

Are vampires really afraid of silver?

He found it very strange:

”If someone who can’t even truss a chicken possesses silver, could they possibly kill you?”

He was preparing to head to Desire Tower.

Cain shook his head:

”Impossible. Although I’m afraid of silver, even if pierced by a silver dagger, I would only be weakened. Even if my heart was pierced, I wouldn’t die immediately. If it were truly an ordinary person, no matter how weak I am, I could easily counterattack and kill them.”

What if there was a pool of liquid silver prepared? To dissolve it completely?

But is this really feasible?

Wen Xishu internally rejected this idea. In Crystal City, finding a silver pool that vampires fear...it’s really unlikely.

”The reason an obsession is called an obsession may be because reality cannot fulfill it...Perhaps I shouldn’t be entangled in how to lead these assassins to kill the vampire king in Desire Tower.”

Wen Xishu began to seriously consider this problem.

Yes, he received an invitation, and next, he can head to Desire Tower to change history.

But it seems the limit of what he can do is to rescue these assassins. Killing the vampire king like in Deceit Tower is too much science fiction.

Without a quill, these assassins might not even wait for Edward and the others to appear.

Wen Xishu decided to change the question:

”When did you become a vampire? I want to know about your past. About how you became the Savior and the source of the Lion Heart Country’s salvation plan.”

Although killing the target would reveal some of the vampire king’s past through the character biography function brought by Scorpion Knife this time, listening to the other party say it in person clearly provides more information.

Kains was silent for a while:

”A few years ago, I found out that at night, I would be very fast and have an extreme thirst for blood. One time, my sister’s finger was cut, and I helped her suck the wound. As a result, I bit off my sister’s finger.”

”After that, I entered a mental institution. But later, I began attacking doctors and nurses. I had an extreme thirst for blood and only after being sated with blood did I have an appetite for regular food. Otherwise, all food would taste bad and be repulsive.”

”To drink blood, I started attacking other people.”

”Later on...I was supposed to go to jail, but my life took a major turn. As it happened, people from the military agency found me and they surprisingly said I was the Savior.”

”I also thought it was very funny. I thought of vampires. I am like a vampire now. I heard that strange things have appeared all over the world.”

”I didn’t expect to be one of them, and a detestable vampire at that.”

”But to the people from the military agency, I was a treasure.”

”The apocalypse was approaching, and many strange events were happening worldwide. They told me that my sister, whom I bit, started becoming bloodthirsty and began thinking of me...She posted late at night, saying I was innocent.”

”Those doctors and nurses I bit too.”

”They started to worship me.”

”And at night, they all became extremely powerful. A nurse even twisted several men’s necks in an alley at night.”

”And as their numbers increased...I started becoming stronger.”

”The people from the military agency seemed to have known about this early on and observed me for a long time. Only after I was supposed to go to jail did they find me and start asking if I wanted to participate in the bloodline plan.”

”The plan was simple—Lion Heart Country needed to survive. In this global bizarre storm, each country had some capable individuals...These capable individuals decided the future course. The person deciding Lion Heart Country’s course is me.”

”The people from the military agency said that if we chose the conventional way, like the Land of Freedom, trying to build an Ark to escape, or like Xiong Su hiding in the sky, or like Longxia hiding underground...it would all be wrong.”

”In the bizarre era, we must become part of the bizarre. Just like during the pandemic, our Lion Heart Country chose natural evolution.”

”Of course, there are others who made the same choice, like the Island Country.”

”But the Island Country’s random evolution, radiation mutation, is extremely inhumane. Especially filled with uncontrollability. I also know that Hujiang seemed quite chaotic those few years, earning the nickname Ghost Town.”

”The military agency told me that those I bit would only fanatically worship me but have their own thoughts. Although bloodthirsty, even animal blood and artificial blood could satisfy them, and...they were strong.”

”At night, they had the power and speed to easily break human limits, and some even possessed other abilities.”

”We only need to give up the daytime...give up the sunlight, and we can maintain human dignity and survive this great evolution!”

”Compared to other countries, our salvation plan requires no hiding, nor do we need to become monstrous, neither human nor ghost. Vampires at least have a human appearance, don’t they?”

”Next, we only need to solve one problem, which is to implement the blood creation plan. This way, humans just need to invert day and night.”

Giving up sunlight made Wen Xishu somewhat emotional.

He knew which country the Lion Heart Country corresponded to, and he was also aware that a century ago, this country had a nickname—the Sun Never Sets Empire.

A century ago, Lion Heart Country called itself the Sun Never Sets, and a century later...it feared the sunrise, becoming the Eternal Night Empire.

It’s indeed a bit ironic. At the end of days

Wen Xishu also noticed a key point, furrowing his brow:

”Did they create a salvation plan solely because of these events that happened to you? You mentioned earlier that they seemed to know you for a long time.”

Cain shook his head:

”To be precise, it wasn’t them who formulated it, but a woman holding a ram-headed staff...who made it. Perhaps you’re not unfamiliar with that woman.”

The eldest of the Twelve Constellations, Aries.

Wen Xishu immediately thought of this person.

Was Aries involved here? Isn’t she an expert in the ancient line?

But then again, the bloodline plan indeed carries an aura of antiquity. The concept of vampires itself is ancient.

As of now, including An Rongzai’s Reverse Seven Plan, it seems quite a few constellations have been involved in some ”salvation plans.”

Wen Xishu knew that it would be difficult to have such a good opportunity again to directly interrogate a ”Savior.”

In front of him was Cain, who, although defeated by him in the Obsession World, would be on Mr. Jin’s level in the real world.

”About that woman, how much do you know? Was your becoming a vampire related to her?”
