Three Towers Game

Chapter 108: After the modification: Chapter 66 Strange Tenants_4

If you do this, you’ll find this expression is one of terror.

And this expression, naturally, can convey fear to others. Wen Xishu didn’t feel terrified, but he realized there was something strange about this.

Yin Junchi was still talking:

”Altogether, how many people were there? Let me think... I have to think... there were six hundred and thirty people! Surrounding me in circles! Circles around me, their eyes staring at me, bloodshot, their mouths wide open, making strange screams.”

Six hundred and thirty people? Such a precise number surprised Wen Xishu.

But soon, that fine sense of fear appeared.

If hundreds of people sat beside you, circling around you, could you instantly count how many there were? Maybe someone with an exceptional talent for numbers could, but most likely, Yin Junchi wasn’t such a genius.

So how did Yin Junchi know there were six hundred and thirty people surrounding him, making strange screams?

Wen Xishu guessed—

It was very likely that Yin Junchi couldn’t escape that hallucination at all, so he could only stay in the middle and start counting. This scene might not be terrifying, but after counting six hundred terrified faces, the mental contamination must not be low.

Wen Xishu found it somewhat interesting:

”Is there more to it?”

”That’s it. That’s it. I just see these hallucinations frequently. It’s terrifying, I seem to struggle in the hallucinations for a long time, but when I break free, I find that only a short time has passed.”

Yin Junchi said:

”Only writing calms me. As soon as I close my eyes and try to rest, the hallucinations attack me from time to time.”

”But you know, I can write. While creating, I feel serene. This is good, honestly, it’s the flow state I’m pursuing.”

”I just wish I could always be in this state, but reason tells me I have to find a way to rest.”

”This state is great, but it’s impossible for the body to stay in such a state all the time! Impossible!”

Yin Junchi suddenly widened his eyes, opened his mouth, and said somewhat grimly:

”Good neighbor, can you help me, right?”

This scene made Wen Xishu feel even more intrigued. You must know, Yin Junchi seemed quite normal at first, though he had deep dark circles, which is not uncommon among novelists.

But gradually, Wen Xishu realized that while recalling these fears, there was significant turmoil inside Yin Junchi.

He began to appear somewhat eerie and crazed, even making such a terrified expression towards himself.

”I’m watching.” Wen Xishu replied.

Actually, there was no problem with the placement of any items in the room. In modern decoration, there are rarely any Feng Shui objects. The Feng Shui issues are often resolved by developers when a project starts.

Civil engineering people know this best, before the project starts, there is often a sum of money specifically for hiring Feng Shui masters.

Wen Xishu didn’t understand these things, he just took the opportunity to check those items with notes.

With ten plus points of Anti-Magic Value, he had actually already discovered several items with notes.

First, the laptop.

[A high-performance, expensive but rarely used laptop.]

Then the phone.

[A high-performance, expensive phone, frequently receiving reminder calls for drafts.]

Next, the bed.

[Very soft, very comfortable, but prone to being haunted by ghosts.]

Finally, a newspaper.

[A newspaper from an unreliable press, filled with strange stories, usually used by Yin Junchi for inspiration. It’s luckier than other issues because it’s been read repeatedly.]

Nothing else.

Nothing else in this room was noted, meaning other items were nothing unusual.

Wen Xishu had a preliminary judgment in his mind, he asked:

”Mr. Yin, could you tell me, when you first moved in, before you started thinking about bizarre plotlines, did you experience any hallucinations?”

(Two updates, ten thousand words! Continuing to post ten thousand words tomorrow. But I still prefer not releasing at midnight... Maybe I’ll switch back to posting at twelve noon tomorrow.)
