Three Towers Game

Chapter 107: Chapter 66: The Strange Tenants_3

Ah Miao thought the comedian’s performance was spot on. There was a part where the comedian quipped, ”What’s wrong with that.”

Then this comedian got slapped repeatedly by a group of people and mocked, ”What’s wrong with that?”

The slaps were very loud, a series of smacks, and the comedian’s expression changed several times during the process.

”Pretty awesome, right! Hahahaha, when the audience sees this part, they all play along with my joke! Bringing them laughter, I feel so happy.”

”Oh, I got beaten up pretty bad back then, the first few times it hurt so much my expression wasn’t right, the director even had to reshoot a few times. Hahahahaha...”

Ah Miao didn’t expect the other person to be so optimistic.

After talking with the other person for about half an hour, Ah Miao felt better too, infected by that kind of smile, she gradually forgot about the bothersome issues in her real life. She even didn’t find Deceit Tower that scary anymore.

The comedian left a great impression on Ah Miao, but Ah Miao instead didn’t know how to continue the conversation.

Because it was the comedian who was always finding topics:

”You don’t look very happy, I felt it the first moment I saw you, but life is like this, everything is worth being happy and joyful about!”

”Thank you... Don’t you ever feel upset? Filming scenes like that, being teased by the audience... doesn’t it make you uncomfortable?”

”Oh, how could you say that, it’s all a joyful experience. There are many things in this world that can bring happiness, maybe they make you feel uncomfortable, but to me, instead, they’re joys worth reminiscing.”

The actor continued laughing.

Ah Miao felt healed, but only just so. Many topics she started were subtly redirected by the comedian to the big theme of enjoying life to the fullest.

After all, Ah Miao wasn’t assertive enough. About an hour later...

She had to leave the room.

[Interaction with neighbor has ended, 50 action points have been deducted, remaining action points: 45.]

Once again, her body was driven by a mysterious force, standing up against her will.

But perhaps encouraged by the actor’s gaze, Ah Miao couldn’t help but think, what’s the big deal about this?

Life should be enjoyed to the fullest, she shouldn’t be angry or sad over the struggles in front of her.

...

...

Among the group, the one feeling most speechless was Xiaowu.

Xiaowu was in room 10 on the 28th floor and needed to visit the neighbor in 28-11.

This neighbor was a lawyer.

When the lawyer opened the door, Xiaowu, as a former convict, felt a bit scared facing this profession that’s so good at sending people inside...

Although he didn’t know immediately that the other person was a lawyer.

But once the other person spoke, Xiaowu understood:

”Hello... um, this is Jishen Law Firm, I’m lawyer Jiang Yingce... Are you here for something?”

Xiaowu stammered a bit too:

”Oh oh... I’m, I’m Xiaowu, your new neighbor, I wanted to chat, get to know each other.”

Jiang Yingce nodded:

”Well... well please come in. But I’m cleaning the room, sorry... my place isn’t very clean yet, how about you wait a bit?”

He seemed very hesitant and conflicted, at first wanting to let Xiaowu in, but then thinking his place was dirty, he didn’t want to be laughed at.

He slowly opened the door a bit, then closed it.

Xiaowu stood outside, a bit confused.

Because fifty action points for this?

His observation of the lawyer wasn’t careful enough, leading to a wrong opening line.

But Xiaowu still gained some from it.

After being forcibly dragged back to his room, Xiaowu felt uncomfortable.

Weird.

”His room, it was... it was so clean it was glowing!”

Even severe OCD wouldn’t have such a spotless room, Xiaowu suddenly felt a bit scared. He scratched his ear, suddenly wanting a shower.

...

...

Compared to the others, Wen Xishu’s experience with the writer was the most normal.

The writer’s story went like this.

”I had a major writer’s block, then people from Sanqiu Group said this room has good magnetic fields that would help me write, so I came here.”

”Honestly, the first night was okay... we write horror stories, the stuff we come up with might not be too scary, but when crafting the plot, sometimes we get scared.”

”People say horror story writers are brave... wrong, those with big guts might write well, but those with small guts often do better at the same level.”

”Okay, I’m just making excuses for my cowardice, anyway, I got scared by my own plots.”

”In my mind, images and sounds started appearing frequently. Both were terrifying.”

”In a dim flatland, a group of people formed many circles, and I was in the middle of them, they all used unemotional... but eyes-wide-open stares to look at me.”

”Each person’s eyeballs seemed about to pop out. Then all of them opened their mouths... can you imagine that expression?”

At this, the writer Yin Junchi suddenly widened his eyes and opened his mouth, his eyes as if they were about to pop out, yet the force of his mouth-opening was no less than his eye-widening.

This expression made Wen Xishu slightly frown.

Try following and making this expression, widen your eyes with all your might, then open your mouth with all your might the same way.
