The Ultimate Evolution

Ronnie’s sudden outburst gave everyone a huge but pleasant surprise, but Sheyan frowned and abruptly rushed forward instead because he realised that Ronnie had entered a weakened state after the attack. Ronnie was breathing heavily at a spot that was within reach of the Xenomorph’s claws and teeth.

Ronnie was giving Sheyan a look of arrogance and exhilaration.

“Damn you…. I keep meeting lunatics lately!” Sheyan rebuked in his heart. Although he was only a few meters away, he still chose to activate ‘Hornrage’ in order to save even fractions of a second!

The attention of the Xenomorph after such a severe injury, such a tragic attack, was no doubt fully focused on Ronnie right now!

Despite being stunned by Sheyan’s ‘Hornrage’, the moment it regained its freedom, it completely ignored Sheyan and fiercely slapped its sharp claws down onto Ronnie. At the same time, its tail began to convulse, apparently preparing for the next attack.

Sheyan raised his hands in a cross to block the claws of the Xenomorph, his miner gloves glowing with a dark green light.

Sparks sprayed out in a frenzy as the Xenomorph’s claws were parried by Sheyan. But the Xenomorph suddenly opened its mouth, its tongue lashing out like a spring. At the tip of the tongue was a bizarre and fierce-looking mouth full of sharp teeth. The tongue was aiming straight for Ronnie’s head.

With a roar, Sheyan sank his shoulder and bumped Ronnie away. The tongue naturally pierced into Sheyan’s shoulder instead! The tongue injected venom crazily into the wound and, when it retracted, it skillfully tore away a large chunk of the flesh. Black blood gushed out from the wound.

But Sheyan was also in a violent state. He endured the pain and, with a loud scream, punched upwards with his right fist. The parts on the right glove were rotating quickly, and an image of a large boxing glove formed on the fist.

The giant Xenomorph was hit hard on the chin and lost a few teeth, as well as its balance. The teeth of the Xenomorphs were different from the teeth of humans – all of them curved towards the inside, so once an enemy was bitten, it would be difficult to break away.

Therefore, Sheyan’s punch not only knocked the teeth on the lower jaw off, it also pushed the teeth of the upper jaw in. Teeth fell down like raindrops from the Xenomorph’s mouth.

Strictly speaking, this punch did not do a huge amount of damage, but the power behind it was quite terrifying. It directly hit the Xenomorph on the chin, sending the Xenomorph flying at a height of over two meters. The Xenomorph even flipped once in the air.

Seizing this opportunity, Sheyan’s hands extended forward as quick as lightning to seize the long tail of the Xenomorph.

The ‘Planetary-Grade High-Energy Mechanical Power Gloves’ spewed puffs of thick black smoke and exploded with a great force to throw the huge Xenomorph five or six meters into the air. The airborne Xenomorph was unable to dodge or escape; it became the perfect shooting target!

At this time, Pokan’s chanting had also concluded. The complete version of ‘Meteor Shower’ poured down from the sky. Large flaming meteors collided with each other and crashed into the Xenomorph’s large body, pounding the Xenomorph deep into the ground. By the time all seven flaming meteors were done with the Xenomorph, the creature had become like an empty toothpaste tube. Only its burning outer skin was left; all the innards had been squeezed out.

This Xenomorph was the one that was damaged by Sheyan’s ‘Beast of Corrosion’ last night. It had not had the time to recover yet and was actually fighting while carrying old injuries. More crucially, in order to show its greatest fighting power, a Xenomorph must combine its gene with the genes of suitable organisms. However, these Xenomorphs had to evolve to adapt to life in the swamp, so their fighting prowess was naturally greatly weakened.

The unhealed old injuries, the awakener skill of an assassin specialising in dealing damage, and the ultimate spell with a long casting time all combined to take away the last remaining life of the Xenomorph!!

The dying moan of the monster was vividly transmitted into the auditory organs of the other two Xenomorphs. One of them was helpless under the obstruction of the Iron Golem, while the other was preparing to leap out of the water again, but found Sheyan blocking its way.

Sheyan was standing with his legs apart, giving off the feeling of an unshakeable rocky mountain. From the spots where his feet were stepping, dense cracks which looked like the roots of plants spread to the whole dike! Sheyan was exuding an aura which gave the Xenomorph chills!

At the same time, it felt the merciless killing intent of everyone else focusing on it!

Under the enormous threat of death, the Xenomorph chose to retreat. After all, the Xenomorphs’ way of fighting was to move in the dark and kill with one blow. They seldom engaged in direct confrontation like bulls and tigers. The Xenomorph’s natural fighting instinct and instinctive fighting style made it dive down and run away!

Since its companion had chosen to retreat, the other Xenomorph naturally did the same. With a strange cry, it dived down into the water together with the Iron Golem. It managed to escape from the entanglement of the Iron Golem underwater and proceeded to run away.

At that moment, Aldaris’ ‘Spiritual Storm’ concluded. All the Violent Beasts within range had exploded, dying a gruesome death. Body pieces covered the entire water surface.

Just as Sheyan had arranged previously, the native humans started to skim the river with a huge net. They could not let all these precious resources go to waste.

Sheyan finally heaved a sigh of relief. Instead of sitting down to dress the large wound on his shoulder, he marched forward holding the wound and gave the dumbstruck Ronnie a strong kick!

The kick was launched straight at Ronnie’s chest with full force, and Ronnie did not dodge it. He staggered a few steps backwards, his face contorting in pain, and blood dripped down his mouth.

But Sheyan’s anger had not dissipated in the slightest. He followed up with a huge slap to Ronnie’s face. Ronnie kept standing straight and did not dodge. After that, Sheyan kept slapping Ronnie for five or six more times. Ronnie’s cheeks immediately became red and swollen, and several of his teeth were knocked off. Even his ears were bleeding. But he still stood there silently.

After that, Sheyan knocked Ronnie to the ground with a punch and kicked him brutally a few times before he stopped. Everyone else was at a loss seeing Sheyan’s sudden outburst.

But just by Ronnie’s decision not to fight back, they could tell that Ronnie must be in the wrong, because Ronnie, known as “The Blade”, was by no means a man who would take humiliation lying down. However, he had one distinct characteristic, and that was, he would easily submit to people who were stronger than himself.

Ronnie right now did not seem to have the courage to fight back or even had any intention of answering back. The only thing he did was to continue to gasp hard after being kicked by Sheyan. He stubbornly climbed back up and stood upright with his head low.

Sheyan pulled out a roll of bandage to wrap his wounds as he said with a frosty expression, “Do you think that by deliberately exposing yourself to the claws of the Xenomorph to either injure or kill yourself, you can put a dent in my authority and prestige?”

Ronnie stood straight, his head hanging down, and did not speak. Sheyan stood up and roared at him.

“Fool! If I want you to die, you won’t live for another second, but if I want you to live, you won’t die even if you want to! If you don’t believe me, then try that again. But next time, you won’t get off so easy. My punishment’s much more terrible than what you can imagine! Maybe I’ll let a few parasitic silk leeches burrow into your urinary tract and testicles! You can ask Mr. Hadrick if this method is feasible!”

Ronnie shivered, his groin twitching hard. Sheyan’s description had obviously given him a taste of the shame and fear to come.

Sheyan no longer paid attention to Ronnie. He turned to Paul next, his face somewhat gloomy.

“Mr. Paul, I’m very dissatisfied with your performance.”

Paul shrugged and grinned at Sheyan as he replied, “You asked me to protect Pokan. Well, he’s alive and kicking now, isn’t he?”

“This battle could’ve been simpler, but because you decided to hide your true strength, you made it more complex than it had to be. So, your action had had a negative effect on the team,” Sheyan retorted flatly.

“The saviour will always save the world in the final moment,” answered Paul indifferently.

Sheyan’s eyes narrowed as he told Paul in a serious tone, “This team doesn’t need a saviour; we only need members who give their all for the team. And, even if there is a saviour, that person would be me!”

Paul was somewhat uncomfortable with Sheyan’s cold glare. He could feel a rage rising from his chest. All the people who were selected for this mission were core members of their parties, so of course they had their own pride. So what if you’re an MT? To hell with you!

But an untimely thought suddenly slipped into Paul’s mind, like he was about to get down to business with a beautiful woman in bed but suddenly recalled the face of an old hag.

The MT in this team was not originally Seaman.
