The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 410: Abrupt Change

That Silvia, I don’t know what she saw, but I know her and I think she just wants to annoy me, but now the girl was definitely coming towards us and I didn’t have a chance to continue with the subject, I broke down the barrier.

”Hmmm, juniors, I see our eyes met, although I feel like yours seem more inquiring than mine; if you keep this up, even I’ll get nervous.”

”Ah!, sorry, it’s rare to see two such beautiful girls; I had to check that it wasn’t a hallucination. I was already fascinated by the senior Rowyn, and suddenly another one appears; I hope you understand me a little.”

As I thought, she realized we were looking at her, but I think I handled it well. Silvia isn’t good at talking to strangers, so I guess it’s up to me to do the talking.

Being closer, I evaluated this girl in more detail; she was also a dwarf and had an undeniable resemblance to Rowyn, as if they were twins; but no matter how hard I searched my memory, I had no idea who she was.

Rowyn was also a close friend of my alternate self, as she and my alternate self had something in common, and that’s why they got along.

Maybe not to the same extent as Silvia or even Evangeline, but he did know her well enough to at least know if she had a sister.

Even if she never talked about it, I find it hard to believe that my alternate self didn’t hear even the slightest rumor, especially since the ’alternate Silvia’ pryed without restraint and told him many things that others wanted to keep to themselves.

”Hehe~, I see you’re good with words. Still, I’m glad to hear that from a younger colleague. By the way, we obviously look alike because we’re twin sisters. I’m the older one.”

”Oh! So that’s how it was after all. Hmm, senior, could you come a little closer? I want to see something.”

”Huh? Junior, I see you don’t beat around the bush; you’re the direct type, I kind of like that.”

Yes, it wasn’t a coincidence after all; she was Rowyn’s sister, so first of all there was something I had to check, since Silvia wasn’t much help.

So I asked her to come closer, and she did so without much resistance and with a slightly peculiar smile, and I immediately put one of my hands on her shoulder.

’Phew, okay, she’s not like her sister.’

I could see that she wasn’t like her sister. On top of that, she was very beautiful: she had brown hair with yellow highlights, but like Rowyn, I noticed that those highlights weren’t natural but dyed; it’s funny that they do that, but I guess they both didn’t want to stick with just brown hair.

She didn’t have double pigtails but two braids; she had brown eyes and bronze skin, unlike Rowyn, who had white skin, but I also noticed that it wasn’t a natural tan.

She’s a peculiar mix; she gives the impression of being half gal, half model student, or a model student in transition to being a gal... it’s curious in its own way.

All of this together makes it easy to tell them apart, even though they are identical. They also share one more similarity with my beautiful twins, which is that, unlike Rowyn’s slender figure, the girl in front of me had a voluptuous figure.

But it wasn’t unusual; that’s how dwarves are in this world. For better or worse, they are not legal lolis or anything like the fantasy I originally had before coming to this world.

They are like normal women, only shorter, and that made them more... how can I put it... compact?

I don’t know if that’s the right word, but it means that even though they are shorter, they all seem to have pronounced curves. In fact, it’s most common for all of them to be voluptuous and curvy.

Rowyn is the exception, and the reason is what she always called her ”little problem,” but she’s in luck; divine factors aside, I think I’m the only one who can solve it.

That would not only make her happy, but it would also prevent a big problem from happening in the future.

But leaving that for later, right now I’m curious about the girl in front of me and why I don’t know anything about her.

I scan her and although she didn’t have the same thing as Rowyn, I still felt something strange, but I couldn’t identify what it was exactly.

So it’s better to get to know her better.

”Well, senior, I don’t think I’ve heard your name.”

”You don’t know me? I thought I was as famous as my sister. Well, I guess that’s because she likes to be flashy. My name is Elowen, you can call me Wen.”

”Oh, what a pretty name. Mine is Christian, you can call me Chris. So, senior Wen, are you also from senior Rowyn’s faction?”

’Oh! Hold on a second... this situation... Okay! Universal translator, do your thing.’

”Well, no, but between you and me, I’d say yes. You see, I have a high position in the Blacksmiths’ Guild, and technically I can’t belong to any faction, but whenever I can, I give my sister advantages.”

”Oh? Is it okay for you to tell me that?”

”Hehe~ well, it’s not a big secret; it’s easy to figure out if you put two and two together. The trick is to be moderately discreet about it. Ahem,! what do you think of my lesson based on my experience, kohai ?”

The translation worked well. Now I am a kohai and she is my senpai . I always wanted something like that and in a way, I enjoyed talking to this senpai .

Besides, if she’s Rowyn’s sister, they’re also from the same family, which means she’s filthy rich too.

Merchants don’t have their own guild, but the other five major neutral organizations depend on them to function properly, and this girl’s family controls the largest merchant organization on the continent and others.

It was really beneficial to befriend both of them, and personally, I liked how she was a little cheeky, so I played along with her a little.

”Excellent, ahem! Wen-senpai, if we both become very close, will some of those benefits come my way? Ahem, I’m just saying, as an added bonus.”

”Heee~ so, if I’m not misunderstanding, the main benefit is becoming close to me?”

”Of course, who wouldn’t want to be closer to such a beautiful senpai?”

”Hehe, looks like you still haven’t figured it out. I told you—the trick is not to make it so obvious. But since it works, as your senpai, I’ll let it slide.”

”yeah!, I’m an excellent student, the best in my generation, but it’s true that a few more lessons from my Wen-senpai, wouldn’t hurt.”

”I see that, but before I get lost in your silver tongue, tell me something... do you know anything about my sister? (ㆆ_ㆆ)”

”...”

We were both talking so calmly and playfully, but suddenly and without warning, her calm and flirtatious atmosphere changed, and her gaze became piercing as she questioned me. Now there was clear pressure from her towards me.

”If you’re going to lie, at least do it well. Your reactions were too obvious—how you tried to distance yourself from her and then dumped her on your friends like it was the best stupid joke.”

”...”

Damn, I thought everything was going well, but she put the brakes on and came out with this, and I can’t say anything because, indeed, she was right.

I didn’t think something like this would happen. Yes, of course, I found it a little funny, but I genuinely didn’t care about pairing one of the single idiots or the decent ones like Alexander or William with her, but from her perspective, only the part of me playing a dirty trick was visible.

”More importantly, I want to know where the leak came from. I’m sure I treated those who knew correctly.”

”...”

”What’s going on? Where’s your quick tongue from before?”

”...senior, I don’t know what you’re talking about.”

This was getting complicated because there was no acceptable excuse. So it’s better to feign ignorance; it’s not like she can do anything about it.

Besides, it was a shame because she was cute and I thought we got along well, but there’s nothing I can do about it.

”You’re very good at feigning ignorance, although it’s too late now. You’d better talk before I have to resort to other methods.”

”Oh!? So now we’re resorting to threats. Fine, what can you do to me?”

Since she started it, I didn’t care anymore. I stopped evading and looked her straight in the eye. If she thinks she’s going to intimidate me, she’s wrong.

Of course, her being an important figure in the blacksmiths’ guild gives her influence, but I don’t care.

I myself, along with Ciel, can process most of the things we find, and through my family I can force purchases.

As she said, she can’t be brazen, since that’s a neutral faction, and at most she could make things a little difficult for us, but not to the point where I care.

And although they were the largest merchants, they weren’t the only ones and had their competition, who would be very happy to work with the Silvercrest.

”I’ve heard that kind of thing many times before, but you know, for the right price, anything is possible, and I have a lot of money. So, if you don’t want things to get complicated for you and those around you, you’d better talk.”

’What did this bitch say?’

”What did you say, little bitch?”

I and number two , who seemed to start paying attention to this side, reacted the same way.

It’s one thing for her to threaten me personally, which I don’t care about, but if she threatens the girls and those around me, that’s another matter. I can’t let that slide.

Any potential threat to them immediately becomes a target for elimination, and this dwarf is putting herself squarely on that list.

Especially since she clearly wasn’t lying or testing me.

I emitted murderous intent focused on her; she didn’t expect me to have that level of murderous intent that didn’t correspond to my age and status, but after a brief moment of confusion, she stood her ground and continued.

”...Do you think you’re going to intimidate me with your trick? Speak, or before you know it, you may have a price that many will want to claim.”

She said no, but my murderous intent obviously contrasted with the pressure she wanted to exert on me.

I saw how she tried to expose her own murderous intent, but it didn’t compete with mine; her murderous intent was very light.

”Go ahead, you bastard. Do you think I’m afraid? I’ll make a row of heads in the town square with all the idiots who come, with you crowning it.”

”....”

I meant it. I’m not going to get involved in a little game where I’m hunted down unilaterally; I’ll do what I said to give a clear warning.

That’s how this world works, and it’s better to make the point clear before everyone wants to try their luck.

What’s more, on second thought.

Why the hell would I let her start her little game? It’s better to nip the problem in the bud.

I had already noticed that many of the seniors had started simple exchanges to demonstrate some moves to the younger ones; I could use that as an excuse.

A convenient excuse for what he was about to do.

’Let’s do it. I’ll prepare the strengthening spells. It’s all or nothing, let’s kill this bitch.’

’Yes!’
