The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 406: Incarnation Of Evil

”W-what happened?! What happened to me? Just say something—even if it’s in Mandarin!”

”Ugh! C-calm down, dear customer, d-don’t shake me... I don’t know what Mandarin is, but nothing happened to you, to any of yo.... but those three have bad sleeping habits... hue~”

”What the hell?... More importantly, why are those three in that small bed?”

”I just wanted most of you to be able to sleep comfortably (¬‿¬).”

”Hey, what’s that smile? Tell me the truth, don’t leave anything out that you know. You still haven’t explained why we’re all half-naked, why we’re all in the same room, why I woke up in that position.”

”Position? What position? We put you on the only sofa, /_\ it was difficult to put anyone else there... ahem!, did you fall?”

”N-no, it doesn’t matter. Answer the other question.”

”Okay, customer, this was the only room we had available. It’s usually used by couples for special occasions, which is why it has this theme, ahem! And just so you know, it was my idea and it was a success. Hehehe~, I designed everything.”

”Ugh! Don’t get sidetracked.”

”Ah!, right, about your clothes, you started taking them off yourselves when you started some kind of game, then you threw alcohol on them and set them on fire.”

”What the hell? Who was the idiot who—?”

”Customer, if I remember correctly, you were the one who started that game, hehe~. By the way, those three lost everything before they fell. The rest of you, unfortunately, huee~...”

”Hey, why are you drooling? I feel weird... ugh!. Wait!, what time is it?”

Chris’s head was still a little foggy, and the hangover didn’t help. He really regretted drinking to this extent, being just a doppelganger, but it was the first time since they came to the middle world that they had the chance to do so, and things got a little out of hand.

It was a shame because he wasn’t originally going to just drink and had other plans, but it was spilled milk now. Maybe next time.

”Customer, it’s almost eight in the morning. By the way, there’s what didn’t catch fire among the things they burned... We’re an honest establishment, so we don’t touch anything. Ahem! Don’t you think that deserves a better tip, ahem!, there are people who make a living from that?”

”Hm? eight in the morning Yeah, it’s no— ”

He felt his mental confusion finally clearing a little, but when what the girl said was finally processed, he realized the problem.

”Shit! The academy! Hey, idiots, get up! Da— Percute, fulmen, non occide!”

Chris, realizing how little time was left before the academy, raised his voice to the rest and, instead of casting a detoxifying spell or something similar, directly cast spells that forced them to be conscious: a lightning spell that hurt a lot.

”Ugh!” ”Ah!” ”Arggg!” ”Uah!”

Multiple complaints came from everyone at the same time, while Chris ran to where the girl pointed and took his storage.

”Damn...”

He remembered that it was a storage that didn’t really have anything in it. To begin with, the original had his main storage, and he, as the doppelgänger, only had a secondary one.

Although there were many things that the original left there in case of an emergency or something like that, the problem was that he usually left it in Elena’s care when he drank, because he could end up losing it—and he only brought money so that a tragedy wouldn’t happen again.

He didn’t have any clothes there.

”Customer, I understand your haste, but the bill for everything you consumed, plus the price of spending the night in our deluxe room, and some damages, is—”

”Yes, yes, here! ...Hey, you idiots, hurry up! Damn it, you want another spell!”

Without thinking, Chris threw the bag with only money in it to the girl; there should be enough there, and then some.

The most important thing was that he was in a hurry: if he missed the academy without a good reason, he would face repercussions from Elena, and even Astrid, who is strict about these things, might get angry.

So he had to move. Without thinking, he grabbed William, who naturally no longer appeared to have burns, and rushed out of the premises.

The rest were still a little dazed and confused, not understanding anything, but due to the threat of more pain if they didn’t hurry, they all followed him almost reflexively.

”Hey!, customer, you can’t just leave like that! I haven’t seen if— huh? A space storage bag? Wait!!!, how much money is in here, c-customer, this is too much.”

”Whatever, keep it all as a tip.”

She tried to stop them, but Chris didn’t really think about it and hurried out.

..

.

”Okay, we have to be quick. Alexander, create a catapult.”

”Y-yes.”

Still carried away by inertia and understanding almost nothing, when everyone came out onto the street in front of the hostel, Chris began to give orders, and following them, Alexander quickly created a kind of catapult made of stone.

Chris quickly adjusted it, looking in the direction of the large mansion in the distance, and...

”Okay, everyone get in. Eh?, why did you bring that stranger? Throw him out!”

”Oh, right!”

”Hey, idiots, why are you listening to him?!”

”Oh, sorry, Tharen, I did it on reflex. Huh? Why are you naked?”

”Huh? Mike, you too. Wait! What is—?”

”Hey, aren’t we missing someone?”

”Huh? Tharen is here, and I don’t think... Oh! Where’—”

”Okay!, whatever, there’s no time. Let’s go get them. Come on, Alexander.”

Fwoosssh.

With that, several half-naked men flew through the skies of the city.

This later ended up becoming a kind of local legend that those who did not witness it would not believe.

..

.

The result of hasty and ill-considered actions, guided by the urgency of the moment, was...

Boommm!

After the collision, the impact site was surrounded by several instructors and other people who came to help with this sudden attack.

Everyone was on high alert and had even sent signals to receive reinforcements and put the city on high alert; it must have been something very bad if they were already infiltrated so deeply.

The group was surrounded by many people ready to attack, and when the tension was at its peak, the dust settled to reveal...

A group of nervous men with their hands up in surrender.

It was passable for those who at least had a piece of clothing, but those who didn’t made it clear that they were armed.

But, putting that aside, even though they were armed when the instructors and everyone who was about to attack realized who they were, they calmed down.

But everyone continued to look in the direction of that group; this caused several screams and even whistles here and there, from girls and boys? And instructors?

”I-I, damn it!!”

When the danger of being shot at was gone, Mike was the first to react and run. The rest followed him and ran off frantically.

The only one left was Chris; he was the only one dressed, but curiously, his face was buried in the ground. The cause seems to be a blunt blow to the back of the head.

”And that’s what happened. So, while we were flying, I covered us with a protective spell and some magic to improve our flight. By the way, that spell was transparent, but Alexander and Mike, as well as William, who regained consciousness at that moment, panicked.”

”You’re not going to blame them, are you? This is obviously your fault.”

”Ey!, even though the planning phase was brief, it was very feasible, but suddenly Alexander and Mike surrounded us with rock and fire, and William gave it that characteristic glow, making us look like an attack.”

It really turned into a big problem. It wasn’t on purpose; I just pointed towards the academy and had forgotten that today the first few hours were practical classes.

My plan was simply to approach the mansion and quickly get dressed in one of the nearby dressing rooms.

Obviously, I didn’t mean to land in the middle of everyone, although I can accept that I’m partly to blame for not remembering the schedule or for not seeing the situation through Number Two.

After the misunderstanding was resolved and things really calmed down and the alerts were canceled, I, who had recovered, took the opportunity to move away from the place.

Of course, most people were more focused on the people running around looking for clothes, so it was easy for me.

I saw Silvia, who was separated from the rest. When I asked her about it, she said it was in case Lily, whose sudden presence surprised me, attacked her again, but from my point of view, being alone made her an easier target.

Anyway, I went straight to her and started talking to her naturally as if the incident that had just happened had nothing to do with me.

The good thing is that, since William was involved, it’s very likely that it won’t go any further.

”Besides, why are you the only one wearing full clothes? Are you sure it wasn’t one of your silly jokes?”

”No, but... why are you blushing so much? Did you get a good look at Will— ugh! Hey, don’t kick me! You should be thanking me for giving you good material for when— ugh! Damn it, take that!”

”Agh!, Stop poking me! And stop talking nonsense. Do you think I’m as shameless as you? With everyone there, I couldn’t do that.!

”Aha!, so you do it in a more discreet place, I knew it.”

”That’s not what I meant! Idiot! Besides, why don’t you put up a sound barrier if you’re going to talk nonsense?”

Click!

”Okay, tell me where you do it. Is it a good place? Can two people fit? No, wait, the important thing is: do you use the gem filled with images of William, which I took and gave you so that— ugh! Why are you still kicking me? Damn violent tsundere.”

”Ugh! Seriously, stop poking me in the same spot, it hurts!”

”Hgh! And you stop kicking me.”

”Ack!, fine, let’s stop here. I won’t stoop to your level, childish idiot.”

”You’re the childish and tsundere one.”

”Hmph. I hope Elena scolds you later for doing stupid things.”

”Ugh. She already did. Didn’t you ask why I was the only one dressed? I was also just in my underwear, you know? When we crashed, it kicked up a lot of dust, and Elena took advantage of that to dress me... ugh. But she also hit me; that blow to the back of my head almost destroyed this doppelgänger. I really don’t know what—oh!”

But, putting the pain aside, I feel like my hangover is somehow gone, so I’ll take that as a positive.

”You earned it for doing stupid things without thinking.”

”But I got there on time, and that’s what matters.”

”No, it’s not.”

”Hey, lately you’re contradicting everything I do. What happened to the explosive team, Silvi-Chris forever? What happened to our sisterhood and mutual support, our—oh, wait, what are those giants doing here?...oh!Now that I think about it, why are there so many people?—Ah!!”

”W-what’s going on!? W-why are you hugging me from b-behind out of nowhere!?”

”—Stay still! B-because that incarnation of evil is here!... ugh, she looked this way.”

It was at that moment that I noticed the small problem that I don’t know how I hadn’t noticed: that obvious group of people over three meters tall is not easy to overlook.

But that wasn’t the most important thing; I noticed an evil and unwelcome presence.

”Are you talking about Princess Celestine?”

”What? That annoying princess too? Damn, you’re righ!t. Why the hell is she looking this way too? Wait, where are my blindfolds? No! That’s not relevant; I’m obviously referring to the perverted elf.”
