The Noble Lady of Lust

Chapter 407: Higher Purpose

”That’s not obvious at all! And stop talking to Evangeline like that; she’s a kind and pleasant person. Besides, how do you know she was looking this way?

”I just felt it-!!! Don’t move; your big breasts should be enough to cover me...uff... Seriously, why are they here?”

”Haaah~, did you not pay attention in class again?”

”You’re wrong, I did listen. Today our Seniors were coming to give us advice and stuff, based on their experiences, about the things that await us and how to deal with them, and other things, but I was expecting mob 1 or mob 2 types to come, not a bunch of troublemakers.”

”Maximilian is here too.”

”Oh, that’s right! My brother-in-law. Hm, it’s nice to see him for the first time... hmm, why is he so handsome? In my memories, he was kind of... darker, gaunt... but now... damn, what is this feeling I’m getting!”

”...Jealousy?”

”Tsk! As if that were possible... ah, now that I think about it. What do you think of him? In the alternate timeline, you didn’t like him, right? It was a little awkward to have friends who didn’t like each other.”

”...Unlike you, I don’t have prejudices against people based on mere memories, and I have nothing against him. Besides, the reason ’that’ Silvia didn’t like him was because Maximilian didn’t like Will.”

”Oh, right. Max shouldn’t have anything against William now that I saved Auro-Hiii!Why does it look like she’s really coming towards us...? Rather, what is she doing here? I understand Max and Celestine because they’re from our kingdom, but what does she have to do with it?”

”Yes, I see you only heard part of it; the Seniors also include those from other kingdoms, so it’s not strange that she’s here. If you look closely, there are people from other kingdoms.”

”Ah! What about the giants over there? Aren’t there too many of them? Are they Seniors?”

”No, they’re not. That was explained just now, before you made a mess. From now on, we’ll be taking classes together with the other kingdoms, although only two at a time, and we’ll be with the giants for the next three days.”

”Oh! What a golden opportunity! Today will be the day I make up for what I failed to do last time. But why are they doing that? In my memories, each kingdom was highly independent and rarely involved with each other.”

As I recall, apart from a few times to demonstrate superiority or something like that, there was little interaction between the kingdoms, and now we’re even going to have joint classes, which is very strange.

”I don’t know... hmm, but I think that because of the more intense attacks from the demons, maybe they want us to be more united to fight them.”

”Ah! That’s true.”

What Silvia said makes sense. Before, the demons were more like competitors from another side, but now things are highly tense.

It’s better for the kingdoms to get along, cooperate, and not waste resources or time on internal struggles, to unite against that powerful enemy...

”...I think it’s a good thing. Honestly, in your memories, there were mostly more fights between us than against the demons.”

”Yes, and it was highly annoying. At least with the demons, you could go and kill them, but not with those supposed allies. But I don’t think it will end all the fighting, especially with the older generation.”

I have already started a conflict with Princess Celestine, and I really have no hope that there will be no clashes with these supposed allies, especially now that there are so many problematic people together.

I can’t help but think that it will end in some kind of trouble. I have to keep a close eye on William, who is a troublemaker.

”...but I think our fights won’t be so bad now.”

”It’s a little naive to think that, but I hope it’s true; it would be a pain in the ass if it weren’t. Ah!. Hey, but seriously, she’s coming towards us, right? What do we do? We have to run away.”

I got distracted for a moment talking to Silvia, but I realized that Evangeline was getting closer and closer to us.

She wasn’t coming directly; for some reason she seemed to be sneaking up on us, which set off my alarms even more. She was planning something and we had to escape.

”Stop it. You know what she’s like. Last time you ran away as if she were a monster. She’s probably coming to make sure she didn’t do anything wrong or to apologize if she offended you in some way.”

”Ugh. Hey, but I didn’t give you memories of Evangeline because it seems like you’ve known her for a long time. Why does it seem like she’s more your friend than I am? ? 눈_눈Depending on your answer, there will be one less Evangeline in the world.”

”And you have the nerve to call me Yandere?”

”Well, I’m just kidding... At most, I would use soul magic to extract your memories. If you cooperate, we might be able to prevent you from ending up in a vegetative state, and if you do, I’ll take care of you for the rest of your life, feed you, and even change your diapers. I’ll also leave William in the same state, so you can be together and—”

”Stop it, you’re really scaring me. You’re joking, right?”

”Hehehue~, well, obviously I’m just joking, so you can get a taste of what it feels like to be stalked by a yandere and tone it down in the future... but answer my previous question 눈_눈”

”Seriously, haah~, you gave me all the memories of us two interacting, and Evangeline spent a lot of time with us... just a few interactions are enough to understand what a good person she is.”

”That in itself is prejudice! Who knows if she’s already that corrupt being full of evil?”

Stop behaving like that towards her! Besides, if you’re really not going to help her or get involved, stop acting the way you are now; that will only make her insist on pursuing you.

”Huh?... Ah! Damn it! You’re right. She’s a crazy pervert with a fetish for making everyone like her... What if I become her target?... Ugh. Silvia, hug me, I’m scared!”

”No. And please stop seeing everything she does in a negative light; she’s just someone who’s too kind for her own good...”

”Ugh! Still, thanks for warning me. I almost fell into some cliché like...’oh, you treat me differently, I can’t stop thinking about you... I think I like you,’ or some crap like that.”

”(ㆆ_ㆆ)”

”What? Why are you looking at me like that? Oh, she’s coming! Damn it, I know what you said, but I’m not mentally ready yet, so... tactical retreat.”

For the record, you’re asking for it... or rather, you deserve it for being an idiot.

”Ey, this is more a matter of the heart than of reason, hiii!. Silvia, cast a distraction spell.”

I really don’t want to get directly involved with her, but Silvia is right, but that task will be left to my future self. For now, I actively reject any interaction.

..

.

”눈_눈¡Tsk! Look at her there, all pink and dangerous. Pink is obviously a bad sign; it’s a clear indication of all the evil she brings, it’s a color full of corruption and wickedness.”

Classes were delayed because, due to the sudden chaos that had ensued, the instructors were still busy; it was no longer just the initial three, there were several doing many things and cooperating with the giants.

I’m going to ignore the fact that Astrid was giving me some looks as if blaming me for giving her extra work, but it was fun to see Lily being put to the test to prove what she was capable of on her first day.

But the important thing is that, luckily, that woman gave up on approaching us after a kind of tacit struggle between running away and her discreet approach.

Now we watched her from a distance in case she tried to approach us again.

”Are you really saying that? When two of your girlfriends have pink hair. Rather, isn’t that the most predominant color in your harem?”

”Hey! Don’t go labeling other people’s girlfriends like that. How dare you reduce them to stereotypes? I’ll tell Eira.”

”You’re the one who’s always with those labels and prejudices, idiot! And don’t even think about saying anything to her; you almost got me in trouble with her before.”

”Me? It was Seraphina; no, it wasn’t even her, you clearly got yourself into that mess, it was your karma for being a traitor.”

”Seriously, stop playing dumb and acting like they’re different people.”

”Ahem! Anyway, you’re wrong; the most predominant color in my harem is black, with Aurora, Lily, and Elena.”

”...If that were the case, Aurora would also be counted as pink. Didn’t you say she had those two shades in her true appearance?”

”Damn it! Well, never mind. When the twins receive their EX ability, they will change color to light blue and dark blue, and that leaves only Aurora; and maybe her color will change if she receives an EX ability too.”

”And what about pink? Besides, Evangeline only has pink tips on her hair; most of it is white.”

”You’re not convincing me of anything, Silvia. Besides, even that white reminds me of Aeloria; yes, white is also a color that brings evil and disguises the corruption she possesses. Tsk!, what else would you expect from someone who inherited Aeloria’s blessing?”

”You’re really going to drive me crazy! You have white hair and Aeloria’s blessing.”

”Exactly. What more proof do you need to realize it? Ugh. Why did you kick me?”

”I don’t know why I bother arguing with you.”

”Haha! You have nothing against my argument, right?”

«Shut up!, only you would resort to insulting yourself to win an argument, and don’t poke me. Ugh... Anyway, I know you’re just looking for any nonsense to complain about... You’re being irrational, childish, and idiotic, and if you keep this up...”

”What? What are you going to do? You think I’m afraid?”

”...I’m going to speak well of you to her.”

”Ugh, damn you... you wouldn’t dare.”

”Try me.”

”Ugh, you really do have something against me. Why are you treating me differently? If you’re so timid, why are you treating me differently? I wonder where my sweet Silvia went — the one who used to get intimidated so easily, who couldn’t even look me in the eye and would blush just from meeting my gaze.”

”Shut up!, you idiot. You’ve turned me into this. If I let myself go along with you, you’d end up using me as a doormat or a foo- in fact, not long ago, you shamelessly asked me to be your footstool.”

”Ahem! It was for a higher purpose of improving the atmosphere. I’m sure that at that time Aurora would be more impressed if I used a lackey as a footstool. It would give me a more authoritative and powerful air.”

”Yes, that’s exactly why it’s never good to go along with you. Another clear example is William and the rest. Look how they ended up going along with you.”

”Let’s not get off topic, Silvia. Going back to what we were saying, I would never use you as a rug or stool, unless it was for a higher purpose. I would never do something like that... At most, I would use you as a pillow, or a bed. Hmm... Hey, Silvia, why don’t you...?”

”No!”

”Come on, I’ll do it in my original form, and when we’re done, I’ll give you a nice shoulder massage.”

”...”

Oh! She didn’t flatly refuse, which means the proposal is under consideration. I can’t miss this opportunity; I have to play my cards right.
