The Martial Unity

Chapter 3519: Feel The Weight

From that point on, the Dragon Emperor unleashed a tremendously intense barrage of attacks, each threatening to crush Rui where he stood. Despite his eyes closed, Rui managed to avoid dying to each of them, doing his absolute best to defend against the Dragon Emperor’s attacks.

Lord Shenlong, however, sensed that the end of the battle was imminent. It was an instinct deep in his bones that told him it was not to last for much longer.

Victory was just around the corner.

He pushed himself to the limit, seeking to crush Rui where he stood so that he wouldn’t be able to do anything else. Even if he regarded him as superior, he had to admit that he was truly shocked by the power that Rui had displayed. He had never seen anyone squeeze as much power from as little raw output as Rui had done against him today. Even the phrase ’squeezing water from stone’ didn’t do justice to describe what Rui had accomplished against him.

And yet, by the end of the day, he was to emerge victorious. His arm curled back as he contorted his body, generating astronomical amounts of torque, threatening to slice Rui into ribbons where he stood.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

RUMBLE!!!

The tremendous attack crashed into Rui’s fused domains, shredding it apart, losing just enough momentum, however, to allow Rui to survive it.

But not without a cost.

His blood spewed into the waters of the ocean while his body broke more, drawing closer and closer to death. The damage to the environment was even more grave; the sheer destruction that the attack unleashed upon the world was nothing new, only deepening the fissures and cracks that spread across the ocean floor.

The lava that spewed out from within began emerging at a quicker, more alarming rate.

And yet, Shenlong didn’t care.

His attention was focused on one and only one task.

Crushing Rui.

BOOOOOM BOOOOOM BOOOOOOM!!!

He continued unleashing an onslaught of destruction upon Rui, who remained immersed in his environment, coursing through all the possible options at his disposal with the Forge of Creation.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

Rui barely managed to survive a thundering tail swipe. Not only did he deploy the fused domain, but he deployed Neo Godspeed and Nemean Blossom to allow him to survive the attack to the best of his abilities while arming his guard with invintium.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

He used the growing Prophecy of the Void to find the most optimal manner of interception to minimize the damage. A methodology that once allowed him to take on Martial Sages as a Martial Master was now barely allowing him to survive against the Dragon Emperor.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

Every time he sustained major damage, he redirected Weaving Blood and his primordial core to heal the most critical aspects of his wounds, restoring his skeletal structure, fixing muscles, and coagulating blood.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

The only thing he wasn’t short on was stamina, thanks to the Blood of Solaris. And yet, stamina didn’t mean much if he was going to die in the next ten seconds.

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

BOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

Lord Shenlong’s smile widened with bloodlust as he could see Rui’s body deforming with each passing second, his blood spilling with each moment. He could almost taste victory. He could almost taste Rui’s flesh; the power, information, and authority that lay within it, awaiting him.

In that moment, he couldn’t help but feel as though his entire life had been to reach this moment. To reach a victory that would pave the path to his domination of the world.

Even before he won, he began seeing visions of himself using his enhanced Authority to kill Vakratunda and subjugate the Harmonist Faction. He began seeing visions of himself leading a unified Greater Kiriket into war, consuming everything that they found in their path until they reached the Lost Continent and all the exotic miracles that existed within its border.

And with the power of exotic matter, he would wage an overwhelming war against the other five species of the true world.

He was to take over all of Gaia.

And this moment, this victory-to-be, was to pave the path for it.

The Dragon Emperor’s delight reached a maximum as he saw Rui’s knee fall to the ground for the first time in the fight. There wasn’t even a single inch of skin that wasn’t covered in deep flesh wounds.

His entire body was covered in blood, almost as if he had been skinned alive.

”It’s over!” Shenlong snarled as he unleashed a destructive claw swipe.

Time slowed down in Shenlong’s eyes as Rui opened his.

A single remark escaped him.

”Feel the Weight of Water.”

From Rui emerged what felt like a magical signal.

One that was composed of radiation.

It spread through the ocean, interacting with all the particles in a particular way, timed at exactly the right moment, causing all the particles of the ocean to bounce about each other in a way that ultimately caused them to move in one direction.

Against one target.

The Dragon Emperor himself.

For just a moment, the entirety of the weight of the ocean and all the pressure it contained crushed down on the Dragon Emperor.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

RUMBLE!!!

The Dragon Emperor’s eyes widened as he felt the weight of quadrillions of tons of water crush down on him with an unfathomable amount of pressure. For just a moment, the pressure that converged on him greatly exceeded even the pressure needed to cause nuclear fusion.

CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK CRACK!!!!!

The dragon howled with excruciating pain as his invintium isotope armor cracked, causing the scales to crumble and break apart. His bones broke under the titanic pressures that were mounted upon his body while his flesh crumpled and his skin tore.

His blood vessels burst within him, causing him to hemorrhage intensely. His body crumbled to the ground with a shocked expression as he gazed at Rui with eyes of rage.

”You dare...”

RUMBLE!

The world shook with the weight of his voice.

His bloodlusted eyes bore deep into Rui.

”It will be the last mistake you make.”
