The Martial Unity

Chapter 3502: Charging Beasts

While Rui and Lord Shenlong battled away within the depths of the Great Void Ocean, the continent of Kiriket was thrown into complete disarray. Not only did the disappearance of the Dragon Emperor throw the continent into complete disarray, but it whipped the entire War Coalition into a frenzy.

The moment the War Coalition discovered the location of the Dragon Emperor, they began mobilizing aggressively, all but ready to deploy their army to reach the Dragon Emperor and aid him in his battle against Rui. Each of the clans that were part of the War Coalition began gathering their therianthropes and their beasts, preparing battalions to descend to the depths of the oceans.

On top of that, the aquatic clans of Kiriket were especially eager to dive into the depths of the ocean and rescue their leader.

What they didn’t expect, however, was the destructive maelstrom that emerged from within the depths of the ocean. Even as they began mobilizing, a tremendous tsunami of great proportions erupted from within the depths of the ocean, threatening to wipe out much of their North-Western coast. The calamity was so great that it delayed their mobilization, much to their displeasure.

Simultaneously, they couldn’t help but be awed at the incredible power of their ultimate leader. The Dragon Emperor truly showed the world why he was among the top ten most powerful individuals in the entire world.

The tsunamis that emerged from the depths of the ocean were absurdly tall, but the irradiated waters that followed next strained the systems of not just the Continent of Kiriket, but also the entire world.

With highly irradiated waters emerging from their target destination, they couldn’t just send large numbers of reinforcements, for they would suffer too greatly. They needed to send a small but highly powerful unit of great warriors who could weather the tribulations that ensued from the battle between two incredibly powerful beings.

And they did just that.

”Leaders of the War Coalition,” a narsimha, a therianthrope who was half-lion and half-man, growled as he stood before a gathered congregation of nearly a hundred other therianthropes. ”The time to prove our loyalty to our leader has come. Right now, our liege battles against an enemy and prey who robbed him of us. We shall return to his side and help him fell his enemy and strengthen his Authority!”

A wave of approving roars and other bestial sounds emerged from the therianthropes.

Their upper halves were almost proudly bare while their lower halves were covered in a garment comprising a single cloth that wrapped around their waists and legs in a complex bind and knot.

They wore ornaments with different and unique symbols and the crests of their various clans.

They were the heads of the various clans that were a part of the War Coalition, and those leaders who had managed to achieve Convergence of Beast, becoming converged beasts in and of themselves in human form. They were among the most powerful warriors that the Continent of Kiriket had to offer, and were the only ones who could intervene in a battle featuring two of the most powerful beings in the entire world.

”We have no time to waste,” the narsimha growled. ”We dispatch right away.”

RUMBLE!!!!!

The world shook as the leaders began transforming. They shed their humanoid forms as they assumed their true forms as beasts in and of themselves. The subordinates around them bowed with reverence and piety.

Within the Pasupati Clans of Kiriket, those therianthropes who had achieved Convergence of Beast and had merged with their beasts to become one were regarded and worshipped as living gods.

Among them, they considered Lord Shenlong to be the most supreme of gods, worthy of ruling the entire continent. Lord Narsimha shifted as his humanoid body grew larger and larger, turning into a lion. His fur was a regal golden while his mane was glorious. His body crackled with tremendous energy as the cold fusion mitochondrial reactors revved with power, sending energy coursing through the giant lion’s muscular frame.

His body shone with a faint golden glow as each and every strand of fur on his body lit up with great bioluminescence.

The lion was regarded as the third most powerful therianthrope on the continent after Lord Shenlong and Lord Vakratunda. The Narsimha Clan was a clan that was bonded with artificially engineered lions that were nothing short of predatory, killing machines, giving birth to one of the most powerful therianthropes, who was rightfully designated as the vice leader of the War Coalition after the Dragon Emperor.

”ROOOAAARRRRRRR!!!” The giant lion unleashed a roar that spread across the entire continent, shaking all those within it. ”Charge to the Great Void Ocean!”

RUMBLE!!!!!

The many titanic converged beasts took off into the air and across land as they blasted towards their destination at incredible speeds. Even with their speed, however, the sheer distance they would need to cross in order to reach their liege did not change. They would have to cross over much of what was an absolutely enormous planet the size of a small star.

And yet, not a single one of them feared for the safety of their liege. Their faith in the power of the Dragon Emperor was high, not just because of his Authority of Alpha, but also because his dominance was palpable.

Virtually every single lifeform on the continent quaked in his presence. Not a single one of them could bring themselves to look into his eyes without feeling immense dread and horror. They couldn’t even imagine him losing.

And yet, they chased after him to fulfill their duty nonetheless.

They drew closer and closer to the North-West Coast as they traveled at incredibly high speeds.

WHOOSH

Their eyes widened as a single person teleported before them in the blink of an eye.

A man with an elephant head and a protruding belly.

His tranquil eyes bore deep into theirs.

”You are going nowhere.”

RUMBLE!!!!!

The moment his feet touched the ground, his very existence shifted as his body grew larger, changing shape.

He became a war elephant the size of a mountain.

BOOOOOOOOOOM!!!!!
