The Martial Unity

Chapter 3408: I Would Rather Die

His body shook as his powerful cells generated unfathomable amounts of energy for his gamma radiation energy weapons systems. As the most powerful dragon in existence, he wielded the power of gamma radiation for his offensive power, allowing him to poison all life, if not utterly eradicate it, with gamma lasers that would eviscerate his target.

RUMBLE!!!!!

The mounting energy levels brought despair within the hearts of all those who stood before him with crushed hopes of opposing.

Empress Schlieffen closed her eyes in resignation as she waited for the inevitable end.

It never came.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

The dragon’s reptilian eyes widened as a thundering impact struck his torso with immense intensity. The powerful impact permeated through his body, disrupting his weapons systems, causing him to momentarily halt his attack to annihilate the Hlakaschken Trade Empire.

The powerful impact rocked him midair, flinging him away until he used his wings to stabilize his body before glaring daggers at the source of the attack.

All he saw were memories.

Memories of a woman who had lived a long, long life.

She traveled the continent, spreading Martial Art to all of human civilization.

She was reborn as a young girl in the Gen Temple.

And then reborn once more as one who bore both identities.

It was a lifetime that dwarfed even that of the elves as someone who had lived through an unfathomable amount of time within the depths of her mind.

And yet, it gave her unfathomable power.

Her amber eyes bore deep into his with an unyielding determination, while her long, brown hair had been tied up in a bun. She had quickly switched from the clothes that she had brought from the marketplace into her Martial attire, the only pair of clothes that could withstand her power without burning off from the sheer friction or tearing with great force she exerted.

Her very presence shocked both sides.

Empress Schlieffen gazed at her with a stunned expression while the Dragon Emperor glared at her with violent hostility.

”Who...” The former asked with a stunned tone as she gazed at Amare’s back. ”Who are you?”

STEP

Amare took her stance, spreading her feet by one foot’s worth of distance while her hands straightened into powerful palms. Her Martial Embodiment flared with power as the world beheld her long, extensive life.

”I am the Omni-Martial.”

WHOOSH

In the blink of an eye, she arrived before the Dragon Emperor, tunneling through the very fabric of reality itself.

As he did a blindingly swift palm attack that surged towards Lord Shenlong.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMM!!!

CRACK

The Dragon Emperor’s eyes widened as the devastating impact that her attack unleashed upon him minutely cracked a single scale on his body, a feat that very few among even the strongest of beings in the world could possibly achieve.

And yet, she was only getting started.

At speeds that beggared the imagination, she unfurled an extraordinary barrage of attacks that ravaged the beast’s abdomen.

BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM!!!!!

Her arms disappeared as a myriad of impacts blasted the Dragon Emperor. Her arms turned into a machine gun, unleashing a ferocious onslaught of blows upon her enemy with extraordinary frequency. She made use of the yin-yang vibrations of the Gen Temple, using it to permeate each impact past the devastating scales of Lord Shenlong as her momentum in battle kept growing.

”You are strong for a female.”

Her eyes widened as she found herself staring at his giant, razor-sharp claws just inches away from her face.

WHOOSH!

Amare barely evaded the blindingly fast blows as she leaped away with a grave expression. ’If that attack struck me, I would be dead.’

The sheer speed at which his claw swipe moved stunned Amare into caution. It wasn’t just the speed, however, which she was able to react to even in the last second, but also the extraordinary mass in the dragon’s body.

She felt a gravitational pull towards him.

As did all things around him, whether it was heaven or the oceans.

They converged upon him even as his bloody aura consumed the bright blue morning sky and corrupted it with his ominous aura, turning it into a rusty, blood-red color.

It meant that his body contained an unfathomable amount of mass.

Enough to give him his own gravitational field. She couldn’t even imagine how much matter was stuffed into his body and how such a thing was even possible in the first place. She gazed at him with a grave expression as she realized that she couldn’t allow herself to get hit with even a single attack. There was no defense in the world that could protect her from the Dragon Emperor.

She studied her hands with her senses, feeling an aching sensation of pain emerging in them.

Even if she had used yin-yang vibrations to permeate impacts past his scales, her hands still ached with pain at striking the powerful dragon’s invintium scales.

On top of that, the radiation he unleashed corrupted everything around him, including her. If not for the materia prima that she shielded herself with to protect herself from the gamma radiation, she would have undoubtedly died.

And yet, it took its own toll as the air she breathed was irradiated with his aura, making even breathing harder than it was.

The Dragon Emperor’s reptilian eyes bore deep into hers with an eerie, predatory glint.

”You are a fine female.”

His tone contained a suggestive hint.

”I will spare your life if you become my mate.”

Her expression morphed into one of disgust. ”What...?”

”I generally disdain interbreeding, but I’m curious as to what kind of hybrid our union will bear. Homo martialus is a powerful species with many compatibilities with homo therianthropis. Our offspring will be quite powerful, and you will gain a high status in Kiriket as the Dragon Emperor’s mate. Not to mention, you get to keep your life.”

His eyes lit up with a hint of lust.

”What do you say, human fema—”

”I would rather die,” she snarled before he could even finish his words.

His reptilian pupils dilated.

”Very well.”

RUMBLE!!!!!!
