The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 970: Chapter 970: The Effects of Qi Gong

Hua Dongxu knew that Lin Tian had used acupuncture to treat many difficult symptoms in medicine. The most representative ones were vegetative state patients and diabetic patients.

Additionally, just a few days ago, he witnessed this young man using one hand along with so-called Inner Strength to extract eight bullets.

If he hadn’t seen it with his own eyes, Hua Dongxu wouldn’t have believed it; the claim sounded more like nonsense.

”Teacher, how is this possible? Stick a few needles in a person, drink some medicine, and you can cure brain cancer. Then why do so many patients in the world still choose chemotherapy with so many side effects?”

Xv Zhina asked, feeling rather unconvinced. Using such an unreliable, exaggerated statement to try to win her over—how wishful thinking!

Especially with Hua Dongxu, who held a special position in her heart, actually siding with him—Xv Zhina couldn’t accept this answer.

Hua Dongxu glanced at Xv Zhina and sighed inwardly. This girl still had that indomitable spirit; this time it might really strike her.

”Zhina, do you think I would tell such lies when it comes to medicine?” Hua Dongxu replied.

Xv Zhina was slightly taken aback and then regretted questioning Hua Dongxu earlier.

”Teacher, I was wrong.” Xv Zhina said with her head down, like a child who had done something wrong.

After a few seconds of silence in the classroom, she looked up at the teacher, surprised to see that he didn’t criticize her. With his meticulous personality, something seemed off. Normally, he would have been tirelessly preaching by now—clearly someone not yet thirty years old, yet acting like an old man.

However, even if tirelessly preaching, Xv Zhina would listen attentively. She didn’t know why, but it was as if Hua Dongxu had some magical charm.

In fact, Hua Dongxu was in a good mood now; he quite enjoyed seeing his female student looking defeated.

Here at the Celestial Dragon Continent, not many people would side with her. Without the halo of her grandfather, experiencing some hardships is good.

This trip to the Celestial Dragon Continent, before coming, Hua Dongxu shared the same thought as his compatriots. To see this group of ancient medicine, to suppress them would be even better, allowing modern medicine to step upwards.

You Celestial Dragon Continent claim ancient medicine as your own? In the end, it’s not as good as our modern medicine.

This statement, whether it’s a gimmick or not, if spoken aloud, is quite embarrassing.

But Hua Dongxu unexpectedly found that the goal was not reached; modern medicine didn’t win, instead was defeated miserably.

Nonetheless, Hua Dongxu didn’t feel embarrassed. They lost because their foundation wasn’t as deep as the Celestial Dragon Continent. Just Lin Tian’s Qi Gong alone gave him a huge shock.

Now what he can do is have all Xiaocheng students try to absorb as much ancient medical culture from the Celestial Dragon Continent as possible. Growth comes with pressure.

Xv Zhina looked at Lin Tian and asked, ”Fine, let’s assume your method works, but could you make the acupuncture technique and prescriptions public? Perhaps it could help more people.”

Seeing Xv Zhina’s faint smile, Lin Tian was confused. She lost to him, yet could still smile?

After pondering for a while, Lin Tian understood. This girl wanted him to publicize the method, which equaled throwing gold into the fire to be refined. If it were fake, it would not only harm others and himself but also slap his face painfully.

Lin Tian smiled and said, ”I can publish the method and prescriptions, but one thing to note is that this method is only effective when acupuncture is performed by someone with Qi Gong, and the prescriptions are for conditioning the body, adjusting the dosage according to the condition of the body.”

”Qi Gong?”

Upon hearing this word, not just Xv Zhina and others, but even the students in the classroom gasped in shock.

This term, they had only seen or heard in novels or on TV.

This was the first time they heard someone formally talk about this term in real life.

”Wow, it’s really Qi Gong?”

”Suddenly, I want to learn it, wonder where I could learn it.”

The classroom suddenly became lively. Then, a discordant voice appeared, ”Qi Gong, I know this. Your Celestial Dragon Continent’s traditional health care and wellness method. Adjusting breathing and physical activity to achieve ’adjusting breath, body, and mind.’ Many elderly who’ve been practicing wellness for years can do this, right?”

After listening, Lin Tian pondered and finally shook his head with a smile, ”Your understanding of Qi Gong is a bit shallow. But even achieving what you said, ’adjusting breath, body, and mind,’ isn’t easy.”

Xv Zhina lightly snorted, interestedly looking at Lin Tian, and asked, ”Then, what is the Qi Gong you’re talking about?”

Lin Tian said, ”People have Qi Sea Acupoint, also known as Lower Dantian and Mud Ball Palace. It’s a place to store Qi and essence, the source of Qi Gong. So-called Qi Gong is the accumulation of energy essence over many years, stored in the Sea of Qi, used to explore and impact the body’s meridians, unlocking potential and enhancing physicality.”

”What I mentioned before is Qi Gong cultivated over years, containing a certain amount in the body. Speaking of it is rather abstract, but it indeed exists. Of course, if you don’t believe it, I have no way to convince you.”

Once Lin Tian finished speaking, someone urgently asked, ”Lin Tian, do you know Qi Gong? How is it practiced? Can you teach me?”

Lin Tian smiled, he already expected the response his words would trigger. Naturally explained, ”Qi Gong is something passed down by our ancestors. If you want to try it yourself, there’s plenty of information online, but while entry is simple, mastering its essence is difficult. It is an extremely tedious thing, just try it out.”

What Lin Tian mentioned seemed too vague; Xv Zhina didn’t think it belonged in the realm of curing and saving lives. She asked again, ”Then tell me, with Qi Gong, how do you save people? Does having Qi Gong mean miraculous effects?”

Lin Tian nodded, ”It indeed does. If you don’t believe it, we can give it a try.”

Upon saying this, Xv Zhina suddenly became very interested and asked, ”How do we try?”

”It’s simple, wherever there’s discomfort, I’ll treat it. I won’t use medicine, just a set of silver needles is enough.” Lin Tian said with a smile, ”Of course, if any classmates need, I can also assist for free.”

”Needed, needed.”

The classroom buzzed once again, no one would refuse free medical consultation, especially when they could experience the legendary Qi Gong. Some even became a bit impatient.

Lin Tian then smiled and looked at Hua Dongxu, asking, ”Mr. Hua, should I demonstrate acupuncture on the spot?”

Hua Dongxu smiled wryly, looking at the excited students. If he shakes his head now, wouldn’t he become a public enemy? This request must be agreed upon.
