The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 261: Chapter 261: I Curse

There’s no point in dragging this on, so Lin Tian simply changed the topic: ”Where are you now? I’ll come find you?”

”I’m already home!”

”You know what? I was sitting foolishly alone in Jinluan Hall’s lobby, eating two plates of food, one plate of stir-fried shredded potatoes with shredded carrots, and one plate of stir-fried spinach...”

”It’s really pathetic, you know!” Wu Yong was on the verge of tears.

Lin Tian was amused by Wu Yong’s words: ”Why didn’t you order two meat dishes?”

”Do you know what those two dishes are called? The shredded potatoes with shredded carrots is called the Power of the Prehistoric (红黄洪荒)!”

”The most ridiculous one is the stir-fried spinach ’Fiery Green Dragon Out to Sea’... What ’out to sea’, it’s just a few green spinach leaves in some sauce...”

”These big restaurants feel even more of a rip-off than you!”

Wu Yong snorted, ”I spent over a hundred bucks and didn’t even fill my stomach. I had to turn right at the door and find a braised chicken place to fill up!”

”I’ll make it up to you tomorrow!” Lin Tian could only promise sweetly since Wu Yong had suffered such an injustice.

”Alright, you should head back too. Let’s talk tomorrow. I’m going to play a few games first!”

Lin Tian hung up the phone but didn’t go back, because his next target was Xiaogang.

For what happened tonight, Lin Tian didn’t want Xiaogang to know, but he had to sound him out, subtly ask some questions.

If you’re luring a snake out of its hole, you have to get the last snake out before closing the net...

After getting Xiaogang’s number from Bai Shishi, Lin Tian called him. Surprisingly, Xiaogang accepted Lin Tian’s invitation to meet.

The two arranged to meet at a hotel in a bathhouse.

Following the agreed room number, Lin Tian knocked twice on the door. A young man opened it, blocking the doorway and turning his head to look inside the room.

Standing behind the young man was indeed Xiaogang.

”Long time no see!” Lin Tian smiled on the outside, while inside he was seething with hatred for this guy.

As a person from Xianglong Tea House, to betray Bai Shishi, truly an unprincipled, heartless parasite.

Xiaogang lit a cigarette, calmly asking, ”Why are you here so late?”

”Didn’t I come to see you for something?” Lin Tian kept smiling as he spoke.

”What’s the matter?” Xiaogang didn’t believe Lin Tian had any good reason to find him; after all, Lin Tian had never sought him out before.

”Would you have me stand at the door talking, Gang?”

”Come in and say it!” Xiaogang fully opened the room door, motioning Lin Tian to enter.

Even though he didn’t want Lin Tian to come in, it wasn’t very dignified for one to be inside and the other chatting in the hallway.

Besides, this is a hotel, Lin Tian definitely wouldn’t dare to mess around!

”Speak your mind,” Xiaogang sat on the sofa, lighting another cigarette.

”Gang, do you know about the kidnapping of Miss Bai?” Lin Tian maintained a smile.

”I know!” Xiaogang’s right hand holding the cigarette visibly trembled, then returned to normal: ”That group of kidnappers are truly despicable, always up to no good!”

”Not just despicable, downright damnable!”

Lin Tian paused, then angrily said, ”As they say, good begets good and evil begets evil. This group should all get hit by trucks when they go out, and then whoever’s leading them gets hit by a truck tomorrow!”

”Gang, don’t you think I’m right?” Lin Tian smirked.

”Yes, yes, they should all get hit by a truck when they go out...”

Xiaogang paused briefly before continuing, ”...get hit by a truck!”

”Well, well, Gang, you surely are a veteran of Xianglong Tea House. Even though you set up your own thing now, your cursing is harsh. If these curses really come true, I should let Miss Bai know, you deserve some credit, Gang!” Lin Tian’s words carried a biting sarcasm.

Xiaogang’s hands were shaking uncontrollably, maybe from anger or fear of the curse coming true.

”You didn’t come to tell me this in the middle of the night, did you?” Xiaogang forced calmness, though he was so angry inside he could almost spit blood.

”Actually, I came to see Gang about something else, but I’m just so furious!” Lin Tian continued cursing, ”I curse the kidnappers’ leader’s whole family to perish!”

”...”

This time, Xiaogang said nothing.

”Gang, let’s curse together! Maybe it really will come true!” Lin Tian raised an eyebrow at Xiaogang.

Under Lin Tian’s gaze, Xiaogang, not wanting to arouse suspicion, reluctantly followed, ”I curse the leader’s whole family to die off!”

”Gang, that’s the spirit!” Lin Tian slapped his thigh, ”I’m so mad I could curse these people all day!”

”I curse the leader to step in poop when he goes out!” Lin Tian said.

”I curse...” Xiaogang echoed.

”I curse the leader...”

”I curse...”

The more they cursed, the more sweat beads gathered on Xiaogang’s forehead, lighting one cigarette after another.

”Oh, it feels so good to curse them!” Lin Tian cursed out loud, inwardly feeling a sense of relief, even more satisfying that this fool Xiaogang followed along.

Fighting the urge to laugh, Lin Tian lit a cigarette.

”It’s getting late, if you have something, say it quickly. I need to rest,” Xiaogang grabbed a tissue to wipe the sweat off his forehead, not sure if it was sweat or oil, as it soaked the tissue.

”Do you have plans tomorrow, Gang?” Lin Tian asked.

”No plans, but it is time to rest.” Xiaogang sighed in relief.

Lin Tian lit another cigarette, crossing his legs, ”Actually, Gang, the real reason I came to see you so late is because I have something to ask you!”

”Lin Tian, we’re not really friends nor enemies, just tell me whatever it is,” Xiaogang recognized Lin Tian was getting serious.

”Was Miss Bai’s kidnapping orchestrated by people you sent?” Lin Tian’s smile faded as he earnestly stared at Xiaogang.

Xiaogang was internally cursing up a storm, infuriated that Lin Tian had just involved him in the cursing and now asked if he was the instigator?

Does this mean you just cursed me and made me curse myself?

”Do you think after all that cursing, it would be me?” Xiaogang sarcastically smiled through his anger.

”Who’s to say?”

”Lin Tian, I see you’ve come here tonight with the intent to make trouble?” Xiaogang fumed, slamming his hand on the table, causing the cigarette box and lighter to tremble.

”Gang, you need to think. Would I dare say such a thing without absolute certainty?” Lin Tian’s smile widened.

”Lin Tian, let me tell you the truth, I had nothing to do with the Xianglong Tea House affair!” Xiaogang said seriously.

Lin Tian chuckled, ”It’s best if it’s not you, Gang. If it is, and the curses all manifest, that would be unfortunate!”

”It’s late, Gang, get some rest!” Lin Tian rose and headed for the door.

Lin Tian left the room, Xiaogang calmly smoked on the sofa.

But the calm didn’t last long; Xiaogang erupted, standing up and slamming the items on the table to the floor: ”Lin Tian, I’ll have you meet a terrible end!”

Immediately, Xiaogang pulled out his phone and called an unfamiliar number...
