The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 244: Chapter 244: Interesting

”Hmph, consider yourself sensible. If you dare to do it, I swear I’ll ruin you!” Ruyan rubbed her temples; she drank too much yesterday, and her head still hurts today.

”Thank goodness I held back last night!” Lin Tian, although he didn’t drink much last night, also had a headache.

Rubbing his temples made his head less painful, and Ruyan recalled the scenes from last night: ”Last night’s events were last night’s events, and last night is over. I don’t want you to bring last night’s events into work!”

Ruyan was no longer the woman who drank and played games yesterday; she resumed her cold side again, making herself difficult to approach.

”I understand!” Lin Tian nodded repeatedly; in fact, he had stopped calling Ruyan his wife since just now.

”Things that have passed are past; we will eventually forget!” Ruyan said coldly.

”Uh... do you get up first, or do I get up first!” Forgetting or not forgetting is not up to Ruyan, right now Lin Tian is more concerned about who gets up first.

After all, the two are now on the same bed... the bath towels have long dropped to the ground.

Ruyan thought carefully and said, ”You get up first, then bring me my clothes!”

”No problem!” Lin Tian nodded, picked up the bath towel from the ground, wrapped it around his body, and walked toward the bathroom.

Ruyan lay on the bed with the blanket covering her head, not daring to glance at Lin Tian...

Lin Tian dressed in the bathroom first and then carried Ruyan’s clothes with both hands to the bedroom.

Driven out of the bedroom, Lin Tian hadn’t walked two steps before he heard a ”bang” from the bedroom door behind him.

”Closing the door with such force!” Lin Tian muttered to himself as he went to wash up.

Dissatisfied. Lin Tian was very dissatisfied. Originally, he and Ruyan had a pleasant and harmonious time last night, but who knew she’d turn her back on him this morning. No matter who it was, it would be somewhat uncomfortable.

Lin Tian washed up and came out, and Ruyan sat seriously on the sofa, with a stern face, exuding coldness.

If Ruyan wasn’t passionate as fire last night, then this coldness is fine. But obviously, she was passionate last night, only to end up this cold in the morning. It felt as if she was putting on airs.

Lin Tian particularly had an impulsive thought to push Ruyan down on the sofa and spank her hard, for pretending, just for pretending.

And it would be especially satisfying if accompanied by Ruyan’s cries of pain!

Of course, all these things were Lin Tian’s wishful thinking.

Sitting obediently in front of Ruyan, Lin Tian stayed silent and just stared at her blankly.

”Uh... I’m leaving!” Unable to stand the awkward atmosphere, Ruyan didn’t bother to freshen up and directly left the room.

Leaving Lin Tian alone in the empty space.

”Ugh!” Lin Tian sighed and rubbed his head.

Alcohol sure is something that brings both joy and sadness.

After drinking, you might do anything.

But after drinking... waking up the next day, you’re clueless.

Lying on the bed, Lin Tian drowsily fell asleep again.

Awaking up once more, Lin Tian opened his eyes in a daze and glanced up at the clock hanging on the wall.

”Shoot, it’s already eleven!” Lin Tian rubbed his head and immediately picked up his phone to see if Bai Shishi had called him.

He didn’t go home last night and forgot to inform Miss Bai.

He also didn’t call in sick this morning, just slept away the whole morning.

Under normal circumstances, Bai Shishi’s calls would have already blown up his phone.

Pressing the unlock key, he saw that there were a dozen missed calls, all from one person, Ruyan.

”Could something have happened?” Seeing so many missed calls, Lin Tian’s first reaction was that something big happened.

Quickly dialing Ruyan back, Lin Tian asked breathlessly, ”Hello~!”

”Where are you?” Ruyan’s voice was frantic, her emotions urgent.

”Still at Quanji Hotel, did something happen?”

”Hurry up to the tea house!” Ruyan said anxiously.

”Don’t panic, what’s wrong?” Lin Tian was also anxious, but Ruyan wouldn’t say what happened, making him even more anxious.

”Someone claiming to be Bai Shishi’s younger brother showed up, saying Xianglong Tea House is now fully under his control!”

”Younger brother?” Lin Tian was stunned, trying to search for such a person in his mind, and soon a familiar name appeared.

Bai Jiaming!

Bai Shishi’s younger brother. He had seen this person once at the Bai Family mansion, just exchanged a few words, not knowing much about him.

But the thing that impressed Lin Tian most was the Bai Family’s absurd rules, which had caused him to fall out with the elder generation of the Bai Family, and even Bai Shishi left in anger.

”What’s his name?” Lin Tian decided to confirm if it was the same person.

”Bai Jiaming!” Ruyan uttered three words.

”Why are you telling me this? Quickly contact Miss Bai!” Lin Tian suddenly felt that Ruyan telling him this was somewhat redundant.

Bai Jiaming went to the tea house, just directly telling Bai Shishi would do. Considering Bai Shishi’s passion for Xianglong Tea House and willingness to fall out with the Bai Family, even if Bai Jiaming went there, he might not have a good outcome.

”Miss Bai is missing, and her phone is off!”

”What?” Listening to this, Lin Tian was dumbfounded.

Could it be that Bai Shishi is in danger again?

It shouldn’t be, right? Rationally, Wang Quan is already done for, how could Miss Bai still be in danger?

”Are you sure Miss Bai is missing? Could she be sleeping at home, with her phone just out of battery?” Lin Tian asked skeptically.

”I’ve already been to Miss Bai’s house and there’s no one there!”

”Plus, the phone is turned off, I’ve already reported to the police. The police said Miss Bai’s Mercedes was parked at an abandoned factory in the suburbs, but they didn’t see anyone!”

Ruyan urged, ”Stop asking, hurry up to the tea house!”

”Got it, I’ll be back right away!” Lin Tian hung up the phone but didn’t head directly to Xianglong Tea House immediately; instead, he sat calmly on the bed thinking.

”Miss Bai inexplicably disappeared, Bai Jiaming appeared at Xianglong Tea House at this time!”

Lin Tian rubbed his chin, ”Interesting!”

”Whether it’s Bai Jiaming, Xiaogang, or Du Dahai, I guarantee this time, no matter who it is, I’ll deal with you!” Lin Tian narrowed his eyes, his face full of sinister intent.

Ruyan’s office.

This time, Lin Tian didn’t just barge in; instead, he gently knocked the door.

After a short while, the door was opened, but unfortunately, the person wasn’t Ruyan; it was a young woman wearing sunglasses, with short hair styled like Sassoon, exuding vitality, and dressed in a black tracksuit covering a well-proportioned body.

Just by taking a glance at her, Lin Tian got a sense: ”This woman is a fighter!”

”Who are you?” Lin Tian asked politely.

Unfortunately, the young woman didn’t speak but motioned for Lin Tian to come in.
