The Invincible Strongest Student

Chapter 232: Chapter 232: The Truth Revealed

Facing a crowd of reporters, saying he wasn’t nervous would be a lie. After all, it was Lin Tian’s first time accepting an interview in front of so many journalists.

”Lin Tian, as the top scorer in the unified exam, could you share your usual study methods?”

A female reporter asked the first question.

”Study methods?” Lin Tian was stunned.

Because his study method was very simple: read books, remember all the content, and then his brain would automatically answer the questions.

But how could he say that out loud?

Otherwise, people would definitely think he was a freak.

After clearing his throat twice, Lin Tian said in a serious tone, ”Read more books and do more exercises regularly, there are no shortcuts in learning. Take it step by step!”

Clap, clap, clap.

The crowd below immediately gave applause.

But the applause made Lin Tian blush. Were they really that excited?

”Lin Tian, I want to ask you a question. Originally, you were a student at Third High School, but you transferred to First High because you injured someone with a knife?”

A male reporter asked a tricky question.

It was obvious this reporter wasn’t interested in Lin Tian’s studies and the exam, he was there to dig out gossip.

Hearing the question, Lin Tian laughed, ”Someone among you probably interviewed Mr. Fu at Third High yesterday, right? Even if you didn’t, you must have seen the news yesterday!”

All the reporters nodded in unison.

”Actually, I want to say that you can’t judge a situation by hearing one side of the story. After all, you say you’re right, and I say I’m right!”

”Then, Lin Tian, is this matter true or not?”

The male reporter sensed that Lin Tian was avoiding the question, and, with a keen nose for news, felt something must be going on, and pursued the question again.

”It’s true!”

However, Lin Tian definitely did not admit, ”But I didn’t injure anyone with a knife, I was framed!”

Wow!

As soon as he said this, all the reporters were astonished, not expecting that the top scorer could have such a disgraceful side.

”Actually, this matter was orchestrated by Mr. Fu!”

With this statement, while the reporters were still shocked, they quickly jotted down this explosive news.

”Could you tell us what exactly happened?” Another female reporter spoke up.

”To put it this way, my studies weren’t great before, I was always among the worst in the class and year!”

”I offended someone very influential at school, who must have talked to Mr. Fu, and then I was framed!”

”A few people cornered me with knives, and one of them stabbed himself, then falsely accused me!”

Lin Tian was not prepared to take the fall for Mr. Fu, so he decided to reveal the entire story, as for what comes after,

after all, you are the principal, I am not!

”As expected, an incident involving injuring someone with a knife should involve the police, right? Yet, I didn’t even enter the police station, it was handled internally by the school!”

At this point, Lin Tian sneered, ”As for how it was handled, I was expelled!”

”So I say someone colluded with Mr. Fu to frame me!”

”Really?”

”Is it true?”

The more the reporters listened, the more surprised they became, not expecting such a thrilling twist in the story.

”Anyway, I’ve said it, whether you believe it is up to you. As a man, I definitely did not lie!” Lin Tian said righteously.

”Then, Lin Tian, I want to ask...”

Another reporter was about to ask a question, but at this moment, Mr. Xu interrupted, ”Half an hour is up, the Q&A session is over!”

The reporters still wanted to ask, so none of them intended to leave.

Seeing this, Mr. Xu advised, ”Lin Tian still has other people to meet later, the schedule is really tight, please understand!”

Since the eviction notice had been given, these reporters couldn’t stay thick-skinned, and besides, the news they got was already explosive enough, so they quickly left to work on their stories.

It was believed that by tomorrow morning, it would be headline news.

After the reporters left, Mr. Xu said to Lin Tian, ”I have to thank you, actually. When Liou Qingcheng talked to me, I wasn’t keen on accepting you, but you surprised us all by becoming the top scorer in the exam!”

”It’s me who should thank Mr. Xu for taking me in!” Lin Tian expressed his gratitude.

”The meeting later is something I arranged privately, after all, as a principal, some human feelings are hard to refuse, so I hope you could spare another half an hour for it!” Mr. Xu said in a pleading tone.

”What is it?” Lin Tian asked doubtfully.

”Representatives from several prestigious universities!” Mr. Xu said, taking out his phone to make a call.

Soon, five middle-aged men walked into the office.

”Lin Tian?” When the five saw Lin Tian, their eyes lit up, more than when seeing money.

Lin Tian couldn’t handle their gaze, ”Uh, who are you?”

”I’m the representative from Xuanyi University!”

”I’m the representative from Martial Arts University!”

”I’m the representative from Dianxue University!”

”I’m...”

Hearing these prestigious universities send their representatives, Lin Tian was stunned. Am I really this in demand?

”Lin Tian, if you decide to attend Xuanyi University, the school will offer a full four-year scholarship and direct admission to doctoral and master’s programs!” The Xuanyi University representative proposed.

Scholarships, especially from prestigious universities, could amount to twenty or thirty thousand a year.

Basically, they were saying: come study with us, and we’ll make things easy for you while also giving you money!

Upon hearing the conditions Xuanyi offered, the Martial Arts University representative immediately said, ”We’ll add another ten thousand dollars!”

”I’ll add fifteen thousand!”

”I’ll add twenty thousand!”

Confronted with escalating offers, Lin Tian scratched his head and embarrassedly said, ”All your offers are very good!”

”So who will you choose?” the five university representatives asked in unison.

Lin Tian smiled slightly, ”I choose none of you!”

The five university representatives were taken aback, exchanging glances in disbelief at Lin Tian’s words.

After all, these were the five most prestigious universities on the Celestial Dragon Continent, and Lin Tian chose none.

Even Mr. Xu beside him stared at Lin Tian in disbelief, unable to understand what was going on in his head.

Lin Tian’s answer must have taken everyone by surprise.

”Then where are you planning to attend university?” The Martial Arts University representative asked incredulously.

Lin Tian replied, ”Kanyue City Medical University!”

This statement left everyone stunned once again.

”You want to study medicine?” Mr. Xu finally understood why Lin Tian hadn’t chosen any of the five prestigious universities.

”That’s right! I had already made up my mind before the unified exam!”

Lin Tian apologized to the representatives, ”Sorry you came all this way for nothing!”

Mr. Xu began to persuade, ”Lin Tian, think carefully! Studying medicine isn’t easy. Even though your exam results are excellent, going to Kanyue City Medical University might waste your talent!”
