“Those are healing pills…

I can’t believe it, the young master is actually distributing high-ranked healing pills to the injured mages!” Gabriel exclaimed, shock evident on his face.

The four other Tier 6 mages beside him mirrored his disbelief, it was common knowledge that the Gordon Clan didn’t even possess cultivation pills, let alone something as rare as healing pills, yet here Alec was, casually tossing out ten of them.

Healing pills were incredibly valuable, just one could stabilize someone with critical injuries, and if high-ranked enough, it could even pull someone back from the brink of death, if they still had breath left In them.

They were also notoriously difficult to refine, which is why the limited supply produced by high-level alchemists was immediately seized by ancient and a few times by very powerful high-tier clans.

For a mid-tier clan like the Gordons, possessing such pills was almost unthinkable, they lacked the power to acquire and protect them, the prestige to commission a high-rank alchemist to refine them, and the wealth to afford them.

That was why everyone watching was stunned, some even found themselves wishing they could consume one, knowing they might never see such a pill again in their lifetime.

As they stood in awe, one of the injured Tier 5 mages who had taken a healing pill didn’t just recover, he began breaking through on the spot, rising from the Low Tier 5 Mage Realm to the Mid Tier 5 Mage Realm.

All eyes snapped to him as they felt the surge of elemental particles gathering around him, making it clear just how potent the pill had been.

Even Alec was caught off guard., as he had only intended to heal their injuries, but it seemed the mage in question had been stuck at a bottleneck for sometime, unable to advance, and the pill had provided just the push he needed to break through.

The pill that had been digested inside his body didn’t just heal his injuries, it also cleansed his mana veins, clearing blockages in his mana flow.

This allowed him to finally break through the bottleneck that had been stopping his progress.

But that wasn’t all.

Alec stepped forward, placing his right hand on the mage’s wrist, and closing his eyes as he used his mental energy to inspect the changes in the mage’s body.

Thanks to the guidance of his system spirit, Alec had been steadily mastering his mental abilities, learning how to exploit his mental stats to their highest potential.

This was one of the significant advantages he had over other Mid-rank mages, because even Tier 6 mages typically needed to reach their peak before delving deeply into mental cultivation, as they only started cultivating their mental energy when they entered the Tier 6 mage realm.

Alec’s eyes opened with a satisfied smile, his quick inspection revealed that the mage’s mana veins had slightly expanded after the healing pill had cleared the blockages, it was as if they were adapting to help him circulate mana more efficiently, an unexpected but fortunate development.

As everyone stared at the ten mages who had consumed the pills, an unmistakable wave of jealousy filled the air.

Normally, no one would ever wish to be among the severely injured, but with the incredible benefits attached to it, many secretly wished they had been in their place.

Before long, the ten mages were back in peak condition, standing tall once more.

Alec, with both hands behind his back, watched them with an expectant gaze.

“If you’re all ready, I’d like to move on to the next course of action,” he announced.

“Wait, young master,” one of the Tier 5 mages suddenly spoke up, his voice filled with hesitation and disbelief.

“I got a good look at the pill before I swallowed it, as much as I don’t want to believe it, but with how fast my injuries healed, I have a strong suspicion… Please tell me, did you just feed us Tier 6 healing pills?”

He could hardly believe what had just happened, but he was certain of what he had seen, the number 6 engraved on the pill before it entered his mouth.

The moment he voiced his suspicion, the other mages also turned to Alec, waiting for confirmation.

While they knew healing pills were treated as sacred relics in most clans, they couldn’t ignore the undeniable fact, that no Tier 5 pill could heal injuries of a Tier 5 mages this instantaneous, let alone completely restore their bodies, even if the Tier 5 healing pill would do the same it would eventually take some time.

Deep down, they understood that only a pill beyond their current tier could have produced such results.

But none of them wanted to dwell on it too much as they felt they already owe their Young master too much, especially the mage who had just made a breakthrough.

The realization that their mana veins had been cleansed and their mana now flowed more freely left them all stunned, feeling if they cultivated properly, breakthroughs that once seemed distant now felt closer than ever.

“Yes,” Alec finally confirmed.

A collective gasp spread through the group as his words sank in.

“And just so you all know, healing pills aren’t the only thing I have,” Alec continued, his voice carrying an air of certainty.

“Every day you train with me, you have a chance to earn a reward, that’s if you impress me, don’t worry, these will be things you’ve never had access to before.

I am personally funding this war effort, and that’s why I expect so much from you all.”

The mages’ minds went into overdrive, their thoughts spiralled, not even processing the rest of Alec’s words after he mentioned rewards.

As they felt If healing pills were just the beginning, what else could he possibly have in store for them?

This confirmed the Tier 6 mages’ suspicions, Alec was the one who owned those pills, as there was no way the clan would be so wasteful as to use Tier 6 healing pills for mere training.

Only a young mage with immense wealth could afford to be that generous, and they all made a mental note to hold on to their rich young master’s leg tightly.

“If you’re all done with your questions, let’s continue like I said, cast your Earth Spear spells at me, full power.” Alec said, his voice steady.

Causing the Tier 5 mages to stare at him in shock.

He wanted to take on the combined attack of twenty Tier 5 mages head-on?

The thought was baffling.

Though Earth Spear wasn’t their strongest spell, it was still a powerful basic attack, even if each spear alone wasn’t deadly to him, they felt the sheer volume of them being casted by so many could overwhelm most mages.

As they hesitated, still trying to process his order, Alec’s voice rang out once more.
