The Golem Mage

Chapter 475 475: Deadline Approaching (1).

From atop a crumbling building, a lone figure stared out at a deserted village, the once thriving community now lay in ruins, its buildings reduced to unrecognizable debris, and an eerie emptiness pervaded its streets, infested with countless sea demons.

This ill-fated village, situated near the sea, fell victim to a relentless horde of sea demonʼs that had attacked, unable to withstand the onslaught and lacking the support of any nearby city, the villagers were swiftly and easily defeated.

The sea demons descended upon the village, ravaging and devouring its inhabitants without mercy, sparing no one, not even the innocent children.

The devastating consequences extended beyond this village that the neighbouring villages, alarmed by the sea demonsʼ rampage, chose to abandon their homes, seeking refuge in the safety of the cities nearby, left unchecked, the sea demons roamed the scant remaining village regions, establishing their reign of terror.

The cities, once disdainful of the sea demon horde, now trembled in fear, as the sea demons had proliferated to such an extent that the cities could only muster a passive defense when united now.

However, a glimmer of hope emerged as rumours spread of the mastermind behind these sea demon attack had come to the surface, it was believed that killing this leader would disperse the remaining sea demons, leaving them leaderless and vulnerable.

Yet, a daunting obstacle loomed before them, the leader of the sea demons was purportedly at the pinnacle of Tier 5 realm, a level beyond the reach of the low-level cities nearby, These cities, with their highest rank of Tier 4, were ill-prepared to venture into this sea demon-infested territory, and even if they did they found themselves paralyzed, unable to confront the mastermind as the mission to eliminate the sea demon leader seemed insurmountable to them.

They would have to face numerous sea demon commanders before reaching the ultimate mastermind, the challenge appeared almost impossible, however, amidst this bleak situation, the lone figure managed to infiltrate the heart of the sea demon stronghold.

He was Standing above the sea demons, with hands nonchalantly tucked into his pockets, Though his appearance had changed considerably – as he was taller, with his well-defined body, and the red Salamander spirit equipment tattooed design accentuating his rugged charm, while his hair cascaded in waves of red and brown, dancing freely with the wind.

The mage infiltrating the sea demonsʼ base was none other than Alec Gordons, but he had undergone a remarkable transformation. Notably, he had grown several inches taller, now boasting a stature of about six feet, he was beginning to resemble the epitome of a Prince Charming, flanked on either side by Titan and the system spirit golem.

”What are your thoughts?” Alec queried, directing his question to the system spirit golem.

”If we want to succeed, we must be quick and decisive, time is of the essence, for the longer we delay, the more difficult it becomes to eliminate the mastermind. Once he escapes back into the sea, we will lose him,” the system spirit golem explained, emphasizing the urgency of their mission.

”So, our best course of action would be to create a distraction substantial enough to provoke his intervention or escape, correct?” Alec asked, his expression growing colder.

”Well, I didnʼt explicitly state that, but when you frame it that way, who am I to disagree? Just ensure that you are capable of apprehending him,” the system spirit golem responded, its expression contorting into a twisted visage.

”Well, I can assure you that wonʼt pose a challenge, as if thereʼs one thing Iʼm confident about, itʼs that this bastard will regret ever setting foot on land and preying on humans,” Alec retorted, a small smile gracing his face as he summoned all his golems.

The simultaneous emergence of the golems caused the air to grow slightly heavier, their presence creating a tangible synergy, and finally, the sea demons took notice.

At the forefront, one of the sea beasts unleashed a deafening roar, sending forth a powerful sound wave, However, Titan swiftly thrust his palm forward, causing the visible sound current to freeze and shatter in the following moment.

”What are our orders, master?” Titan inquired, his face void of emotion.

Adorned in a beautiful suit of ice armor, as his left hand still tightly gripped a menacing mace adorned with long spikes.

”Kill them all without mercy!” Alec commanded.

In an instant, Oni disappeared, shrouded in shadows, and when he reappeared again he was already in the midst of the sea demons.
