THE GOD EATER

Chapter 1254: How Dao Lords Advance.

He especially liked hearing Black Chain roaring in anger and promising to destroy him. Unfortunately, the stronger he was, the stronger the force of repulsion from the Sea of Worlds, and the faster he was forced to ascend. Even so, he raised his previous limit from 13 billion years of lifespan to 15 billion.

These two changes were good, and they indeed brought a smile to his face. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there.

The rest of the changes he underwent were all bad news, starting from the loss of his Divine Court, the shrinking of his Domain Power, the reduction of his Authority, and the lowered ceiling of his Entropy capacity.

The worst of these changes was to his Entropy. His peak Entropy capacity fell from 3,310,049,600 to 1,995,245,000. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the 1,995,245,000 is nearly full now.

1,963,356,293 of the 1,995,245,000 capacity had already been occupied. So 98.4% of his Entropy capacity was already used up, leaving 31,888,707 units.

When he saw this, the smile on his face fell, and his heart grew cold as he thought, ’That attack from the guardian really did a number on me.’

’I really would have died if Fenrir hadn’t managed to detach from me before that attack struck me. But even now, I am still carrying around some of the Entropy from that attack.’

’At this rate, a casual attack from any Dao Lord would be the end of me. It seems I will need to establish the Divine Mountain faster than usual.’

’I should wait for the Gemini younglings before I set it up, though. That way, the upper realm would be too chaotic for Black Chains and the others to bother with me,’ he thought, making up his mind.

The Gemini younglings haven’t arrived yet, so if he set up the Olympic Court now, there would be fewer reasons for Black Chains and the others to hesitate about attacking him.

It would take some time before Black Chain and the others discover that the Gemini younglings are weak and won’t attack them. Until then, they will be wary of the Gemini younglings and won’t come to attack him yet.

He felt that it was important to wait a while longer for the Gemini younglings to arrive because Black Chain was still hunting him and wanted to kill him for a lot of reasons.

There was also the fact that establishing the Olympic Court when the Gemini younglings were around would ensure that all of them would notice the Divine Mountain immediately and compete to join it instead of stumbling onto it one by one after they arrived.

Since he wasn’t establishing a Domain yet, he decided to focus on strengthening himself. The first thing he did was to continue working to increase the conversion efficiency of the Devouring Supreme Metac.

Scratching his chin, he thought, ’Now that I am about to reach 10% conversion efficiency, I am close to raising my strength. So I should focus on it with more effort than before. Fortunately, I have enough lifespan to continue pushing it.’

As a Dao Lord, his strength would increase when he activated more godheads, fused Supreme Metacs with the activated godheads, and converted them into stars.

Not only would new stars provide more divinity for him, but they would also increase the size of the Domains he could establish on each super world. Plus, each successive activation of the stars would also allow him to increase the volume of the Supreme Metacs by creating copies of the Supreme Metac within the

So a two-star celestial could have twice the volume of their Supreme Metac, and a three-star celestial would have three times the volume of a one-star celestial.

From the information he got from Black Chain and the other old Dao Lords, and based on the secrets he gleaned from the minds of Gemini younglings, the requirements to advance are the same for everyone.

To advance from one-star celestial to two-star celestial, he would need to achieve 10% conversion efficiency on his first star. Only then would the first star be able to fuse with celestial gold.

Once the first star has fused with celestial gold, 100 units of celestial gold, to be precise, he would be able to accommodate a second star.

After that, he would need to raise the two stars to 20% conversion efficiency before he can accommodate a third. Then he would need to fuse 300 units of celestial gold into each star for a total of 600 units.

The first star would already have 100 units of celestial gold in it. So it would only need 200 units of celestial gold. The second star wouldn’t have any celestial gold in it, so it would need a fresh supply of 300 units of celestial gold to reach the required milestone.

Only when both stars were at 20% conversion efficiency, with 300 units of celestial gold in each, could they accommodate a third star. Slowly and surely, the requirements would increase and become more difficult.

The increase in difficulty for an additional star would be 10% conversion efficiency and 3 times as much celestial gold. This would continue until all ten godheads are fully activated at 90% efficiency and 1,968,300 units of celestial gold in each star.

Apparently, this iron law has remained unchanged for billions of years. The only difference between Dao Lord and Dao Lords is when they met these requirements and successfully advanced.

He didn’t know how ancient cultivators discovered these requirements, but he knew that he hadn’t been able to bypass them so far. Since he couldn’t take a shortcut in the requirements, he could only speed up the time it would take him to meet them.

So far, he was making a lot of progress in that direction. He had a tried-and-tested method he really liked, and it was very efficient. In his opinion, there was nothing more to ask of the Hunting Form Metac.
