The Genius Evolution Store

Ellia looked at the report with a troubled expression. She couldn’t help but recall what happened yesterday.

”My father sent his butler to do something to Auric. Nothing serious happened, but it almost destroyed the family.

”What kind of existence is that blue card? Does it mean anything? Why would it do something for Auric?”

Ellia looked down, remembering something. ”Now that I think about it, Auric’s current status has changed completely. He’s currently the most talented person in this country.

”Has the country made the move directly? There is a person who can mobilize even the former chief adjudicator. The president? I don’t know what’s going on, but Auric’s value has changed completely.”

Ellia felt relieved. The problem had been solved. However, she was also worried.

Auric had been hiding his talent all this time, but because of her, he had to reveal that talent to the world.

Ellia sighed. She didn’t think a single company was worth all this hassle.

”Auric probably just wants to make things even, but this is no way... even.” Ellia shook her head helplessly.

”Miss!” Her secretary suddenly knocked on her door. ”There is someone who would like to meet you. He said that you definitely want to meet him because he wants to fulfill his promise to your friend.”

”My friend?” Ellia raised her eyebrows. She paused for a moment before accepting. ”Bring him in.”

A moment later, the secretary opened the door. To her surprise, Floyd was actually the person coming.

”Yo.” Floyd grinned, entering the room.

Ellia’s eyes turned cold. She never thought that Floyd, the candidate she was supposed to marry, was bold enough to visit her.

She stated, ”You’ve got ten seconds to get out.”

”Chill, woman. I’m not here to fight you. I’m here to fulfill my promise to Auric.”

”Auric?” Ellia frowned.

Floyd grabbed the brown envelope and tossed it onto her table.

Ellia was confused. What kind of deal had Auric made with Floyd?

”After daring to swallow the two companies from my family, you still think that I will believe you? If you dare to touch Auric, I’m definitely going to make you suffer.”

”I guess he hasn’t told you about our alliance.” Floyd chuckled. ”You think too highly of yourself, Ellia Stroph Astler. Others might fawn over you, but not me. Just open it. You will understand everything.”

”...” Ellia was still suspicious, but she first wanted to know what was going on. If Floyd really tricked Auric or did something to him, she wouldn’t forgive him.

However, that thought changed after opening the envelope. She skimmed the content of the document and immediately raised her head. ”You...”

”That’s the promise. Well, I actually had an easier time for unknown reasons, but I’m not complaining.” Floyd chuckled. ”Auric has agreed to share his research with me. That research is much more useful than your company’s after all. In exchange, I will grab the company you’ve sacrificed for him as well as one of your parents’ companies and give them to you.”

Ellia took another look at the contract. There was nothing suspicious. In fact, because of this additional company, her parents wouldn’t dare to come at her anymore.

”Anyway, I have fulfilled my promise. You just need to sign the document and process the transfer.” Floyd snorted and turned away. ”I don’t know what he sees in you. If it were me, I would have chosen a girl from a rich family that doesn’t really have any family problems. Hahaha.”

”...” Ellia didn’t expect that Auric actually gave these two companies to her. Because of her questionable actions before, she had to let go of one of her companies. But this time, she actually managed to gain her parents’ company.

Floyd simply walked away as he didn’t care about Ellia at all.

Ellia looked at the documents again. Her heart felt heavy.

Revealing his talent was definitely too excessive if he wanted to make things equal. But giving back this company and even stealing a company from her parents was definitely beyond excessive.

”With these two companies as well as the previous mistake that caused the family’s stock price to decrease by 27%, my parents won’t be able to do anything to me for several years at least.

”If I can manage things well, by the time they can do something, I should have grown far too big for them to do anything.”

Ellia closed her eyes. This was basically handing her the chance to escape from her family’s influence.

This was definitely not the way to equalize things.

”You are paying too much. This is basically handing me my full freedom.” Ellia looked up. ”I guess before thinking about anything else, the first thing I should do is to thank him.”

Ellia took a deep breath before signing the document. Then she came out, finding her secretary.

”Miss! Where are you planning to go?” the secretary asked, ready to follow her.

”I’m going back to school.” Ellia gave her the document. ”Process this for me.”

”Yes.” The secretary was surprised. She thought Ellia planned to quit school, but when she checked the document, she realized why Ellia looked so happy.

...

Kallarnos University.

”We are going to close soon.” Auric stretched his body while yawning. ”A lot of things happened in the past two weeks.”

”Agreed. Are you alright?” Milinda asked.

”I’m not sure.” Auric showed his phone. ”It hasn’t stopped ringing since yesterday.”

”Hehehe. There are a lot of people who want you. The local families... even my family has asked me about you after knowing I’m working here.” Katarina chuckled. ”Well, there are probably foreign forces that will approach you.”

Auric shrugged. ”Well, I will just handle it in one way or another. For now, I intend to meet the Supreme Chief of the Evolution Association tomorrow. So, the store will probably open much later than usual.”

”You’re still going to open the store?”

”Of course. It’s discipline.” Auric nodded without hesitation. He wanted to maintain that discipline after all. ”Are you still coming?”

”Definitely. I’ve promised you two weeks, so I will make sure to handle the last two days. There will surely be an influx of patients coming tomorrow.” Katarina smiled.

”Perhaps.” Auric thought for a moment. ”Now that I think about it, what is happening in the school? I’ve been too busy to even keep track of everything.”

”Well, a lot of things have happened.” Katarina showed a piece of news.

[I am Victim A. Kallarnos University’s students are discriminating against other people who aren’t their students. I am the victim of...]

”There are a lot of things going on. Well, Kallarnos University won’t be the same anymore. However, I doubt that Kallarnos University will fall as the first university.”

”I guess the scandals have been buried all this time.” Auric nodded in understanding.

”Yeah.” She nodded. ”In any case, the vice principal has been fired. The principal is probably busy taking care of the aftermath. He’s probably starting to regret bringing you here.”

Auric chuckled. ”If there is nothing wrong with the place, something like this won’t happen.”

”There are a few others. For example, the student council president. It is an internal investigation, but the student council president is currently stepping down for not reacting.

”However, it’s said that he’s been inciting this kind of discrimination. Apparently, there’s evidence suggesting that he might be the one who dropped a clue to Trevor.

”According to Rose, the student council president told her to make an investigation about you and other exchange students. In addition, he has made a lot of derogatory remarks. But she hasn’t been able to prove that the student council president has taken any action yet.” Katarina explained.

”Well, the situation has already been handled. If that truly happens, I will see if there’s something else I need to do. Besides, he has lost his position. Isn’t that a kind of prestigious position?” Auric asked.

”Definitely. That position is for the most talented and the strongest. Strength is necessary, but the burden of taking care of the entire student body is also big. That’s why taking this position shows that not only do you have the talent, but you also possess good management skills.”

”Sounds like someone you want to recruit.” Auric nodded.

”If you don’t belong to any organization but manage to reach this position, everyone will practically come to invite you.”

”Sounds troublesome.” Auric nodded in understanding.

”For the time being, no one is daring to do anything to you, especially after all this mess. The media are ready to expose anything.”

Auric realized that he truly had done something big in the capital city. This university had to pay a huge price too. Still, Eric almost died because of that small problem. He didn’t sympathize with the university at all.

”By the way, do you really not intend to stay at Kallarnos University?”

”You know the answer. Besides, if I join here, people will definitely look at me like a troublemaker.”

”That’s...” Katarina couldn’t exactly deny that possibility. ”I guess that’s it. What are you going to do after this?”

”I think nothing. I’ll just stay quiet and return. Making another move will just cause a headache for me. Well, I should thank Professor Schad since he provided me with this great opportunity.”

”True.” Katarina nodded.

”Well, you need to continue practicing the fusion. I bet your bullets will become more complex and unpredictable.”

”Don’t worry. I know that.” Katarina chuckled. ”If you ever come to the capital city again, you should call me.”

Auric smiled.

After another hour, Auric finally closed the store. He bid goodbye to the two girls before heading to Professor Schad’s office.

”Student Auric.” Professor Schad smiled. ”What brings you here?”

”I come to thank you, Professor.” Auric politely bowed to him. ”Thanks to you, I am able to find the fusion, which is what I really need going forward. Besides, this opportunity allows me to do something this big.”

”Not at all. I should be the one thanking you. Without you, my research wouldn’t have finished.” Professor Schad extended his hand.

Auric shook his hand firmly.

”Good luck with your studies, Auric Elfe. Although our meeting was brief, I know how talented you are. I believe you can achieve what you want if you put your mind to it. Don’t be blinded by achievement and focus on your improvement.”

”Thank you, Professor. I’ll do my best.” Auric nodded.

”Are you going back to your city tonight?”

”No. The flight is on Sunday. Well, I’ve been so busy that I haven’t even done sightseeing.”

”Hahaha.” Professor Schad laughed. ”In that case, I shouldn’t keep you any longer. Enjoy the rest of your time here.”

”Yes. Thank you, Professor.” Auric politely smiled at him and walked away.

It looked like he had done everything at Kallarnos University. That was why Auric could finally think about other things.

However, when he was about to reach the door, Lindwurm suddenly noticed hostility and warned him out loud. ”Auric!”

”!!!” Auric turned around and saw Professor Schad suddenly lunged toward him and grabbed him by the neck, slamming him to the wall.

”Gah!”
