The First Store System

Chapter 729 The Store Upgrading Quest(10)

”I donʼt think I need to explain about my products. I will straight away present them to you,” Aakesh smilingly stated as he glanced around the seventeen Guhyakas sitting in the room.

The next moment, Aakesh waved his hands, and soon several bottles appeared on the table.

Each bottle contained a pill belonging to a different grade, and on the bottleʼs lid, the pillʼs information was displayed.

The Gupta family leader took the initiative and grabbed the nearest bottle to him. Following the lead of the leader, all the sixteen other family members did the same, with some bottles remaining on the table.

The family headʼs face turned ugly after reading the detail of the pill. He couldnʼt help but look toward Aakesh with a hint of rage in his eyes. Aakesh remained unfazed by the anger and continued smiling.

The family head knew there was no point in him being angry, and he put the bottle down and picked another one up.

As he read the information, his eyes suddenly started shining, and not long after, his face turned ugly as if it had seen something which it shouldnʼt have.

The earlier reason for his anger was the details of the pill. It was nothing but a healing pill, and that too only of the medium grade.

The family head had grabbed another bottle after ontrolling his anger. This time, he got a shock of his life as the pillʼs detail stated it to be able to upgrade the Tao Palace of a cultivator.

Before today, he had never even heard whether the Tao Palace could be upgraded or not, and here, a strange merchant had come to him who was selling pills with such capability.

For a moment, a doubt about its authenticity appeared in the family headʼs mind, but his gut feeling told him that the product was authentic. People in the business sector primarily relied on their gut feeling, so the leader also trusted it.

His face had then turned ugly since the man here wasnʼt to sell his products but to prove the superiority of his products, and the business of the Gupta family was at stake.

The family head then put the bottle down and grabbed another one.

Time flew by, and soon, all the family members had ugly faces after studying the details of the pills sold by the man.

”Do you have pills that could prove better than my items?” Aakesh asked after the Guhyakas stopped studying the pills sold by the store.

The Guhyakas had ugly faces, but they still shook their head since they couldnʼt lie when it came to business.

”Itʼs only the start,” Aakesh added and snapped his fingers.

The next moment, all the pills on the table disappeared. One of the Guhyaka had an unwilling face as he looked at the pills disappearing.

”Mr. Aakesh, donʼt you know cultivation pills have no effects on us, can pill sold by you help us?” The Guhyaka asked Aakesh, gritting his teeth.

The Gupta family had a vast amount of wealth in their control, so purchasing high-quality pills and increasing the cultivation level of a few family members wasnʼt a big deal for them. Despite that, the highest cultivation level a Guhyaka had reached was Soul Formation, which only allowed the respective Guhyaka to live for around a hundred years.

Pills had no effect on the Guhyakas, so they could only cultivate on their own and increase their lifespan by a few years or decades. Even lifespan-increasing materials did not work on the Guhyakas.

The Guhyaka was truly an unfortunate race, filled with several disadvantages.

The other family members couldnʼt help but look at their family member in surprise, but soon their eyes turned toward Aakesh as well. They felt too much pain seeing their family member dying at such an early age despite having a large pool of resources. While some races even became Immortals despite not having a billionth of the wealth of the Gupta family.

”No, even the pills sold by me would have no effect on you,” Aakesh honestly told the Guhyakas.

Tapi scoffed after hearing Aakeshʼs response.

ʼHmph, then whatʼs the point of having superior products?ʼ She thought in her heart but didnʼt dare to utter those words out as she was the one with the most fear of Aakesh in her heart.

”It doesnʼt help that doesnʼt mean others will not,” Aakesh knew what the Guhyakas were thinking, so he smilingly spoke.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and soon, a few pages appeared on the table.

”Go ahead, take a look at it,” Aakesh smiled.

The Gupta family did, and each of them grabbed one page from the table since there were only seventeen of them.

The next moment, all of them raised their heads and looked toward Aakesh with extreme shock in their eyes.

”You sell Immortal grade cultivation arts?” One of the Guhyaka tremblingly spoke as the page in her hand contained details of a cultivation art.

Aakesh didnʼt speak anything in response but only smiled.

Despite having vast wealth in their control, the Gupta family didnʼt own a single Immortal grade cultivation art. Even though the time to use them never arrived, having an Immortal grade cultivation art was also a status symbol.

All seventeen Guhyakas had a different cultivation art in their hands, and all of them were Immortal grade. At first, they thought that all of them were one, but when one of the members couldnʼt help but speak the line printed on the page loudly, only then did they find it.

They couldnʼt help but have terrible expressions as even the top merchant family wasnʼt capable of selling this many cultivation arts.

All of them had ugly expressions on their faces since the way things were going now; the family could see that the Gupta family wouldnʼt stay in business after today.

”The time to make the decision hasnʼt arrived yet. I still have things left,” Aakesh suddenly spoke and snapped fingers.

The next moment, a familiar scene happened as all the seventeen pages disappeared from the hands of the Guhyakas. Not long after, Aakesh waved his hands, and a bunch of different items covered the table.

The guards standing behind Guhyakas had a change in their expressions as they looked at the items on the table.
