Supreme Devouring God

Following the direction indicated by the Little Fairy, Qin Chen looked over.

They were some fruits that did not seem particularly special at first glance.

From the outside, they looked like common wild fruits found everywhere. Perhaps it was precisely because of this that Qin Chen had overlooked these fruits.

”Do not be fooled by the exterior of these fruits. Once you peel away the skin, you will know what these fruits truly are.”

The Little Fairy clearly knew what was on Qin Chen’s mind and spoke up.

Qin Chen asked, ”What exactly are these fruits?”

The Little Fairy replied, ”They are the Coexisting Spirit Essence of the Sky Hidden Beast, the Sky Hidden Fruit. These are rare strange fruits, equivalent to the offspring of the Sky Hidden Beast. Each Sky Hidden Fruit contains an unimaginable essence.”

”Oh?”

It was the first time Qin Chen had heard of such a term as ’Coexisting Spirit Essence,’ and he found it somewhat novel.

”Even if we can’t kill this Sky Hidden Beast, we can’t let these Sky Hidden Fruits go.”

If what the Little Fairy said was true, Qin Chen was thinking about using these Sky Hidden Fruits to break through to the Eighth Layer of the Primordial Flower Realm.

But, of course, before that.

Qin Chen needed to think about how to deal with this Sky Hidden Beast.

”Little Fairy, does the Sky Hidden Beast have any weaknesses?” Qin Chen asked.

The Little Fairy replied, ”It has almost no weaknesses. The only one that could be considered a weakness is probably its size. Sometimes, in certain terrains, being too large is a considerable disadvantage.”

”Its size?”

After hearing this, Qin Chen’s gaze moved to the vicinity of the Sky Hidden Beast, finally fixed on a cliff that was only about fifty meters wide, resembling a narrow sky.

”I’ll first take advantage of the terrain.”

Qin Chen had temporarily formed a plan.

Shadowless Traceless!

Qin Chen dashed out in an instant, moving like a lightning bolt, with the Firmament Battle Armor immediately attached to him. There was no hiding it because it couldn’t be hidden; he would be exposed no matter what.

The Sky Hidden Beast detected a massive disturbance from behind.

It immediately turned around.

Those eyes, as large as an adult human’s head, stared at Qin Chen, breathing heavily through its nostrils, sending waves of heat rolling off.

”Boom!”

The next moment, the Sky Hidden Beast charged at Qin Chen. The movement of its enormous body caused a storm to arise in the canyon, shaking the entire space violently.

”This creature really shakes the heavens when it moves.”

Qin Chen’s expression shifted slightly. The commotion was so terrifying it made him abandon the idea of directly confronting the Sky Hidden Beast to test its power.

Small Movement Technique!

He rapidly darted to the left.

But unexpectedly, the Sky Hidden Beast suddenly pounced from its original position. A pair of wings appeared on its back, diving toward Qin Chen like a bird.

Its speed suddenly increased.

”This creature can fly?”

Qin Chen was somewhat astounded. To be honest, this scene looked quite bizarre. Such a large mass, Qin Chen was genuinely worried it might fall.

But at this moment, Qin Chen couldn’t afford to slow down his reactions.

He targeted the wings of the Sky Hidden Beast.

”Thunder Comes.”

He raised both his hands, and immediately, two streaks of lightning appeared in the sky.

”Descend!”

As Qin Chen shouted the word, the two bolts of lightning struck the wings of the Sky Hidden Beast.

”Boom...” A large, visible chain of lightning surged and crackled across the Sky Hidden Beast’s body.

However, to Qin Chen’s astonishment,

the two bolts of lightning only caused the Sky Hidden Beast’s body to pause for a barely noticeable instant. In the next moment, it acted as if nothing had happened, continuing its assault toward Qin Chen.

”Its defensive power is this strong?”

Qin Chen was stunned.

Meanwhile, the Sky Hidden Beast’s mountain-like body collided with Qin Chen.

Compared to the Sky Hidden Beast’s mountainous form, Qin Chen’s body seemed as insignificant as an ant.

At the moment of impact, Qin Chen felt as if he was in a furnace. The temperature was incredibly high. If it weren’t for the Firmament Battle Armor draped over him, his skin might have been scorched black by now.

”Bang.”

The next moment, Qin Chen’s whole body was like a kite with a broken string, forcibly slammed into the mountain’s body, as if he was buried alive, making him entirely invisible.

”Qin Chen, are you alright?”

The Little Fairy asked worriedly.

”Bang!”

Qin Chen’s body burst out from countless clumps of dirt and rubble, sending innumerable pieces of gravel shooting in all directions, looking rather disheveled.

”I’m fine.”

”Is this creature that strong?”

Qin Chen’s eyes fixed on the Sky Hidden Beast. To be honest, he had thought the Sky Hidden Beast was powerful, given it was Half-step Tribulation Transformation.

But in truth, the Sky Hidden Beast’s formidable extent went beyond Qin Chen’s expectations.

When the Sky Hidden Beast crashed into him earlier, had it been any other Demon Beast, Qin Chen would have easily avoided it. However, when the Sky Hidden Beast charged in, Qin Chen couldn’t escape at all.

That creature had completely sealed off all his escape routes.

And it was only because it was Qin Chen. A normal person would likely have lost their life in that single hit.

”Little bug, you actually didn’t die?”

The Sky Hidden Beast was a bit surprised to see Qin Chen emerging intact from the rubble, apparently not seriously injured.

Qin Chen didn’t answer its question.

”I’m somewhat surprised. How about this? Stay here and be my playmate, and I’ll spare your life. I’ve been staying here for such a long time that I’m quite bored.”

The Sky Hidden Beast’s heart had surprisingly developed a ’fondness for talent.’

”Whoosh!”

But at that moment, Qin Chen’s voice transformed into a startling streak, like a meteor shooting across the sky, directly charging toward the previously spotted narrow sky cliff.

The Sky Hidden Beast sneered, ”Little bug, do you think you can escape my grasp?”

”Swoosh!”

It immediately spread its wings, gliding towards Qin Chen like a great roc spreading its wings.

Qin Chen’s speed was already very fast.

But the Sky Hidden Beast was even faster than Qin Chen.

Visibly, the distance between Qin Chen and the Sky Hidden Beast was shrinking.

While chasing, the Sky Hidden Beast remarked, ”Little bug, I don’t particularly like disobedient playmates, so I’ll give you one last chance. Stop and discard those impossibilities in your heart, and I will spare your life.”

”Otherwise, I imagine your death will be quite miserable.”

”Whoosh!”

At that moment, Qin Chen dashed into the narrow sky cliff, causing the Sky Hidden Beast to suddenly come to a halt.

”Why aren’t you pursuing?”

Qin Chen stood in the middle of the narrow sky cliff, watching the halted Sky Hidden Beast behind him.

The Sky Hidden Beast smiled suddenly, ”Little bug, I know what you’re thinking but do you believe that relying on this unique terrain can stop me?”

”You’ve oversimplified everything.”
