Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 753: Vivianʼs Request

”!!!” Nathan was taken aback. ”What? Youʼre going with my master?”

”Yes. Ah. You might not know about this, but I and your master are from the same generation. We both enrolled at the Frexia Academy. Although we were ene…rivals, we worked together from time to time.” Melissa shrugged.

”Oh!” Nathan looked unimpressed, since he was already aware of it.

”Heh? Looking at your expression, do you actually know that? But Vivian doesnʼt look like someone who will tell you about it. Who actually told you?” Melissa squinted her eyes.

”Ahahaha. I will let you guess.” Nathan shrugged. ”I will visit my master first. If you will excuse me.”

Melissa kept staring at Nathan, feeling something was wrong. The only ones she knew who could reveal their relationship were the principal and Vivian. But none of them was a person who would reveal that secret.

Fortunately, Nathan escaped to the workshop before Melissa could ask another question. Besides, it didnʼt seem Vivian had told her about Evelyn.

”Master!” Nathan entered with a smile, finding Vivian dressed so differently that Nathanʼs heart skipped a beat.

Instead of the usual formal shirt, Evelyn wore a short gown with a leather corset tightening around her waist. She even wore glasses, even though there was no problem with her eyes. More importantly, the wooden staff in her hand was exuding a powerful aura. The coat she was wearing looked similar to what Melissa had, but it gave a different feeling, which Nathan couldnʼt describe.

”Hmm? Youʼre back?” Vivian fixed her glasses.

”Yes. So, you wear glasses…” Nathan smiled wryly.

”Not really.” Vivian pointed at the glasses. ”This is battle equipment. Magic glasses, which allow me to see ena more sharply. Itʼs pretty useful to locate the enemy. Do you want one?”

”Not really. My beasts are better at picking up on their presence.” Nathan shook his head. ”Besides, I donʼt like my vision getting blocked when wearing glasses.”

”Fair point.” Vivian nodded. ”Anyway, I will be taking my leave. Once I return, I should have gathered all the materials. Weʼll be focusing on creating your element after that, alright?”

”Yes. Thank you very much.” Nathan nodded. ”By the way, Master. Thereʼs something Iʼd like to ask.”

”What is it? Are you planning to summon your fifth familiar soon? Do you need my help to get the material?”

”I have sorted it out. Iʼll be going to Floraʼs aunt to get the whale corpse.”

”That woman, huh? Bring a present or two. Donʼt be rude.” Vivian agreed with the arrangement.

”Yes.”

”Then what do you want to ask?”

Nathan raised one finger. ”Can you summon Alisha?”

”Hmm?” Vivian was confused for a moment before realizing what he wanted to do. ”Donʼt tell me. You…”

Nathan looked at her solemnly, confirming what he wanted. ”Yes. Iʼd like to evolve Alisha to a high elf if possible. Alisha has helped me a lot. And if Alisha can become a high elf, it will raise her battle prowess as well, which means Master will be much safer.

”Besides, after Charlotte has confirmed that I can use my blood, I have always wanted to do this.

”The experiment is a success, so if Alisha experiences the same thing, it means the experiment has been confirmed. If thatʼs the case, I might be able to help other familiars as well. Of course, I will keep an eye on my condition and not overdo it, but please allow me to do this.”

Vivian wanted to help him gain an element, so he felt he should also help her to get stronger.

Vivian had exhausted a lot of ena to summon Charlotte. Instead of replenishing that ena, he thought about letting Alisha become another familiar that could fight alongside other familiars.

With Charlotte and Alisha becoming her strength, Nathan had no doubt that Vivian would become a world class summoner. Of course, it would still take some time to get all that ena, but it still would make Vivian become closer to Evelynʼs strength.

Besides, after hearing how Vivianʼs previous high elf was gone, Nathan couldnʼt help but want to give her another high elf.

”You…” Vivian wanted to reject him, but no reason came to her mind. After all, Alisha was the weakest among her familiars, so the requirement to upgrade her was the lowest. If Alisha could become a high elf and master her power, she would definitely become her strength.

In addition, she felt bad for Alisha. She had been concerned about her talent but she still worked hard earnestly by taking up most of the administration work for her. This might be a good way to repay her.

Vivian fell into deep thought before walking to another room.

Nathan thought Vivian was going to reject him, but suddenly, she came out bringing two plants.

”In that case, use these two plants as well. Moonlight Flower and Lovely Flower. They are both flowers that grow not far from the world tree. Iʼve been wanting to use them to strengthen Alisha, but I know thereʼs at least one more plant I need to evolve her. Iʼm still searching for it, but if youʼre going to use the Soul Contract in exchange for the third flower, I think it might be enough to evolve her.

”In fact, you can use all the ena you need. I have about 100,000 ena worth of cores stored in my warehouse, so you donʼt need to provide anything else.”

”!!!” Nathan looked surprised. Just looking at her preparation, Nathan realized that Vivian had been wanting to ask him to evolve Alisha. However, as his master, who even advised him not to recklessly reveal this Soul Contract, she couldnʼt really ask her disciple. After all, it would just make her a hypocrite.

But with Nathan giving that chance to her directly, she spared no efforts. At the same time, this would also make her more relaxed if he decided to help other familiars.

Nathan smiled. ”In that case, letʼs do it. Letʼs head to the device and proceed with her evolution.”
