Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 733: Thanks

”Thatʼs a good suggestion. Do you have anything else?” The king asked. ”And I think I should clarify this. Would you like to put your name on that suggestion?”

Nathan shook his head. ”I donʼt plan to have my name there. Well… if you insist, you can put it in Her Highness Floraʼs name.”

”Whatʼs this? Youʼre still calling Flora ʼHer Highness?ʼ I thought your relationship was much better than that.” The king chuckled, teasing them.

”…” Nathan smiled wryly while Flora looked away, feeling embarrassed.

”I understand your way of thinking. Thatʼs why Iʼll be taking her right to the throne. If you wish to marry her, I will grant you my daughterʼs hand in marriage.

”I donʼt plan to interfere with your family. However, there are two things Iʼd like to request.” The king raised two fingers. ”If the Azilia Kingdom is facing its survival crisis, I hope you can help the kingdom.”

Nathan nodded his head. ”Itʼs not much. Besides, humans are social creatures. If there are no people or kingdoms, living will be quite boring.”

The king was satisfied with Nathanʼs answer. Instead of giving an assurance that felt like an empty promise, Nathan showed a much more casual interpretation that might look unreliable from an outsiderʼs perspective but was much more reassuring for those who knew him.

The king then turned to Flora. ”And this is the most important thing. I hope you are able to make my daughter happy.”

Nathanʼs expression turned solemn. ”I will.”

”All right. That is enough for me. Take some time to visit her family, including her mother.”

”Yes.”

The king nodded. ”You might worry about it, but I donʼt think Selena Ashton is a bad choice to be the first wife. Count Ashton is an exceptional individual, and itʼs said that Sage Leyfon is her master.

”That status is not something that can be looked down upon. Meanwhile, after taking Floraʼs right to the throne, there will be a lot of nobles leaving her side. Regarding other successors, you can leave them to me.”

”I understand. Thank you very much.”

”Do you have anything youʼd like to ask from me?”

”No, at the moment.”

The king then turned to Noelleʼs father. ”Zack. Bring that letter.”

Zack Flamante approached Nathan and took out a letter.

”This is…” Nathan examined the letter.

”Itʼs a letter bearing the seal of the royal family, with me being the sender. Even though itʼs not a royal decree, Sullivan has to meet you.

”The content is about me recalling Sullivan from Flora since she has lost her right from the throne. Itʼs important enough for him to be unable to blame you.

”And you may state your purpose to him after delivering the letter.

”Regarding his current location, he is in Base Denfort on the front line. You may use this map to find the location.”

Zack presented the map next. With this, they had gotten what they came for.

Julius continued, ”I hope youʼre able to save Count Ashton. Once he is rescued, I can finally return his position to its rightful owner.

”Also, you should finish your city and give it a name. Once it has been recorded, I can send people to build the teleportation circle in that city. This way, you donʼt have to rely on other peopleʼs teleportation circles.”

”Will that be all right?” Nathan raised his eyebrows.

”Ah. Donʼt feel burdened by it. Donʼt forget that you have saved the kingdoms. In fact, Iʼm already feeling bad for taking your cloud-repelling device for granted.

”And you have even contributed magic weapons. Iʼm not shameless enough to not repay your contribution.

”Although I want to give you a rank, I donʼt think youʼre the type of person who wants to enter politics.

”Hence, Iʼll be repaying you through another way, like the teleportation circle.

”If you have anything else in mind, please donʼt hesitate to say it. Flora can convey it to me and Iʼll see if I can fulfill it or not.”

Nathan politely nodded. ”I understand. Thank you very much, Your Majesty.”

Nathan thought meeting the king would be annoying, but this whole time, the king casually carried the entire conversation. In addition, he was generous and upright. He was wise enough to consider every single detail.

This man was supposed to be his father-in-law, and he thought his father-in-law would be angry and pick on him for taking his daughter from him. However, his father-in-law was much more rational.

Nathan paused for a moment before asking, ”I donʼt know if this is the time to ask, but… have you ever considered traveling across the sea?”

”!!!” The war minister and the prime minister exchanged looks while Julius turned solemn. ”Hoh? Sea travel? Tell me more about it.”

”From the fact that there is a volcano big enough to cause such devastation from far away, we should consider the possibility of another land like this across the sea.

”And it might not be just one. The reason Iʼm thinking about sea travel is related to aliens.

”If there are multiple lands across the sea, the aliens must have been splitting their force into multiple fronts.

”What if, because of the devastation, another land loses the fight? The remaining aliens might end up coming in our direction because of it. Hence, I suggest sea travel to check other lands and its possibility.

”Besides, we can learn about their culture and technology. There are simply a lot of benefits in finding the new land.

”If I have to ask, Iʼd like to request all records of sea travels.” Nathan explained.

Julius looked amused. ”I see. Sea travel, huh? The possibility of the aliens coming at a higher intensity… there is indeed a need to check them. Still, if you wish to learn about it, you should be asking Flora, since her aunt is the one holding that record.

”If she doesnʼt give it to you, you may use my name to convince her.”

”Thank you very much.” Nathan looked excited. Even though he could ask the familiar to travel across the sea, he didnʼt know where to go. If there was a clue, it would be better to pinpoint their target before leaving.

There was silence for two minutes, showing that none of them had anything left to say.

Hence, the king stood up. ”There are a lot of things I want to ask you, but I donʼt think this is an appropriate time for it. However, I have seen how clever you are, just like your achievement and rumor.”

Nathan and Flora stood up and politely nodded. ”Father. Weʼll be going.”

”Yes.” Julius gave a gentle nod. But before his father exited the room, Julius couldnʼt help but ask, ”Flora. How are you? Are you living well?”

Flora looked surprised at first but soon showed a big smile. ”Yes. Iʼm living my life to the fullest, Father.”

”Is that so? Iʼm glad.”
