Summoners: One Golden Term per Level

During Apollo’s two-day stay here, Shen Fei understood why Apollo was known as the God of Art.

Every moment of these two days was filled with music and theatre.

No wonder Apollo could so quickly become the Sun God; this was more direct than what he did in Ephesus.

Comparing oral singing and theatre to a storybook and movie, their speed and breadth of dissemination are entirely different leagues.

”Honored guest, our god summons you.”

Pithia spoke outside the room, and Shen Fei opened the door, leaving with the Moon God. Pithia had arranged only one room for the two.

Everyone knows that Artemis’s priests must be virgins, regardless of gender.

But in Greece, women symbolize a man’s status.

Thus, Artemis has fewer male priests.

So, arranging for a man and woman to share a room might be problematic for other divine spirits’ priests, but not for Artemis’s priests.

The two followed Pithia, arriving again at the place where the statue stood. Apollo had been waiting here.

Apollo’s gaze towards Shen Fei had changed slightly. After that day, he had sought out Artemis and learned from his sister’s words that Shen Fei was very likely a descendant of the Old Gods.

Letting him handle this matter could very likely reverse fate.

”I’ve learned you’re going to slay Ares’s War Bull. Under sunlight, it loses its invincible skin.”

”Under the influence of music, you will receive powerful strength.”

”The prophecy foretells you will become the warrior who slays the War Bull invading Plovdiv city!”

As Apollo spoke, rays of light shone upon Shen Fei. After speaking, Apollo tossed a weapon that looked like a knight’s lance to Shen Fei.

”This spear has my blessing and can pierce the War Bull’s skull.”

Shen Fei took the lance and examined it. It looked like a beautiful artwork, seemingly without any attack power, yet its tip gleamed with golden light.

[You have received the ’Sun Spear’]

”Go forth.”

Apollo smiled, ”I will send down a divine oracle for the scripture you write; the name of the Moon God Artemis will spread throughout Greece.”

...

Shen Fei and the Moon God left Delphi, the place under Apollo’s domain, thus he could not act under Artemis’s name.

Only upon reaching Thrace would he showcase his skills.

”It seems this is the real gameplay of the Ancient Secret Realm,” Shen Fei muttered. He had previously learned from Gao Ya about events in the Age of Gods.

Similar to his situation now, step by step completing tasks, increasing his strength, until the final mission.

As for during the Battle of Zhulu, he somewhat cheated.

”Sunlight, music, and it must be when the War Bull invades Plovdiv,” Shen Fei pondered Apollo’s blessing.

It seems the Greek gods indeed cannot directly grant significant power; unknown whether it’s their own limitation or Zeus’s constraint.

”Using Apollo’s prophecy as a reason can also enlist Plovdiv’s city’s guards’ help without letting them become aids to the War Bull.”

Shen Fei nodded slightly.

...

Days later.

Plovdiv.

King of Plovdiv listened to Shen Fei, who came in the Moon God’s name, holding Apollo’s prophecy.

Ares’s steed, the War Bull, will invade Plovdiv.

And Shen Fei, according to Artemis and Apollo’s prophecy, is destined to be the warrior who will kill the War Bull.

If it were other divine spirits’ prophecy, King of Plovdiv might not take it seriously, but this is Apollo’s prophecy.

Moreover, two deities say this simultaneously.

This almost ensures it will happen; even if Ares is the main faith in Thrace, it doesn’t mean they must believe in his steed.

Allowing it to destroy their country.

Upon hearing Shen Fei’s words, the King of Plovdiv was astonished, ”What help does the warrior require?”

”I need to wait until the War Bull attacks at daylight, and I need a band to play during the fierce fight with the War Bull.”

”Okay.”

The King of Plovdiv nodded and hurriedly ordered to find Plovdiv’s most famous band.

...

In the rest room arranged by the King of Plovdiv.

Shen Fei and the Moon God sat opposite each other.

Shen Fei played with the Sun Spear, raising an eyebrow slightly, ”Artemis and Apollo intend to target Ares’s steed; Ares may have defensive measures.”

”Perhaps he’s already anticipated our actions. It looks like I’ll have to play a little outside the rules!”

Shen Fei looked at the Moon God. He could still use his ’Infinite Term,’ and the War Bull had a maximum strength of Tier Three Eight; one Legendary Term was enough to change twice.

[Activate Talent]

’Archer.’

Shen Fei thought it through and acted. The next moment, the golden term sea appeared again in Shen Fei’s vision, ultimately leaving only three terms.

[Soul-Breaking Arrow (Tier One of Legend): The arrows shot will possess the power to destroy souls; unsuitable for [Myth] level, targets tier will be subjected to a certain reduction]

[Elf Dance (Tier One of Legend): Basic attacks on hitting the enemy will cause magic damage; and each basic attack will accumulate energy. When the energy bar accumulates to three layers full, a short displacement occurs.]

[Pregnancy Arrow (Tier One of Legend): Possesses Artemis’s power of ’Fertility’; upon activation, non-[Myth] targets hit will instantly become pregnant]

Shen Fei saw the appearance of two terms with a slight raise of an eyebrow.

This Infinite Term is somewhat interesting.

The first two terms are fine, but the third term, the effect of this [Pregnancy Arrow], is a bit abstract, but it seems to fit well in the current world.

It’s rightfully Artemis’s power.

The Moon God is now Artemis’s emissary; mastering such power is normal.

Shen Fei did not hesitate and chose the first and third terms, as currently, their effects would be the most significant.

[Legendary Term Soul-Breaking Arrow successfully bestowed!]

[Legendary Term Pregnancy Arrow successfully bestowed!]

In the next moment.

[Elf Dance] term instantly dissolved, and two terms turned into golden light, falling into the Moon God’s body.

After receiving some information, the Moon God spoke, ”Master, the Pregnancy Arrow is actually a weakening skill; when hit, the resulting fetus will instantly absorb a large amount of strength from the host, putting the host into a weakened state.”

”That should work greatly against the War Bull.”

Shen Fei nodded slightly, and if pregnancy happens, movement would be extremely inconvenient, even for Tier Eight.

”Now we wait for Apollo’s prophecy to come true.”
