Chapter 11 Rorschach's ConcernsChapter 11 Rorschach’s Concerns

Interestingly, due to his image as a young and inexperienced person, Rorschach didn’t need too many excuses and easily learned a lot of information from Su Xueqi.

Most of them were about Rock City, and there were a few that involved the ’Mountain Capital’, but not many, because Su Xueqi had only been there once or twice before.

The destination of their caravan this time is the Mountain Capital, one of the four capitals of the Storm Empire!
The three major empires in the Gray Domain each have their own characteristics in political structure, and the characteristic of the Storm Empire is that the Dragon clan, as the royal family, cannot make the final decision most of the time.

Because the establishment of the Storm Empire is inseparable from the strong support of the four original bloodline families, and now the four capitals that guard the Storm Empire are controlled by the four original bloodline families respectively, and a certain degree of balance has been achieved with the Storm Royal Family.

This is a situation that the Red Flame Empire and the Titan Empire do not have, so even if the Storm Empire has the strongest overall strength, it will be difficult to continue expanding outward.

The Stone City where the Burton family is located is within the sphere of influence of the Mountain Capital. As it is the closest city, trade exchanges are inevitable.

Rex had previously explained the history of the Storm Empire to Rorschach, so Rorschach was familiar with the origins of these four capitals.

In fact, he suspected that Su Xueqi didn’t know as much as he did in this regard.

Rex was once a member of the Storm Royal Family and a real big shot in the Storm Empire. How could a small family like the Burton family, which was entrenched in a small town on the border, know what he knew?
However, when it comes to intelligence, Rorschach naturally accepts all offers, regardless of whether it is valuable or not. Having an extra perspective always brings more benefits than disadvantages.

”So, Luo Xia, you and Senior Arthur are also planning to go to the Mountain Capital?” Su Xueqi saw that Luo Xia was obviously more curious about the Mountain Capital, and asked immediately.

”Yes, teacher, he has found his own path. He doesn’t need to practice hard anymore. This time he plans to take me to the mountain capital to live for a while.” Rorschach replied half-truthfully.

”I heard that the strength of ascetic knights is generally far superior to that of their peers. I didn’t expect that Senior Arthur has already found his own path... I really envy you.” Su Xueqi showed a look of yearning.

Luo Xia could see that this time Su Xueqi might not be acting, but was really a little envious of him.

In fact, this is normal.

If the situation is really as Rorschach said, then he will most likely transform himself into a disciple of the Silver Knight in the near future!

If the Bronze Knight can only act arrogantly in a small place like Rock City, then the Silver Knight can be regarded as a top figure even in the Mountain Capital.

Not to mention being arrogant, but no matter which force you join, you will be treated as a guest of honor and treated with courtesy.

Looking at the Gray Region, the Silver Knight can definitely be considered a strong man.

Although Su Xueqi has a prominent background, her real background is far beyond that of the Burton family in this world where she was born. However, even with her background on the Blue Water Star, she will never look down on a Silver Knight!
Therefore, she was really somewhat envious of the fate of this ”young and foolish” Rorschach, which was why she said those words earlier.

”This Su Xueqi is obviously a newcomer as well. She should have been replaced one or two more times than me at most. But she unconsciously exudes a sense of confidence in her words. It seems that she has an extraordinary background...” Luo Xia analyzed secretly.

When observing Su Xueqi, the Eye of Trash Talk hinted that she had a background. Rorschach originally thought that this background referred to her origin in the Gray Domain.

But after learning about the Burton family’s situation, he gradually realized that this was not the case.

In particular, the confidence that Su Xueqi inadvertently showed made Luo Xia further certain that her identity on the Blue Water Planet was probably not simple.

Only in this way can we explain why she exudes a sense of confidence.

Otherwise, even if an ordinary newcomer managed to survive the first replacement with the highest mortality rate, he or she would inevitably feel confused about the future. This is how most people should react to unknown situations, not like her.

”She must know more about the Displacer than I do, but it’s a pity that I can’t ask her directly.” Rorschach thought with a headache. After leaving Twilight Village, his biggest concern was no longer the exposure of his identity, but the man in the top hat who accidentally awakened his spirit.

Judging from the murderous reaction of the man in the top hat towards a passerby like him, this guy is definitely not a good man. He might even be a hard-core murderer.

Would a ruthless character like this suddenly have a change of heart just because he has become a Displacer and serve as his guide out of selfless kindness?
Thinking about it, I know it’s impossible.

The existence of the man in the top hat is like an unavoidable landmine to Rorschach. He doesn’t know when it will explode and how it will explode.

He has been thinking about this matter since he left the village.

But I really couldn’t think of any good way to break the deadlock.

Unexpectedly, at this critical juncture, he met Su Xueqi, a rookie colleague who obviously had a complicated background. This gave him some general ideas in his mind.

Of course, he couldn’t reveal his identity directly to Su Xueqi, because he didn’t know whether Su Xueqi was trustworthy or not.

Although knowing each other’s identity as a replacement is also a terrifying balance, because each party can ”report” this identity to the people around the other party, thus achieving the consequence of mutual destruction.

But what if Su Xueqi is the kind of lunatic who is not afraid of death?

Although the probability is not high, Luo Xia does not want to make a bet so easily before finding out Su Xueqi’s situation.

Moreover, he couldn’t explain how he knew that Su Xueqi was a substitute, because so far Su Xueqi actually had no flaws.

If Rorschach was really just an ordinary replacer, he asked himself if he could see anything wrong with Su Xueqi.

Even if he really wanted to find a way out from Su Xueqi, he had to wait for a convincing reason.

Thinking of this, he changed his mind and said to Su Xueqi with a smile: ”My teacher and I will settle in the Mountain Capital for a while. Stephanie, if you have time, you might as well come visit occasionally. Didn’t Brother Claus say that you are also very talented? Maybe the teacher will accept you as an apprentice?”

”This...isn’t this a bit inappropriate?” Su Xueqi looked embarrassed.

But she was actually somewhat moved by what Rorschach said!

If she could become a disciple of a Silver Knight, it would undoubtedly be a great opportunity for her!

Not only will the Burton family fully support her and even allocate more resources to her, the real power behind her will not remain indifferent!

Although she had an extraordinary background, she was not considered a core member of the forces behind her. If she had not finally succeeded in awakening her spirit, she would have been out of the core circle of the forces behind her and sent to a peripheral force in a short time.

Even though she has successfully awakened her spirit now, she started much late, so it will not be easy for her to catch up with the real core members.

But if she could become a disciple of a Silver Knight, the situation would be completely different!

She will surely rise rapidly in the internal sequence of the forces behind her and gain more authority and support!

How could she not be moved by this!
