Starting from the Wizarding World

Chapter 7 Hahahahahahahaha!Chapter 7 Hahahahahahahaha!
After Susan’s tossing and turning, the previous tense atmosphere was finally swept away, and Rorschach’s tense nerves finally relaxed a little.

These few things also made Rorschach see how Susan and old Meng’en got along with each other. When encountering important matters, Susan would give old Meng’en enough face, but most of the time, old Meng’en was dominated by his wife.

As for Susan’s final outburst, it was obviously because old Monn had already dealt with Rex’s matter and there was no need to save face for him anymore.

With such a clear mind, it’s no wonder that Mr. Meng’en is dominated by his wife.

But Susan was not acting when she got angry. She was really against letting Rorschach and Rex go out.

Although Hughes’s reasons had convinced old Monn, they were not enough to convince her.

”There are many ways to train little Rorschach. Why do you have to let him go out and take risks?” Susan still held old Mon’en’s ears, like a tigress protecting her cubs. ”Is there any father like you, Hughes?”

”A young eagle must eventually spread its wings, and flowers in a greenhouse will never grow into towering trees. This incident is a lesson as well as an opportunity.” A rare look of solemnity appeared on Zeus’s unshaven face.

You know, in the past he was either drunk or on his way to being drunk, and he was rarely so serious.

”Stop preaching to me. I don’t agree!” Susan glared at Hughes.

Seeing the atmosphere getting cold again, the old Meng En, who was no longer domineering, once again tried to act as a peacemaker and whispered:
”If you ask me, why not ask him what he means?”

Susan didn’t object this time.

Because she also understood that, after all, Zeus was Rorschach’s father, and as an outsider, she could not make the final decision.

The reason for his opposition was also out of love for Rorschach.

After being reminded by her husband, she also realized that perhaps the most important thing was Rorschach’s own wishes.

If Rorschach doesn’t want to, even his father, Zeus, might not be able to force him.

However, she had no idea how delighted Rorschach was right now. If she had to describe it in one sentence, it would probably be -

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!
”There is such a good thing?” Rorschach laughed wildly in his heart.

Of course, he understood that Aunt Susan was thinking about him, and he also understood that going out to gain experience would definitely be risky and full of unknown situations.

But he knew better that if he stayed in the village, especially with his alcoholic father who might have already stopped being a human being, the danger would be a thousand times higher than the danger he might encounter during his training!
Leaving with Rex might just be risky, but staying in the village means you’re destined to dance with Godzilla every day. Is there any need to choose?

”I’m willing to go!” Rorschach said firmly.

”Look, he himself doesn’t want to... huh?” Susan had already prepared how to scold Rorschach, but halfway through her words she realized something seemed to be wrong and looked at Rorschach in surprise.

”I don’t want to be a burden anymore, Aunt Susan. This is my own decision.” Rorschach expressed his attitude again.

Susan was stunned for a moment, but soon shook her head and smiled, ”Okay, I forgot your age. How can a young person not be sharp?”

”Feel sorry.”

”Don’t apologize. There’s nothing wrong with wanting to try your luck. I did the same when I was young.” Susan’s attitude finally softened.

But then she looked at Rex and said coldly: ”Little Rorschach has been implicated once because of you. If something happens again this time... you’d better not come back. Otherwise, even if this old bastard of mine plays a trick on you again, I will find it difficult to resist the urge to crush you to death!”

”What a self-torture drama! Who do you think I am, my dear?” Old Meng’en cried out in grievance when he heard this.

”Humph, you know it yourself!” Susan shook off the pinched ear and walked towards the door without looking back. Her voice echoed in the room, ”I don’t want to hear the specific arrangements. Just go and do it yourself.”

Looking at his wife’s back, old Meng’en rubbed his ears and showed a helpless smile.

It was finally discovered, alas...

Although his previous attitude did contain some real anger, it was indeed to help Rex eliminate the anger of Hughes and Susan.

They have been friends for so many years, and he didn’t want to make things too awkward. Of course, if Rorschach really wanted to make Rex pay the price, he, as the village chief, would definitely not be partial.

But he could guess that Rorschach would not be able to bear this, so he played a little trick.

I’m afraid even Rex himself didn’t know his intentions, but how could he hide it from Susan who slept in the same bed with him every day?
To express her dissatisfaction, Susan directly revealed his thoughts.

He was suddenly embarrassed.

”Village chief, you...” Rex looked at old Meng’en in some surprise.

”Stop talking nonsense.” Old Meng’en interrupted him directly, ”I’m warning you, Rex, no matter how reluctant I am, but this time Susan said what I want to say. If something goes wrong again, just wait for me!”

”I understand.” Rex took a deep breath.

It was only now that he came to realize that Lao Meng’en’s previous attitude was to help him, but this also made him feel even more guilty.

If something really happens to Rorschach again this time, the old Monns won’t have to do anything, he will kill himself first.

”Then it’s decided. I’ll leave him to you.” As a father, Zeus didn’t seem to have much emotion. He just patted Rex on the shoulder, entrusting Rorschach to him.

”Don’t worry, Brother Zeus, I will take good care of him.” Rex assured Zeus.

”Then I’ll be leaving first. I’ve made an appointment with Gul’dan to have a drink... Well, don’t embarrass me, kid.” Zeus waved his hand and prepared to leave, but before leaving, he seemed to remember something and said one last thing to Rorschach.

After finishing his instructions, he left leisurely.

”This guy is pretending again.” Old Meng’en couldn’t help but mutter as he watched Xius leave. Then he said to Rorschach, ”Your father just likes to act cool. Don’t think he really doesn’t care about you.”

”Yeah, I know.” Rorschach said casually.

He was now so excited about being able to leave that he had no time to care whether his cheap father, Hughes, was pretending to be cool or not.

But Old Meng’en misunderstood. Seeing Rorschach’s reaction, he thought that he didn’t believe it, and immediately continued, ”Don’t believe it? I shouldn’t have said that, but now that we are alone, it doesn’t hurt to talk about it... Rex, do you know why I made an exception this time and let you go back?”

”Ok?”

Old Meng’s problem was actually what Rex had been confused about before.

Even Rorschach could hear something else behind old Meng’en’s words.

”Because, if you can’t give an explanation, then Zeus will give you an explanation... Believe me, your Storm Royal Family can’t bear the wrath of that guy.” Old Monn looked at Rex deeply.

Rex suddenly felt a chill in his heart!
He was indeed disheartened because of some past events and didn’t want to care about the past right and wrong anymore, but that didn’t mean there was no one in the Storm Empire that he cared about.

He actually didn’t know much about Hughes, because Hughes was already in this drunken and dreamy state when he entered the village.

Of course he knew that Xius couldn’t be a simple person, because there were few simple people in this village, including himself.

But he really wasn’t sure how complicated it was.

But he knew how terrible the village chief, Old Monen, was. Even Old Monen made such a judgment, so there must be a reason why Xiusi could not afford to offend the Storm Royal Family, and Old Monen was just trying to avoid an irreversible situation.

”Susan could see what I was doing, and so could Hughes, but he said nothing.” Old Meng’en looked deep, ”Hughes is a man who cherishes the past, so he gave you a chance, you must seize it.”

Rex said nothing this time in response to old Meng’en’s reminder, but it reaffirmed some of his ideas.

”Remember, if there is any situation that you can’t handle, come back first, and don’t be ashamed. We old guys are your backers.” Old Meng’en thought about it and finally said another sentence.

”I will.”
