Chapter 6 Emperor...Emperor Engine?!Chapter 6 Emperor...Emperor Engine?!

”Rex, what are the rules for entering Dusk Village?” Old Mon’en looked at Rex expressionlessly, his tone neither sad nor happy.

However, people who are familiar with this old village chief know that when he looks angry, he may not be that angry, but when he has a blank expression, it means that his inner anger is almost unbearable!

As we all know, becoming a blood knight always comes at a price.

The biggest price to pay is that one’s mind is easily affected by the fused bloodline, and in serious cases one may even directly degenerate into an ’alien species’!
The bloodline of the Behemoth beast that Old Meng’en fused with was one of the most violent bloodlines even in the ’Gray Region’!

According to legend, even the ancient dragons that terrified all beasts were on the Behemoth’s menu. You can imagine how ferocious the Behemoth was!

How could old Meng’en, who has the blood of Behemoth, be as kind and amiable as usual?
The fact that he could restrain his instinctive violence only proved that his will was strong enough to perfectly suppress the influence of the Behemoth bloodline.

But this does not mean that this violent instinct does not exist, especially when he is stimulated and his emotions fluctuate greatly!
Boom!Boom!Boom! ...

A rumbling sound like a war drum sounded, inaudible at first, and gradually became loud enough that even Rorschach, who was sitting beside the bed, could hear it.

Rorschach was also soon shocked to realize that the sound actually came from the old village chief himself, and it was most likely the heartbeat of the old village chief!
”Hey, is this true? What is this? Is the Emperor Engine shining into reality?” Rorschach was deeply shocked by this scene.

He never thought that this bizarre setting that had amused him in his previous life would actually appear in front of him one day!
Just as a bystander, he felt the indescribable sense of oppression. It was hard to imagine how much pressure Rex was under!
In fact, the situation was just as Rorschach had imagined. At this moment, Rex was like a mouse being stared at by a cat. He was frightened from the inside out and could not move!

This is not only because of the brutal oppression of Old Meng’en, but also a kind of oppressive force that comes from blood!
As a member of the Storm Royal Family, the blood he merged with was naturally the blood of the Storm Dragon, but the Behemoth clan was one of the natural enemies of all ancient dragons!

If the strength of both sides is equal, the suppression may not be very obvious, but Lao Meng’en’s strength is above his.

In this situation, isn’t he just like a mouse meeting an old cat?
”The rules for entering the village... are the past... and they are over.” Rex used all his strength to squeeze out these words from between his teeth.

Just one short sentence was enough to drain all his energy.

”Dusk Village is not afraid of trouble. If you had said so beforehand, even if there was any trouble, as long as you entered the village, someone would have helped you to clear it up.” Old Meng’en’s eyes were sharp. ”But you never mentioned it, and you even brought trouble here, causing trouble for little Rorschach and putting him in danger.”

”This matter...is my fault.” Rex looked guilty.

”As long as you know.”

Old Meng’en said this indifferently, and then suddenly looked at Rorschach and said, ”Little Rorschach, you are also a member of our Dusk Village. You are the biggest victim in this matter. You have the right to decide how to deal with him.”

”Me?” Rorschach didn’t expect that he would be pushed into the field when he was enjoying his melon.

”Yes, with just one word from you, I can expel him from the village or abolish him.” Old Meng’en said calmly, ”There is always a price to pay for doing something wrong, don’t you think so, Rex?”

”That’s right. I accept all the consequences.” Rex didn’t show any resistance.

Even though Old Meng’en had just mentioned getting rid of him, he didn’t show any dissatisfaction. It was obvious that he was mentally prepared for this.

You know, to destroy a Blood Knight means to uproot all of his blood!
The process is extremely painful, and afterward, even if one survives, life is often worse than death, because one is destined to suffer from a whole body of pain.

This punishment may be more difficult for many people to accept than death.

Rorschach naturally didn’t know this, but he noticed that when old Meng’en said this, Susan beside him showed a look of reluctance.

When he first arrived, Rorschach had no intention of being the villain.

Besides, he was not the one implicated, so why should he care about it?

Furthermore, Trash Talk Eyes almost put the words ”Rex is a big fat sheep” in the hint. He would only torture someone to death if he had a mental problem.

Wouldn’t it be nice to keep him and make money from him later? Thinking of this, Rorschach shook his head and said, ”I didn’t really do anything to him, so let’s not punish Uncle Rex. He didn’t do it on purpose.”

Old Monn nodded and looked at Rex again: ”Did you hear that?”

”Yeah.” Rex lowered his head slightly.

”We watched this kid grow up. You know he has a soft temper. Just because he doesn’t pursue the matter doesn’t mean it never happened, do you understand?” Old Meng’en continued.

”I understand, I owe him this.” Rex whispered.

Old Meng’en nodded slightly and said, ”Go and settle this matter. It will be an explanation to little Rorschach and to yourself.”

”Huh?” Rex raised his head in surprise.

”You don’t think this is the end of it, do you?”

Old Meng En sneered, ”Most of these old guys in the village chose to stay here because they were tired of fighting, but that doesn’t mean any scum can ride on our heads and shit on us. If we don’t say anything when being provoked at our doorstep, how will others view us in the future, huh?!”

When Rex heard this, he understood what old Meng’en meant.

Not to mention him, even Rorschach understood it. To quote the famous saying from his previous life - Whoever offends our Dusk Village will be punished, no matter how far away they are!

”I understand.” Rex said word by word.

Isn’t it what Lao Meng’en wanted?

”Take Rorschach with you.” Xiusi, who had not said a word since Rex appeared, suddenly said this.

”Huh?” Rex was surprised again.

But this time he was not the only one who was surprised. Even Susan and old Meng’en, who was so domineering just a moment ago, were caught off guard by Hughes.

Susan couldn’t help but ask, ”Why did Rex bring little Rorschach with him when he went to look for trouble? Did you, Hughes, drink too much again?”

Xius shook his head and said, ”No, this is a decision I made after careful consideration. And to be honest, it was also influenced by you, Sister Susan.”

Susan pointed to herself: ”My influence?”

”Yeah.” Xius confirmed again, ”What you said is actually correct. I was too self-righteous. I always thought that I could protect him by keeping him by my side. But there are always too many accidents in this world. This incident is an example.”

”You mean, you want him to follow Rex to gain some experience?” Old Monk understood somewhat what Xius was planning.

”It’s a good opportunity, isn’t it?” Hughes shrugged.

”Indeed.” Old Meng’en thought thoughtfully.

”Indeed, you are such a jerk. You just follow his lead when he makes trouble, right? You old bastard, do you think I can’t handle you anymore, huh?!”

Susan grabbed old Meng’en’s ear.

“Hiss… it hurts, it hurts, it hurts!”

Old Meng’en’s domineering attitude was instantly broken, and he once again turned into the old man who was dominated by his wife, and was jumped up and down by Susan’s ears.
