Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1537: The Home and the Passion ( 1537 )

Liana glanced at Gloria, who was now fidgeting in place, her lips pursed into a small pout. She let out a soft exhale before pointing toward the row of Javier clones.

”That one in the middle, the one wearing glasses and holding a book. Young Master often summons that one to try to trick me when I force him to study. He’d send the clone to sit at his desk while the real him slipped away to do something else.”

She shifted her finger toward the fourth clone, the one mid-hair-swipe with a smooth, charming grin.

”And that one, he uses to try to charm his way out of trouble. Whenever he caused mischief, he’d send that clone to sweet-talk me or distract the maids while the real him hid nearby using his invisibility skill, slipping away before anyone could catch him.”

Gloria tilted her head, pointing toward the fifth clone, the one with both hands in his pockets, staring off into the distance with a brooding expression.

”What about that one?”

Liana’s gaze landed on the fifth clone, her eyes narrowing slightly.

”That one? He used it when he tried to sneak out of the estate. He’d leave the clone standing in his room, looking all serious and thoughtful, while the real him climbed out the window and disappeared.”

The moment she said this, the fifth clone averted his eyes, glancing away as if caught in a lie. Liana smirked, her expression softening with fondness.

”But it never worked. I can feel Young Master’s presence and track his whereabouts with my skill. Every time he tried, I’d find him before he could even reach the estate wall.”

She sighed softly, a nostalgic smile tugging at her lips.

”After every failed attempt, he’d stop using that particular trick and try something else to get his way.”

Gloria nudged her glasses, her curiosity piqued.

”How?”

Liana’s smile widened, her eyes growing warm.

”He just started being himself. He’d pester me, asking directly. He’d plead, use those puppy eyes, charm me with that smooth smile of his, and cause chaos and trouble every single day until I gave in.”

She let out a soft, fond laugh, her voice dropping to a gentle mumble.

”But after Father-in-law gave him his freedom, especially after he got Buddy, he no longer needed to slip out secretly. He could simply walk out the front door. And I would always be right there beside him, every single day.”

Gloria mumbled softly under her breath, her voice carrying a hint of wistfulness.

”Must be nice... being able to accompany him every single day, together like that...”

Liana narrowed her eyes and delivered a swift slap to Gloria’s forehead. Gloria yelped, squatting down and rubbing the sore spot before hissing up at her.

”What was that for!?”

Liana gave her a pointed look, crossing her arms under her breasts.

”You were also his personal maid. You were with him every single day after he started attending the noble school when he was eleven. Don’t pretend like you weren’t.”

Gloria pursed her lips, still squatting, one palm pressed to her forehead. She reached into her cleavage and pulled out another pair of glasses, the motion making her huge breasts jiggle before she slipped them on. Her voice carried a defensive edge.

”Still... you’ve been with him longer than I have. You knew him since he was just a baby. You’ve been there for every single moment, every milestone, every memory.”

Liana raised her palm again, ready to slap Gloria’s forehead once more. Gloria immediately took a step back, raising both hands to defend her forehead.

”Wait! Wait!”

Liana lowered her hand slowly, her voice calm but firm. ”You’re also the reason why Young Master became more cheeky and mischievous. You let him slip away all the time. When he flipped the maids’ skirts, peeked at their panties, and caused all kinds of trouble, you always covered for him. He’d hide behind you, and you’d protect him. And you always let him kiss you on the lips.”

Gloria nudged her glasses up, crossing her arms under her breasts, her smirk returning as she regained her composure.

”Ara~ I don’t know what you’re talking about~”

She tilted her head, her voice turning teasing.

”You’re the one who spoiled him too much, Liana. You kept punishing him but always gave him rewards, kisses and such. You even slept together back then, every single night. And not to mention, you gave him your breast.”

She pointed a finger at Liana, her smirk widening.

”You’ve been letting him suck on your breasts since he was a baby. And you still do it now. Don’t think I haven’t noticed.”

Liana smirked, crossing her arms under her breasts and deliberately making them bounce in front of Gloria.

”Yes, I still do it. And I will continue to do so. After all, a blossoming flower offers its sweetest nectar only to the one it deems worthy. Every drop carries the warmth of life, the essence of love, and the quiet promise of endless devotion. What my Young Master has received from me is far more than mere nourishment. It is a connection that words in any language could never truly capture.”

She paused, her smile turning sly.

”And that connection has given him strength that others simply cannot provide.”

Gloria went silent for a moment. Her eyes narrowed, and when she finally spoke, her voice was calm but pointed. She responded not in the common tongue, but in the flowing, graceful cadence of Elvish.

”Istara vael’thir en, Liana. (I see what you are doing, Liana.)”

Her lips curled into a small, knowing smirk.

”Thou dost weave thy words like threads of silk, binding him with a bond thou alone can claim. Thou wouldst have him look only to thee, his first love, his first girl, his first wife.”

She let her silver hair cascade over one shoulder, her own words turning equally elegant.

”Yet do not forget, sister of my blood, that while thou dost hold the first claim, I hold the second. And a second wife sees what the first wife does not.”

Liana’s smirk widened. She replied smoothly in Elvish, her voice carrying a teasing lilt.

”Mos en’vasha, shal valinor. (Of course, dear cousin.)”

She tilted her head slightly, letting her hair sway with the motion.

”I am his first love, his first girl, his first wife. Surely as the second wife, thou canst understand thy place. Thou art dear to him, yes, but thou wilt never hold the title I hold.”

She leaned forward slightly, her eyes glinting with playful mockery.

”And yet, I must praise thee, dear cousin. Thy breasts are truly magnificent. I have seen how his eyes follow them every day, how he cannot help but stare when thou walkest past. Thou art blessed with a gift that draws his gaze, even if it cannot claim his heart.”

Gloria’s eye twitched. She nudged her glasses up, her smirk turning sharp.

”Thou speakest boldly for one who shares her bed with him every night. But dost thou forget? I too have shared his bed. I too have felt his lips upon mine, his hands upon my body. Thou art not the only one he desires.”

Liana chuckled softly, her voice calm and sweet.

”Nay, but I am the one he returns to. I am the one he seeks when he needs comfort, when he needs guidance, when he needs love. Thou art his passion, dear cousin. I am his home.”
