Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1530: A Box of Drinks and a Bowl of Meat ( 1530 )

A few moments later.

The dome of earth vanished, dissolving into a shower of fine sand that scattered across the beach. Liana stood in the center, adjusting her maid apron with a graceful, serene smile. Her expression was calm, her posture elegant, as if nothing out of the ordinary had just happened.

Celine was on all fours in the sand, her body trembling slightly, her eyes wide with disbelief. She mumbled in a low, dazed voice, repeating the same phrase over and over.

”I saw the same face... the scary face... like at the training hall...”

Her voice trailed off into a shaky whisper as she stared blankly at the sand beneath her.

Liana smiled sweetly and squatted down gracefully in front of her. She gently placed a finger under Celine’s chin and lifted her head up, bringing their faces close. Liana’s expression was warm and gentle, her beautiful features glowing softly in the sunlight, her full, natural pink lips curling into a tender smile.

”Welcome to Young Master’s harem group~”

Liana leaned closer, her voice dropping into a low, intimate whisper.

”It’s good that you’ve been confirmed as a virgin. Now, make sure you stay that way until Young Master claims you for himself. Understood~?”

Celine’s cheeks burned crimson, her eyes still wide as she nodded slowly, her voice coming out in a shaky whisper.

”Y... yes... Big Sister...”

Liana gently rubbed Celine’s chin with her finger, her smile sweet and warm.

”Good girl~”

She straightened up, clasping both hands in front of her maid apron as she smiled sweetly, her expression serene and motherly.

”Now, Celine~ Stand up and enjoy the vacation. And don’t be shy around Young Master. He doesn’t bite~”

Her eyes turned serious, her voice dropping into a low, dangerous tone.

”Just make sure he doesn’t claim you before you’re ready. I don’t want any of my co-wives to face unnecessary pain or complications because their body and strength aren’t prepared for him yet. When the time comes, it should be a moment of joy, not suffering. So until your body and mind are ready, you keep your legs closed. Understood~?”

Celine nodded quickly, her cheeks still flushed as she pushed herself to her feet and brushed the sand from her knees.

”Y... yes, Big Sister.”

The sound of quick footsteps approached from the distant path. Gracelle came running into view, her body clad in her pastel pink bikini, her cheeks flushed from exertion as she panted heavily. She stopped just at the edge of the beach area, resting her hands on her knees and catching her breath.

”Sorry! I’m...” She paused, her breath coming in ragged gasps. ”...late?”

She lifted her head and blinked, taking in the chaotic scene before her. Javier was completely surrounded by Gloria, Felicia, and Mimi, with Delya tugging at his arm. Lyzia stood near Buddy, watching the scene with curiosity, while Celine was standing near Liana, brushing sand off her knees.

Gracelle tilted her head in confusion, her brow furrowing slightly.

”Did I... miss something?”

Gracelle glanced at Liana, who was smiling at her with a knowing, teasing look. Before she could even open her mouth, Liana’s voice came out in a soft, playful lilt.

”Ara~ Look who finally decided to join us~ Did someone have a nice little dream while the rest of us were already enjoying the beach~?”

Gracelle pursed her lips, her cheeks flushing slightly as she averted her eyes and mumbled softly. ”I’m sorry... I overslept...”

Liana let out a soft laugh, shaking her head before turning back toward the grill. She walked gracefully to the table and glanced up at Buddy.

”Buddy~ Help me put more meat on the grill while I prepare the other dishes~”

Buddy glanced down at her in disbelief, his beak dropping open.

”Cuquawked!” (Oi! I’m not your slave!)

Liana shrugged and smiled, her voice dropping into a low, teasing tone.

”Ara~? Is that so? And here I was, about to prepare the perfect dish to go with the roast meat. A special recipe I’ve been saving for a very special occasion. But since someone doesn’t want to help~ I suppose there won’t be any portion for ’him’~”

Buddy pulled his head up, staring down at her with wide eyes. He quickly moved closer, nudging her with his wing in a kiss-up, pleading gesture. His eyebrows wiggled as he let out a smooth, cooperative squawk.

”Cuquawked~” (I’ll help you if you let me taste that special dish you mentioned~)

Liana let out a light laugh, nodding toward the grill. ”I’m preparing this dish for your master. But if you help me without complaining, I’ll let you have a taste after Young Master has his fill.”

Buddy puffed his chest out instantly, his beak curling into a proud, satisfied smirk.

”Cuquawked~” (Deal~)

Buddy’s body glowed with a soft aura, and the marinated slabs of meat lifted from the table, floating gently toward the grill. They settled onto the grate one by one, sizzling as they touched the heat.

Liana turned toward a nearby table and began setting up her cooking utensils. She pulled out a portable stove, a set of gleaming knives, a cutting board, and several small containers of spices, arranging them with ease.

Gracelle walked toward Liana and stood beside her, her hands clasped nervously in front of her as she glanced at the busy setup.

”Big Sister, is there anything I can help with?”

Liana glanced at her briefly, her focus still on the dish she was preparing. ”You should go to Young Master.” She gestured toward a box filled with cold drinks, already prepared and waiting on the table.

”And bring those cold drinks to him and the girls.”

”Um... okay~”

Gracelle picked up the box of drinks and was about to walk toward Javier when Liana’s voice stopped her.

”Celine, you should join them too. And bring that roast meat to Young Master.”

Celine smiled and nodded, her gaze shifting toward the large bowl filled with cut roast meat. She stared at it for a moment, unsure how to lift it, before Gracelle spoke up.

”You take this box. I’ll bring that one.”

”Okay~ Thank you, Gracelle~”

”You’re welcome~”

Gracelle’s smile widened as the two of them walked together toward Javier. Lyzia was about to follow them when Liana’s voice cut through the air, sharp and pointed.

”Where do you think you’re going, young lady? Hmm?”

Lyzia froze mid-step, turning her head with a puzzled expression. ”Eh? I was about to go to Brother-in-law.”

”For what?” Liana narrowed her eyes. ”You stay here and help Buddy.”

”Ehhhh!?” Lyzia’s face twisted in protest, her voice rising in complaint. ”But I don’t want to help this big menace! He keeps calling me a witch! Do you know how insulting that is? A beautiful, elegant, graceful elf princess like me, being called something so...”

Buddy turned his head toward her, his beak curling into a smug smirk.

”Cuquawked~” (Witch~)
