Reborn As Noble

Chapter 1453: A Grand Hall Beneath the Manor ( 1453 )

They all descended the wide marble staircase toward the underground training facility. Celine’s eyes widened as she took in her surroundings, the walls glowing softly with embedded mana crystals that cast a warm, gentle light. The marble stairs were polished to a mirror shine, with elegant handrails carved from white stone and accented with gold inlays.

Her thoughts raced as she marveled at the craftsmanship.

This is incredible... Even the stairway alone rivals the finest halls of the Divinity Royal Palace. The attention to detail, the cleanliness, the glow of the mana crystals... it’s like walking through a masterpiece.

When they reached the bottom, the space opened into a vast, open training hall. Celine’s breath caught in her throat.

The room was enormous, with high ceilings supported by marble pillars etched with glowing runes. The floor was polished marble, smooth as glass, reflecting the soft light from above. Along the edges of the hall were resting areas with elegant garden seats, potted plants, and small fountains, creating a serene, almost park-like atmosphere despite being underground. Several Armand personnel and maids moved through the area with quiet efficiency.

Celine’s eyes darted around, taking in every detail.

Is this really a training area?

It doesn’t feel like a training facility at all. It looks more like a grand hall from a palace.

It’s beautiful. Peaceful. Even the air feels fresh, like we’re at the surface.

Divinity’s royal palace doesn’t even have this level of beauty and elegance. And this is just the entrance area...

I wonder if there’s more to visit after this?

Yesterday, the Garden Room and the room before were already beautiful. And now this...

No wonder everyone here doesn’t look bored at all.

I even took a look at the maid dining hall yesterday after the meeting with all the girls. The food options were lined up beautifully, with a variety of dishes to choose from.

According to Big Sis Liana and Big Sis Gloria, the maids work in shifts of four hours minimum, and their pay is even better than what nobles or royal servants receive in the Human Nation. And according to the maids assigned to me, their quarters are comfortable and well-maintained.

I wonder if I’ll have a chance to visit those areas they talked about.

Mimi continued eating her food, her tail swaying in delight as she glanced around the beautiful surroundings before turning her gaze toward Liana.

”Ne~ ne~ Big Sis?”

”Hmm? Yes, Mimi?” Liana kept walking gracefully, nodding toward the maids and Armand guards who saluted as they passed.

”Since when did this area become so beautiful, nya? It wasn’t like this last week.”

”Hmm? Oh.” Liana smiled softly, her voice calm and warm. ”Young Master, with the help of Armand workers, soldiers, carpenters, and maids, handled the renovation and arranged everything. You know our husband and his magic crafting. There weren’t many changes, just the tiles and the marble. He only adjusted this waiting area, while the actual training zone remains nearly the same with slight improvements.”

”Ooo~” Mimi shrugged, continuing to eat as she skipped along, her tail swayed happily.

Beside her, Lyzia hummed cheerfully, enjoying the walk with a confident bounce in her step. Liana glanced over her shoulder, a curious smile on her lips.

”And what are you so excited about, Lyzia?”

”Hnn~ Hnn~” Lyzia puffed her chest out smugly, her chin lifted high. ”Soon, I’ll be able to surpass Big Sister! And believe me, I’ll do it before I go back to the Elven Nation~”

”Arara~ Really?” Liana’s smile remained serene, but her eyes carried a subtle, knowing glint. ”I can’t wait to see my little sister actually manage to do that~”

Lyzia clasped both hands behind her back before moving closer to Liana and nudging her shoulder playfully. A cheeky grin spread across her face.

”Ne~ If I actually manage to surpass you, Big Sister... will you give me a reward~?”

Liana raised an eyebrow, a soft, amused smile tugging at her lips. ”A reward?”

Gloria nudged her glasses, a sly smirk forming. ”You know, my little cousin~ before you go for the main course, you should start with the appetizer. Don’t rush for the main dish, or you might find yourself biting off more than you can chew~”

”Hmmph! I’m sure I can~” Lyzia puffed her chest out, her voice filled with confidence. ”I’ll finish the ’appetizer’ easily, and then I’ll move straight to the ’main dish.’ So if I manage to do that, I want a reward, Big Sister~”

Liana tilted her head, her smile turning playful. ”And what exactly would you like as a reward, dear little sister?”

Lyzia twirled a strand of her hair around her finger, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

”Well~ if I manage to surpass you, I want you to call Mother and Father and ask them to let me stay here, or better yet, live here.” She moved closer to Celine, hugging her and pressing her cheek against Celine’s, rubbing it affectionately. ”So I can stay with my best friend here~”

”Arara~ Is that it?” Liana gave a knowing look at Gloria, who smirked and nudged her glasses. Liana’s gaze then turned back toward her sister. ”How about this~”

She tapped her chin, pretending to glance up at the ceiling before giving Lyzia a narrow, challenging look with a serene smile.

”Since you’ll be staying here in Armand for, I believe... hmm... one month? If you manage to surpass the ’appetizer’ within that time, I’ll let you be Young Master’s eighth wife. How does that sound?”

”Really?” Lyzia’s eyes snapped toward Liana, gleaming with excitement. ”You’re not going to take back your word, are you?”

Liana crossed one arm under her breast, tilting her head to the side while her other palm rested on her cheek. ”I never go back on my word. If you don’t believe me, you can ask my co-wives.”

Lyzia wiggled her eyebrows, grinning widely. ”No taking back! It’s a promise!” She extended her pinky finger toward Liana, who took it with a serene, knowing smile.

Lyzia puffed her chest out proudly. ”It’ll be easy peasy~ So? Who’s the ’appetizer’~?”

Felicia, who had heard the entire exchange, widened her eyes before moving closer to Liana, her voice a low, high-pitched whisper. ”Big Sis Liana, are you seriously considering that?”

Liana leaned in and smiled before whispering back, ”You don’t need to worry about it, Felicia. Yes, I’m serious. If my little sister can prove herself, I’ll honor my word.” She then glanced over her shoulder, her voice sweet and melodic.

”Mimi~”

”Nya? Yes, Big Sis?”

”Mimi, you will be the ’appetizer’ for Lyzia to challenge.”

Mimi, who was still chewing her food, glanced at Lyzia before speaking with her mouth full. ”If she wins, she becomes my junior. But if she loses?”

”She gets nothing, and will go back to the Elven Nation to be the actual princess.”

”Nya? So what do I get?”

Liana smiled and leaned in, cupping her hand toward Mimi’s ear to whisper. ”I’ll let you have a special day with our husband, just for you alone. You want to go on a date with him, right? Or perhaps a whole night of mating~? Or maybe... you want more~?”

”Nyaaa!” Mimi’s tail swayed in excitement before she grinned widely. ”Okay, nya!”
