Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 3096: Variables (2)

Hearing that, everyone in the main tent went silent.

Xia Yunxi’s words were extremely reasonable, and some of them had thought of this as well.

Even if they didn’t think of it from the start, they started to understand after her explanation.

Although there might be two Sky Devils eyeing the campsite, one of them was still in the middle of advancement after all. Hence, the campsite still wasn’t in its most critical situation.

The minute another Sky Devil came out of his closed door cultivation and the two Sky Devils joined hands, eliminating this small stronghold was as easy as snapping their fingers. By then, no matter how they defend, it would be useless.

So Xia Yunxi’s point of view was to attack the enemy while the other Sky Devil was still in closed door cultivation!

But facing this suggestion was a real problem. That was— they couldn’t even eliminate one Sky Devil! If they attacked them first, there was a possibility that the result would end up in the entire army being annihilated…

As the saying went, no matter what they did, they were in a tight corner.

It seemed that no matter what choice they made, the result of the campsite would eventually end up in destruction.

But humans would always have the mentality to save their skins. Although they knew that delaying would end up in the same result, most of them would still choose to drag until they couldn’t drag on any longer…

“Team Leader Xia, I cannot agree with your viewpoint! The possibility of failure if we attacked automatically is even higher. By then, the campsite will immediately be lost! But if we take the defense strategy, we will be able to hold on to it for some time!”

“That’s right. Perhaps the Sky Devil mid-phase would fail during his advancement and go into Qi Deviation? Then the demon tribe will automatically retreat!”

“We can continue to send someone to Blessed City to ask for reinforcement. Perhaps when the armies from the other strongholds see our letters asking for help, they would send reinforcements!”

Hearing the Commanders rebuking her, Xia Yunxi’s expression slowly turned cold.

She thought inwardly, “These people are only thinking of how to survive longer, and don’t even wish to take such a big risk! They’re even hoping that they would get lucky and be saved!”

“But even if that Sky Devil top exponent fails in his advancement, will the devil army retreat?”

“The greater possibility was that the entire demon tribe would be activated to capture even more humans to be refined into blood pills to nourish that Sky Devil, no?”

“As for reinforcements, Li Yukun had already sent out so many men to ask for reinforcements. But until now, none of the reinforcements appeared!”

“It’s so obvious that either those people had been killed or the other campsites had also met with a huge wave of attack from the demon tribe. None of them were able to care about them!”

“Under this kind of situation, instead of carrying such an enthusiastic mentality of self-rescue, they’re still having unrealistic illusions of being saved…”

“Do these people not want to survive?”

Xia Yunxi didn’t bother to argue with these people but looked at Li Yukun enthusiastically.

“Divine Lieutenant, what do you think?”

Li Yukun heard their voices and hesitated for a moment before he finally said, “Even if we want to attack them first, we can’t act recklessly. We will need a detailed plan before we take action! In this period, we’d better continue with the strategy to defend our stronghold first. Fully activate all the defense arrays, and notify all teams that they are not allowed to step out of the campsite!”

“Divine Lieutenant is wise!”

“We will adhere to Divine Lieutenant’s command!”

Hearing that, all the Commanders heaved a sigh of relief and hurriedly responded.

Xia Yunxi showed a disappointed look and back down.
