Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 3085: So Easy To Earn Military Merits? (1)

Huang Yueli was still organizing her thoughts when she said these words.

Team 3’s original mission was to guard the granary. So logically speaking, they should be keeping guard around the granary’s surroundings. No matter if it was the demon tribe or any other humans who came to attack, they shouldn’t have left that place at all!

In the end, she secretly left to earn military merits. In reality, that was considered an unauthorized departure from her official duty.

She had her judgment towards the battle situation and firmly believed that nothing would go wrong with her arrangement. But it would easily become a hot topic for gossip eventually.

Luckily, after she finished her sentence, no one seemed to notice that she had deserted her post.

Everyone’s main focus was on—

“What? You killed those devils who were transporting the resources??”

Huang Yueli nodded and added, “I didn’t kill them alone. I killed them along with my soldiers in Team 3…”

“You said that the demon tribe was lacking in the supply of resources because you killed some devil soldiers??”

However, before Huang Yueli had the chance to continue with her sentence, a commander crudely interrupted her. “Stop joking, aren’t you just a Dream Profound Realm practitioner? Even though your ability isn’t too bad, and you managed to sneak an attack to kill some devils, so what? The demon tribe’s army who is in charge of transporting those resources consists of at least 200 to 300 members, isn’t it?”

Huang Yueli turned around and realized that the person talking was a practitioner from the White Tiger Clan.

That person was called Jing Zhihai, and he was famous at this campsite. He was slightly over 40 years old and his cultivation had reached Heart Profound Realm mid-phase. He is just another top exponent just beneath Divine Lieutenant Li Yukun.

His reputation within the army was very high, and the things he said would naturally earn the response in agreement from the others.

“That’s right, what Commander Jing said is right! You’re just a Dream Profound Realm practitioner. How many devils can you kill?”

“Hahahaha, this is simply amusing. This is the funniest joke I’ve heard in this entire day! A mere human practitioner, after he killed some devils, he thinks that he can stop the demon tribe from transporting their resources? You’re thinking too highly of yourself!”

“That’s right, I’m going to die of laughter! Do the freshmen nowadays think they’re so great nowadays? Forget about him, even if it’s Commander Jing, he wouldn’t dare to claim that he stopped the demon tribe’s resources team alone! These devils split into smaller teams and scatters around the forest. To dig all of them out, it’s even tougher than trying to ascend to heaven!”

“Oh my, enough. Everyone, please stop laughing! A freshman doesn’t know anything so cracking a joke is as normal as it can be…”

In a second, the campsite broke out into laughter.

A majority of the people didn’t believe in what Huang Yueli said, and couldn’t help but laugh!

It was no wonder that they didn’t believe in her, because it was only one aspect for them to slighted her ability with disdain.

The other important aspect was that everyone knew that the devils’ five senses were much stronger than humans or even god clan practitioners. It was even more so for a place like a forest. So basically, the devils would be the ones who sneak attacks on humans first.

From the others’ perspectives, Huang Yueli managed to kill some devils and not sustain any injury was already very lucky.

Who would believe that she could counter-attack and even find all the devils who were within the transportation route?

In the campsite, the commanders’ and team leaders’ laughter were becoming more and more unbridled.

However, Huang Yueli spoke in an unhurried and composed expression. “Of course, I can’t kill so many devils alone. I’ve said this earlier, I killed them along with my soldiers in Team 3!”
