Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 3050: Really Can’t Leave (2)

The middle-aged Divine Lieutenant was apparently very strict. His soldiers gathered quickly and shortly after, they lined up in their formation and started to walk out of the campsite.

Huang Yueli and Xia Yunxi secretly snuck into a corner. When they lifted their head, they had a shock.

Because the number of devils in front of them was simply too many!

When they came to this campsite previously, all they saw were just a few members of the small team. In front of a genuine top exponent, they couldn’t put up a fight at all!

But it was different now. All they could see on the enemy’s end was a sea of pitch-black color. There were so many devils that they couldn’t count at all.

Moreover, when these devils brandished their weapons and executed their devil skills, a sliver of demonic qi emanated from their bodies, and many small drops make up an ocean. It actually formed into a large piece of black smoky demonic qi in the sky!

This black smoke looked the same as what they saw in the light sphere. Moreover, it was even darker and thicker than before!

Anyone who stayed in the black smoke for too long would feel suffocated, even if they were at Huang Yueli or Xia Yun’s cultivation level.

It was even more needless to say for those ordinary human soldiers. Those soldiers at the frontline weren’t able to ward them off at all.

Although they had already taken the medicinal pill to resist demonic qi earlier, under the invasion of such thick black smoke, the effect of the pill was indeed extremely limited.

Many soldiers couldn’t take it and their actions were beginning to slow down. In the end, the devils managed to chase up to them and chop them into halves.

For a moment in time, the allied armies were on the losing end. Numerous soldiers were defeated by the demon tribe and blood splattered everywhere.

Some devils were also picking up those human soldiers’ body parts along the way, keeping them into their realm rings. It was obvious that they were intending to bring it back to refine into pills.

“These devils… they’re simply too brutal!” Huang Yueli couldn’t help but frown.

Xia Yunxi was also disgusted by their actions. “This is also my first time seeing the army engaged in a battle. I didn’t expect it to… be like this!”

“There are simply too many devils. Moreover, their demonic qi’s destructive power is too large. Do you think that with this amount of manpower in this campsite, can they really ward the enemy off?”

Huang Yueli frowned and she could deeply comprehend the worries that the middle-aged Divine Lieutenant had told them earlier. It was not a bluff.

This campsite was indeed on the verge of destruction.

“Why don’t we go and help them out?”

“Yes, I have the same idea in mind too!”

The two of them were just about to move when two rays of strong light shone from both sides of the camp. These two electric currents sliced past the sky and landed right in the middle of the demon tribe’s formation.

“Rumble—!”

After a loud explosion, two deep pits appeared at the place where the devil soldiers had gathered.

Many devils were blown up instantly. Moreover, the demon tribe’s formation was torn apart because of this. Those devils which had gathered were all dispersed into several teams because of the explosion, and their numbers were greatly reduced.

On the other hand, due to the separation of the demon tribe, the amount of demonic qi in the sky lessened. The black smoke also gradually turned lighter.

Huang Yueli also heaved a sigh of relief.

The allied armies’ campsite seemed to be set up with several mechanisms and arrays. It was obvious that two huge mechanisms were detonated!

Moreover, the Spiritual Armament Master who refined this large-sized mechanism apparently understood the demon tribe’s weak points. The mechanism itself wasn’t complicated, but the destructive power towards the demon tribe was so tremendous. That proved that he was a veteran.

“Charge!”

Following the Commander’s commands, the human soldiers seemed to have grabbed a chance as they charged at the demon tribe once again.

This time, the allied armies’ troops had the absolute advantage. After the devils engaged in the battle for a short moment, they started to retreat.
