Prodigiously Amazing Weaponsmith

Chapter 3040: Let Him Out Like A Fart (4)

“Isn’t that so! On the battlefield with the demon tribe, a majority number of people are cannon fodders. There aren’t many who has abilities like us.”

Xia Yunxi paused for a moment and said, “But we’ve been really lucky over the past two days. Actually, it’s mostly ordinary devil soldiers on the battlefield. Most of the time, it’s very difficult to meet with Earth Devils. A devil soldier is just worth a few military merits. So no matter how powerful you are, there’s not much use.”

Huang Yueli instantly became disappointed and her face fell.

But it only took a couple of breaths before she turned excited again. “Don’t bother about that. Since our luck is so good today, let’s grab hold of time. Hurry! Use your prediction power to sense what direction is the next group of devils who are closest to us now?”

She grabbed Xia Yunxi so the latter could only go along with her.

But she didn’t forget to warn Huang Yueli. “Later, you’re not allowed to stay on the sidelines and watch the commotion, otherwise I will go on a strike! I’d like to see where you can go and find the demon tribe by then!”

“Yes, yes, yes, you’re absolutely right! I will not dare to do it again!” Huang Yueli said without turning back.

“Your reply is too superficial!”

The two young ladies squabbled as they walked towards the deeper part of the forest, continuing to accumulate their military merits.

When it was midnight, Huang Yueli had no choice but to admit that what Xia Yunxi said was right.

The two of them spent an entire afternoon searching the forest for the demon tribe but only found a few devil soldiers. They didn’t get to find any Earth Devils at all.

So their military merits did not increase much.

The two of them rested on a tall treetop for the night and early next month, they discussed a way to leave this forest.

“It seems that military merits aren’t that easy to earn! Too many devils had died in this forest. If we attract the devil army’s attention, we’d be in big trouble if they send a large number of devils to look for us. It’s better to leave this place first.” Huang Yueli said regretfully.

Xia Yunxi nodded in agreement. “We should change a place. The best idea to earn a large number of military merits is to return to Blessed City first. After that, we can apply to be stationed at the frontline stronghold. In this way, when we meet with the devil army attacking, we’d just be raking in the military merits in huge amounts! It’d be much faster than us playing guerrilla warfare now!”

Huang Yueli thought for a moment but shook her head. “Forget it, the military merits’ uses might be good but I can’t stay in this place for long. I have to go look for my husband. When we return to Blessed City, I’ll continue to teleport and think of a way to go to Cloudy Qilin Continent. As for earning those military merits… I will think about it in the future!”

After a short moment of excitement, Huang Yueli could still tell the difference between the severity of the matters on hand.

She had been separated from Li Moying for one and a half years, and she really missed him a lot. She wanted to meet him as soon as possible.

As compared to Li Moying, everything else wasn’t that important anymore.

Xia Yunxi’s gaze dimmed slightly upon hearing that and said, “You and your husband’s feelings for each other are loving…”

Huang Yueli patted her shoulder and comforted her, “It’s alright, you are so powerful and so pretty. Besides, you’re still so young! Just dump that scumbag! I’m sure there are plenty of talented men who are waiting to woo you! Just let him out like a fart!”

Xia Yunxi laughed at what she said and clenched her fists. “Alright, I’ll treat him like a fart and let him out!”

The two ladies giggled and rolled over with laughter.

Several hundred miles away, the azure robed man sneezed several times in a row.
